Very professional ,friendly and skilled , would highly recommend for any oral surgery.

I had to go in for a supranumeral extraction. I was feeling a bit nervous because it was going to be the first time that I wouldn't be under any type of anesthesia. The nurse and Dr. Hitchan were extremely comforting and made sure that I felt no pain during the procedure. They were both extremely easy to talk which contributed greatly to my experience! A wonderful, top notch professional experience from start to finish. From scheduling the appointment with Diane in the front office, she totally accommodating with scheduling around your needs and she puts you at ease upon arrival giving you a worry-free experience. All of the staff is focused on your well being and expert at decreasing your anxiety. Dr. Hitchan himself totally on top of your treatment. Giving a full exam, virtually missing nothing and explaining treatment/post treatment fully and expedites that treatment according to your schedule. I can't say enough about the excellent treatment I received at Cranberry Oral Surgery. In the past year, I had teeth extracted and four dental implants placed. I was pleased with every step in the process. Dr. Hitchan is a highly skilled and experienced oral surgeon, and is also very personable and can engage in conversation with you on any number of topics. I had multiple visits and after each extraction and implant placement, Dr. Hitchan would call my home in the evening and check on how I was doing. This personal touch is greatly appreciated. Every person on the staff at Cranberry Oral Surgery is professional, competent and cordial. They do whatever they can to make sure you are as comfortable as possible. The office and rooms are very nice and there are peaceful views out the windows of the nearby woods. Although no one likes to undergo dental procedures, Dr. Hitchan and his staff make the experience less unpleasant than it would otherwise be. I went there to have a broken tooth pulled. I had an appointment, but they got me in weeks earlier because I was in pain. Everyone was very friendly, and the tooth pulling was only mildly uncomfortable. A great experience.

I do not hesitate to give a HIGH recommendation for Dr. Hitchan and his staff. My recent dental procedure there could not have been handled - even during COVID-19 times - in a more caring and professional manner. Most importantly with great results! I recently had to have a tooth removed using anesthesia. We brought our 9 year old daughter in yesterday. They fit her in on an emergency when she split a baby tooth and it needed removed. Our daughter was very scared and emotional but the staff at COS couldn't have been nicer to her. They sat, talked and held hands with her, even when she was crying. They made the process go so smooth and we felt that they really did care about her and how scared she was. The patient care and attention was the single best experience I have ever had with my daughter. Dr. Hitchan even called last night to make sure she was OK. I cannot begin to express how wonderful, knowledgable and compassionate Dr. Hitchan and his team are. I'm in my 40's and had a partially impacted wisdom tooth that needed to be removed. The pain it had caused me over the years was so intense at times that I finally made an appt.. I'll be frank. I was TERRIFIED. I was having literal panic attacks the weeks proceeding the appointment. I fear the dentist at the best of times. I opted for local pain management, so was awake throughout. Dr. Hitchan worked quickly and deftly and ensured that I felt no pain whatsoever. Diane, the nurse was also AMAZING and helped me get through it. The whole thing from walking in the door took about 40 minutes. After the extraction, I had some questions and Diane spoke with me 3 times to answer them and then called again to make sure all was well. INCREDIBLE staff INCREDIBLE service Dr. Hitchan is a stellar provider. I take provider recommendations very seriously and do not simply hand them out. Ten years ago I was a patient of Dr. Hitchan and was floored by the COMPASSIONATE, competent, high quality care provided by Dr. Hitchan and his staff. I was sent to his office directly from my endodontist. I thought I would dropping of my X-rays and be making an appointment, instead I was asked if I could wai for a few moments, they took me right back and took care of my issue. Following my experience I took my children to COS and recommended them to everyone I could. Last week, while traveling, I had somewhat of an oral surgery emergency. Of course I called COS, they quickly located my records and we discussed my issues and how to re-establish care, since it had been 6 years since I had been seen in the office and scheduled an appointment. Dr. Hitchan was in surgery at the time of my call but he called me back in less than 2 hours. I needed an antibiotic before anything could be done. Dr. Hitchan sent a prescription to my pharmacy and then got me into a cancelation slot within a matter of days. The world needs more providers like Dr. Hitchan and the COS staff. Dr. Hitchan and staff provided EXCELLENT care, made me feel at ease about my procedure, and answered all of my questions thoroughly. The doctor himself even called to check on me the night of my procedure which is totally unheard of. Dr. Hitchan and staff truly CARE about their patients and it shows! I would highly recommend this office. They are extremely knowledgeable, friendly, and caring.

Everyone there was so incredibly nice i almost didn’t want to leave. They do a great job here and the office interior is super nice and comfortable feeling. I don’t usually review unless it’s worth it.

I wouldn't go anywhere else. Dr. Hitchens and his staff are experts in their field and actually listen to their patients. Their manner is kind and relaxed, which is certainly reassuring when you need to have an oral surgery procedure. They will also take the time answer questions and educate you on what is needed and how it will be done...That is, if you actually want to know. I am sure many others would prefer to know less. Dr. Hitchens is efficient in performing operations, which is greatly appreciated by me when someone is working in my mouth. His calm, yet confident approach is just what is needed. His office staff is polite, professional and personable. As is his assistant, Kayla, who is good at keeping a positive environment, answering questions and engaging in conversation to relieve the stress of an impending tooth extraction. My dentist sent me to Dr. Hitchan to have a tooth extracted and I had an amazing overall experience. From the short time during the procedure which was also quite painless to the follow up call later in the evening. I will definitely be a regular there when I need to have things done my dentist can't do.

dr. hitchan was wonderful. very compassionate. so very grateful for his help to relieve my pain. all of his staff were very thoughtful and kind also. you can tell they all care about their patients and want to help them.

Dr. Hitchan and staff are incredible. I have a very anxious kiddo, that did well with him and his staff at age 7 for removal of an abscessed tooth 7 years ago. We chose him for that reason and all the other people recommending him for her extraction of her wisdom teeth. They did not disappoint! Their loving kindness and expert care got us through this procedure. Would recommend him to everyone, even if you have to drive a distance, he and his team are SO WORTH IT!!!

I can only assume by the 5 star rating that the Surgeon/s are wonderful... however, every time i call I get a voicemail to leave a message. When the lady called me back to schedule an appointment she was very RUDE. Sorry to bother you mam, half of my tooth is broken and pain is shooting into my jaw.. but I hope you have a wonderful day! Dr. Hitchan and his staff are "FANTASTIC". I am consistently impressed. Office is clean and modern. All the equipment looks new and high-tech. Dr. Hitchan is a master of his trade and a really nice guy you can talk to. The staff is super friendly and easy to work with and talk to. This is where you need to go, you won't be disappointed! I was recommended to Dr. Hitchen by one of my employees and I am thankful for that - what a great experience! The atmosphere is comforting as soon as you walk in and are greeted by the front staff. Everyone was warm and genuine and treated you like a person not an interruption. The actual extraction I was there for was quick and smooth and I felt nothing. Dr. Hitchen walkes me through every step so I was always aware of what was happening. I recommend this office to anyone and everyone. Great dentist!

Dr. Hitchan was a compassionate and kind surgeon! I have been to several dentists because of my dental issues and I have never seen such state-of-the-art options for bone grafting and socket preservation. Dr. Hitchan's demeanor, bed side manner, and professionalism was outstanding and his work- impeccable. I'm only a few days out from surgery and my surgical site looks really great and the pain is minimal. The doctor even called me himself the night of the surgery to see how I was doing!
