Dr. Jeffrey A. Lefkovitz

Dr.Lefkovitz has been my Dr for 3 years. Unfortunately I was Inpatient at Riverside Hospital a few weeks ago, and a Dr from Ohio Gastro performed an Endoscopy on me. I am still having stomach issues and I called to get in to see Dr.Lefkovitz and he will no longer see me since I had care by another gastro Dr while I was"In Patient ". I feel this is very unprofessional, since he was my Dr prior to being at Riverside Hospital. My mother and my sister are both patients of Dr.Lefkovitz and I still can not believe he is denying me care. I will be calling my PCP who referred me to him. I will be contacting my PCP who referred me to him, and let her know how this has happened.

I appreciate Dr. Lefkovitz a great deal. He's been my trusted gastroenterologist for 6 years, since diagnosing my celiac disease. I agree with all of the positive comments on this site about him. However the situation is like a restaurant where the food is great but it's always so crowded you can't get in. I need to see him now, but the first available appointment is not for 2 months; so I'm looking for a different doctor.

Definitely the worst doctor I have ever seen. Extremely long waiting time. Have no clear idea of what actions to take. Never have follow-ups on the test results. Only accept checks for bill payment. Forgot to send prescription to the lab for my test. When the test result was sent back, no digital record for it and the staff spent two days to find the results. Avoid him!! Great place to have it done. They are very caring and no pain!!

Yes, you have to wait to see Dr., however when you do spend time with him he spends a decent amount of time explaining what’s going on change; checking with you to see if anything is changed; ask you if you need prescriptions and discusses whether or not you need to have more tests run. He’s very thorough and I appreciate it.

Worst doctor ever. I had a stomach issue (gas after meals) and started to see him from 1 year ago. I was asked to do multiple tests with thousands of dollars spent but he still cannot find the issue. What he did was just asking me: maybe let us do xx test? Also, after the tests, his office did not call me to tell me what was going on. I called his office multiple times, but they had no idea what the results were and what I should do. Please do not waste your time and money with this doctor. Worst doctor ever. Colonoscopy without discomfort. You may have to wait past your scheduled time in the office but a painless colonoscopy is makes him the best GI in the region.

Outstanding Doctor. Has called personally on several occasions to check on my progress. Very thorough. Goes the extra mile. Highly recommend.

He needs to schedule patients more efficiently. I have waited myself for 45 min and I have heard people talking that they have been waiting over an hour.

I have had two colonoscopies with Dr. Lefkovitz. He is efficient and caring. Both procedures were pain free and easy.

I would definitely recommend Dr. Lefkovitz. He helped to save my life after another gastro dr mis-diagnosed me with gastroparesis. Dr. Lefkovitz did the right thing and performed an endoscopy and visibly confirmed there was an obstruction which ended up being cancer. I don't still follow with Dr. L but he certainly got me on the right track to getting the proper treatment and surgery and am now cancer free. (The mis-diagnosis was from the quack Dr. Stiff. Do not go to Dr. Stiff.)

I've seen Dr. Lefkovitz since 2010, he was recommended by two doctors who are my friends, he's informative and thorough on office visits. He did a colonoscopy on me, no pain, no discomfort.
