The doctors and staff members are the most amazing and caring people I’ve ever met. They don’t just think about saving lives, they think about the quality of life as well.

Dr James is the most compassionate Dr I have ever known! When I went into his office two years I was a mess, in one hour with dr James I had infectious diesease dr and had wound packed and cleaned! Thank you dr James you saved my life and continue to do so!

Dr. James was communicative and compassionate through what was a difficult procedure for me. Ladies, we all know that seeing a gynecological oncologist is never something one looks forward to. Still, Dr, James and his excellent team made everything much easier. He took the time to answer my many questions, and I never felt rushed at appointments. He is competent and caring. I rarely leave reviews, but I do want future patients to know how well Dr. J will take good care of you.

Jeffrey James is amazing doctor. My robotic hysterectomy recovery is going smoothly and I am lucky that he did my surgery..I highly recommend doctor jeffrey james!!

Dr. Jeffrey James saved my life! I was given false information by an OBGYN in Castle Rock which included that I had fatal Lynch Syndrome....which Dr. James confirmed I did not have! He explained every detail of the steps necessary to treat my endometrial cancer with a laparoscopic hysterectomy using the firefly method. He was attentive and compassionate after surgery in addition to every single aftercare visit. I never felt rushed in his presence. This was my first hospital stay, my first surgery, my first cancer. I had no fear while in his care. There are no words to express my sincere gratitude for everything he has done for me. Everyone should be so fortunate to choose Dr. Jeffrey James to care for them.

AWESOME!!! He is an excellent Doctor/Surgeon. He is patient with his patients! and very knowledgeable. Don't be discouraged if you have to wait a while - believe me it is worth it.

My experience has been great at The Colorado Center for Gynecologic Oncology. I would Highly recommend Dr. James to anyone needing a specialist's care. There are not words to describe how grateful I am that I was referred to Dr. James. He saved my life! He is an outstanding doctor. Could not have asked for a better doctor and staff to help me with my journey.

Dr. James has the rare combination of outstanding skills and bedside manner. Our family feels extremely blessed that we got to work with him. He genuinely cares about each patient and extended family members. Thankful beyond words for him and his team !!!

Tell Dr. James he is the man, he takes care of my girl Lisa McCormick, and I can’t say enough positive things about this guy!!! I owe him a million thanks yous!!!! He has an incredible gift of making a difference by just talking to him, and has a great sense of making the most difficult conversations easily to grasp and understand!!! I have all the faith in the world in him, a truly great doctor!!

Dr. James was careless and rushed even during surgeries. He left PET identified malignant tumors behind and told my family he "got it all".. The next PET scan (18 weeks later) revealed that he had not. He tried to tell me the remaining tumors were not on the original PET but the Pathologist vehemently dissagreed.. Two surgeries with him led to two incisional hernias. The mesh he installed to correct these then made recommended radiation impossible. When questioned about his practice mistakes he replied "you know you are IVb anyway right?." So make sure you choose a doctor who believes in giving you the best care even if statistically your prognosis is poor. Thank God I am still here in spite of his recklessness. Getting professional, expert care at MD Anderson.

Do not trust this doctor with benign tumors. He took 1 out when he knew there was 2. I spent over 2 years trying to get photos of the tumors with no success. Finally gave up. I ended up having to do a hysterectomy somewhere else after the mymectomy that he performed.

My first visit with Dr James was years ago. I was scared and he took the time to educate me and calm my fears. I will be forever grateful for his kindness and wonderful bedside manner!

Dr. James is everything you would ever want in a gynecological oncologist. He is an encyclopedia of knowledge in his field; he’s also warm, caring and funny. I do not like to refer people but this is an exception. This man saved my life! He is easy to talk to and very much a people person . He is straight forward and VERY SMART! Dr. James is an amazing surgeon with incredible bedside manner. He answered all my questions and made me feel comfortable about my surgery as well as inform my family of my condition after surgery! Would absolutely recommend him 10/10!

In June of 2018, I was diagnosed with Ovarian Cancer. Thankfully, I was given a referral to Dr. Jeffery James at The Colorado Center for Gynecologic Oncology. Dr. James along with his staff are wonderful, they have made me feel extremely blessed to have been under their expert care and guidance. Dr. James has the unique abilities to be straight forward and comprehensive in explaining my diagnosis. Having undergone extensive debulking surgery for my cancer with Dr. James he has instilled me with great confidence in his up to date knowledge, experience and surgical expertise. My chemo-therapy sessions, follow up treatments and recovery were made so much easier than I ever expected. When I was told I had possible ovarian cancer and at the least needed a full hysterectomy including ovaries and fallopian tubes, I WAS TERRIFIED. The thought of everything that entailed had me crying all the time. It was a horrible, scary time for me. From the first time I met Dr. James he made me feel calmer and brought a kind of peace of mind to me I find hard to explain. By his words and his actions in quickly scheduling my surgery to his manner in listening and even hugging me without hesitation when I began to cry in his office. His up-to-date knowledge and active research pursuits initially led me to his office; however, after meeting with him and his staff I knew that I struck gold because they were all so kind, caring, and understanding. I was not happy with Dr. James. His staff gave me contrary answers to the same questions. He never called me back but had staff do so even when they did not know the answers to my questions. He wanted to remove lymph nodes without knowing whether that was necessary, but never explained the risk of lymphedema. He and his assistant had no respect for my personal dignity.

Dr. James eased my mind and walked me through the steps. He spends the amount of time it takes with each of his patients...I would wait for however long it took because I knew I was going to get his dedicated time, too. He is so compassionate, highly skilled, and extremely knowledgeable. I am so grateful for him and his kind staff.

I found Dr. James to be one of the most competent and thorough doctors I've know. The robotic surgery allowed faster healing, the staff is wonderful, and the treatment plan was of highest quality. I have so much faith and trust in this physician's talent and ability to get our family through a difficult time. Highly recommend Dr. James to anyone needing a specialist's care.

Dr. Jeffrey James scheduled me quickly, was highly professional and knowledgeable, and attended to every one of my concerns. He made me feel comfortable, successfully performed my hysterectomy and fibroid removal, had exceptional follow-up and did everything to support my healing. His nurses were wonderful, and his staff was very attentive when I called with a concern. I have no reservations whatsoever in recommending him.

Excellent bed side manner. He eased my fears while giving me the facts. He spent time with my husband and I explaining the surgery and made us feel assured he would do what was best even if it meant a complete hysterectomy, which it did.

Incredible physician and nursing staff. Highly recommend even if location is a bit out of the way. Bedside manner is bar none. Let's all hope this young, impressive and highly educated physician stays in the Denver area for many, many years!

There is NO ONE else i would trust my daughter with. Dr James is everything you are looking for in an oncologist. Compassionate...honest....straight forward...and unbelievably talented. He is a blesssing in the storm!

Dr. James is caring and compassionate. He doesn't rush through the visit and he assures that he has answered all of your questions. He explains everything thoroughly and on a level that is understandable. It is obvious that he truly cares about his patients.

I cannot sing high enough praises for Dr. James and the team of caregivers at The Colorado Center for Gynecologic Oncology. I was diagnosed with stage 3C ovarian cancer in July of 2014. I am in remission for the 2nd time, greatly due to Dr. James' skill and expertise. His loving, caring demeanor before surgery, during my hospital stay, and continuing afterward is unprecedented. Dr. James is a top notch, #1 doctor. His heart's desire is for his patients to LIVE and have a meaningful life.
