Very friendly, Doctor. Excellent bedside manner. He was great with our baby and my wife. Highly recommend taking your child to see Dr. Leider.

My experience was terrible. I was pitched and had a procedure that was unnecessary and did not help my issue. I also received a bill for my share of over $2500. I was never informed that the cost would be this high. The procedure was much more invasive then a was led to believe. My first time here and it was an AMAZING experience! Sure there is a wait, it's a doctors office. Every person we interacted with was incredible, kind, and funny! They made me feel like I've known them my whole life. Dr. Leider was friendly and very personable. Down to the receptionists. They helped me figure out my nose issues and what I need to do. I wear in the canal near the ear drum Lyric top of the line best quality hearing aids. My regular ENT's office was still closed three months after the Governor permitted them to reopen; all I got when I called was a recording but no return telephone calls. When I was at my audiologists getting my hearing aids and batteries changed. Suddenly a big clump of earwax that was in my right ear canal and no one could remove it. My audiologist suggested that I go the Dr. Leider and see if it was possible to get it removed before we put the new hearing aid in my right ear As a stranger with no appointment, no Medicare card I showed up and explained my situation. The receptionist, said "Just relax, fill out the patient sheet and let's see what we can do can do, she called and got my Medicare information from my audiologist, within 15 minutes the nasty clump of earwax was removed, and within a total of 25 minutes my new right hearing aid was in and I was happy as a pig in mud. We had visited his office because we were recommended to him by our PCP doctor to check if my husband had any lump or cyst in his throat as he has always felt like something was in there but he could still breathe normally just always his throat felt irritated. The doctor looked at him immediately, Dr. Leider was extremely friendly and reassuring. He even allowed me (wife) to come into office as we were told only my husband was allowed in for safety, but he seen that my husband was bit nervous and allowed me entrance into their office. We had an overall very good experience with Dr. Leider as well as the secretary. She was helpful, and sweet also. I would definitely recommend Dr. Leider, as he was very professional in that he knew what he was doing, he was kind in that he was patient and understanding of my husband as well as myself, and because everyone there was pleasant. Took both my sons to see him, excellent with kids. Answered all my questions and felt comfortable with his knowledge.

Received a bill from this doctor today for over 200 dollars, I haven't seen this doctor in over a year for a simple check up, so I call, whoever I spoke to was super rude and told me they couldn't help and that I just owed the money. I call my insurance company to sort things out, they tell me they paid the doc and all I was liable for was the deductible/ co-pay which I paid in the office when I had my appointment over a year ago. I still have the receipt. This is robbery, and I am very upset and will not pay this made up bill, If they continue to harass me for this I will take legal action as I have full documentation. Very disappointed in this... I suggest they fix this right away.

The doctor is wonderful! He was very kind and worked well with my son! His staff however is super super rude! I was rushed through questions and made to feel unimportant! I thought maybe she was having a bad day, nope, when I called back to schedule a surgery she was rude, rushed me through the process and said she had to go because she had a people to be checked in! Dr seemed ok . But the office staff was extremely irresponsible. After months of seeing the physician they tell me my insurance is out of network and hence the surgery would be not covered . They could have at least mentioned that when they took the insurance information. Now I am supposed to take my child and start the whole process with a new ENT . What they don’t take into account is their irresponsibility can affect a child’s health and learning. Also, the staff was extremely rude when confronted about that and did not even offer an apology. Lovely office. Dr. Lieder was recommended to me by a medical professional. The physical office itself was a great example of how this office puts their patients first. The staff was very friendly and welcoming and Dr. Lieder was thorough, friendly, and kind.

Dr Leider has a way of making you feel at ease in his office. Office personnel are also very kind. Our family would highly recommend him to anyone needing an ENT. He’s excellent!

This office sets the bar for what a Dr office should be. A kind & organized staff, a caring doctor, clean & welcoming waiting room and... wait for it.....on time appointments!!! Even the restroom offers a changing table w/supplies for the babies! I wish Dr. Leider could be my PCP instead of just my ENT.

My kids loved him; fun and knowledgeable every visit. Made the kids feel welcome and relaxed; did a great job explaining everything he's thinking and why. You can tell he's very experienced. Quick visits, but not hurried. Just perfect! He also said what we could expect before, during, and after the T&A (and turbinates). Had nurse calls beforehand, and even a few times afterward to check my child's recovery. Received paperwork that gave us all necessary info, recommendations, care instructions, and that answered all our questions throughout our visits and surgery. We knew we could call 24/7 after the operation. Dr. Leider is one of few docs I've ever felt completely understood and cared for by. Absolutely fabulous! Highly recommend to anyone of any age! If I was able to leave half a corner of a star I would. A full star alone is to much. When you're a parent and have children you see numerous doctors in your lifetime. I've only encountered a few bad experiences, which I am grateful for. This one has to be up there with one of those bad experiences. I am also grateful for technology..where your voice can be heard, when you feel like you were mistreated. Sometimes situations happen and doctors are unaware of how their staff interact with patients. Doctors' offices are a business like any other. It takes a team of people to make it function properly and smoothly. I highly suggest Jeffrey S. Leider reevaluate who his staff is and how they are representing him in his practice. Finding the office was easy, it's a nice big building with ample parking. The office seemed nice until you deal with the staff. The woman at the first desk, unfortunately, I did not get her name, was rude and talked over me. I left my checkbook at home by accident and I was unable to pay for the co-pay. I was told rudely several times they need payment at the time of visit. I was explaining to the receptionist I forgot my checkbook. Happens to the best of us I am sure. As I was trying to get that across to her she stood up and walked away without any explanation as to where she was going or what she was doing. She went to ask the office manager if they could take my child without a co-payment. She came back and said "no we can not see your child without a co-payment". Then she rudely said "well, we DO take credit cards". As she pointed to their credit card machine. I replied I don't have any credit cards (not everyone has a credit card). She then asked me if there was someone I can call. Her question confused me, call for what? She then replied, "to pay for the co-pay over the phone"? I said well possibly and she rudely handed me a piece of paper to write the credit card information on. I tried getting in contact with my significant other but was unable to reach them. I let the receptionist know my dilemma and she replies "let me get the office manager". The office manager walks over within a few minutes and seems unwelcoming and rude as well. She rudely asks what the problem is instead of being polite and saying ..Hello, how are you? ..How may I help you? I assumed she knew what was going on considering the receptionist went over to her just a few minutes ago asking if the doctor can see my child without the co-payment? I looked at the receptionist and the she proceeded to tell her what I thought she already new. The office manager had no idea why she was being called over. I said "how many patients parents could they possibly have checking in at this very moment with this very issue?" She also kept talking over me. She kept saying "ma'am, the office policy was co-payment is due at the time of service". The receptionist interjected and said they could reschedule me and I replied that I have been trying to get my child in to be seen for over a month (I drove almost an hour to get there.. so much traffic. I had to get my child from school early and coordinate child care for my younger child. This was NOT a hop skip and jump for me at all.) To be treated poorly and have my child declined to be seen over a co-payment that could have been billed to me? I said that I will not reschedule the appointment. I also asked for everything (paperwork) that had to do with my child to be given back to me. I will gladly have my child go elsewhere. There are tons of Ear, Nose & Throat doctors in Michigan. Seems like a tonsillectomy mill. Before agreeing to surgery with Dr Leider, seek a second opinion. Always be skeptical of doctor owned surgical centers. Always be curious when a doctor tells you not to look at your child’s throat when they've recently had surgery and have complications.

We’ve been very pleased with dr leiders care. My daughter had adenoidectomy and we had a very smooth and fantastic experience from beginning to end. He’s been great with us and will call us personally to follow up on her. He always communicates clearly his course of action and plans. Great doctor!

After a horrible situation with another ENT, I brought my daughter in for a second opinion. Dr. Leider saved her after weeks of the other ENT giving us the run around. The fact that Dr. Leider is part owner of the surgical center is actually a plus! The nurses are wonderful, the gave my daughter VIP treatment like all the other patients and, unlike the hospital, they let me be with her all the way until she was under anastethia. I would have not been able to bear her being wheeled off without me. No matter what you read, Dr. Leider, from my heart, helped us more than anyone else could have and I refer him ALL the time. We had a referral to see Dr. Leider but were never seen due to our interaction with the office staff. My son had his appointment cancelled twice due to weather conditions. The second time they cancelled I was told there were going to call the next day to reschedule. 5 days later they still had not called. When I called I was told it was my responsibility to reschedule an appointment they cancelled. The receptionist hung up on me when I informed them I was requesting a different doctor.

Dr. Leider has seen almost every member of my family for various ENT-related issues. We are very happy with his friendly and confident bedside manner. He is very, very clear on what to expect with every test, procedure, result and recovery. He will describe things well without insulting your intelligence. He most recently performed my 4 year old's tonsillectomy and adnoidectomy, and it was smooth and quick - they even gave her an Elmo doll! Recovery was as expected and we had no issues after the surgery. Wait times in the office lobby are acceptable (usually less than 10 minutes). I haven't had any issues with staff as reported by other reviewers. We are very glad to have found Dr. Leider! Dr. Leider has seen almost every member of my family for various ENT-related issues. He is an excellent doctor. Before going to him we tried 2 other ENT specialist. He is the one that we prefer by far!

Very disappointed in the disregard for others time. I confirmed our appointment three days prior and I arrived 10 min early (as requested) with forms already filled in. We waited over 30min and were still in the waiting room. I asked twice in this time span about when we would be seen. The receptionist said "I don't know" and informed us that someone else was still before us. I also drove an hour to get there and pulled my child from school to do so. Waste of time, so we left unseen.

We are very happy with Dr. Leider as our daughter's ENT. He was compassionate, caring, and thorough. He listened to all of our concerns and his office staff is wonderful. She had her very first surgery with him and it was successful from start to finish. We are very happy in his care.

The Great Lakes surgical Center he does his procedures out of has horrible staff, they are cold and abrupt with children and families anxious about impending surgery. My son was extremely anxious about his surgery they left him waiting in his gown for over an hour I gave him my cellphone (with volume off) so he could play on it to keep his anxiety down. The staff made a huge issue out of him using a cellphone eventhough it had zero sound and there is no practical reason why he can't. Dreadful
