I've been going to the Healthy Smile for years. I had to get a root canal and crown on my front tooth. Dr. Gross referred me to a laboratory to get a color match for the crown considering it was my front tooth So pleased with the result! You can't even tell I have a crown!

The hygienist Sarah was exceptional. Careful and detailed work on my teeth and gums, and the appointment went quickly. Recommended for anyone.

10:00 a:m Thursday I called doctor Gross about pain in my upper jaw/teeth. They asked if I could come at noon that same day. After taking x-rays it was determined I needed a root canal. Doctor Gross paused a moment and said “let’s do it right now”. When he told me I didn’t need any anesthesia I panicked. But he reassured me there would be no pain because it was a dead tooth. Appointment at 10am. Had to ask the X-ray Tech where the DDS was 40 minutes into my wait. Finally comes in speaking in a whisper. I had to ask him to repeat all of what he was saying, he has a mask on and is whispering. He said I would need a crown. I asked about the price, he mumbled about $1200 or so. I reviewed my DDS insurance card, asked him what this type of work fell under, he said he didn’t know but then took 2 seconds of his time to look at my card, says major restoration. I had needed extensive dental work for some time, and Dr. Gross did the work and did an excellent job. Both Dr. Gross + Staff were great and very accommodating, even through the pandemic. Dr. Gross is amazing! Due to Sjogren's, I lost most of my teeth and had the rest pulled, ending up with full dentures, upper and lower. After spending three years with two other dental firms and having three different sets of dentures made, I still could not wear my bottom dentures and was reduced to eating only soft foods for the last three years. I was very frustrated and my diet was not healthy. Then I heard about Dr. Gross at Healthy Smile. He has been doing implants for decades and even teaches other dentists at Case Western Reserve. I have a long history of bite problems (all started when one dentist shaved off a molar cusp) which causes me constant discomfort. Iv’e been to 30 different “top dentists” over the past 20 years. Cleaning and crown replacement process - I had not been to the dentist for quite some time, and Dr. Gross made me feel at ease. He explained everything about the process and the price up front instead of surprising me at the end as others have done. The only pain I felt was my mouth being stretched which can not be helped. He is very careful to make sure that the anesthetic was sufficient (I tend to take a little longer to numb than some). I would definitely recommend him to others.

Dr. Gross did a couple of root canals for me back in early 2000s and everything seemed fine up until 3-4 years ago. I started having horrible pain on one of the tooths and it didn't make sense since I had the root canal done. It turns out that once the root canal was done, it wasn't filled all the way, thus allowing for water and food to come in causing the infection. I went to a specialist and he showed me with before and after x-rays what the problem was. That cost me about $1000 and it looks like the same thing was happening with the other tooth, too, which will probably cost me even more. I don't know what the explanation would be for not filling the canal all the way to the top, but it sounds to me like he was rushing or saving on material. If it was only one tooth, I would think it was an accident, but the second one makes me think otherwise. So I have no issues with the work done here just the communication. I called in to let staff know I was running late and asked if I should reschedule, staff let me know the dental hygienist would give me a call when she was done with her current appointment. Well I drove all the way there as I didn't get a call. I was 5 minutes late for the appointment overall. After five or six trips to Jeffery’s office I am very comfortable giving him and his staff five stars. I knew within 20 minutes of my first visit that I had found my new dentist. Everyone here is friendly and knowledgeable and skilled at their work. Jeffery also went to bat for me with the insurance company who decided they weren’t going to cover as much as they originally would. Within five minutes of learning about this Jeffery came back and told me the insurance company agreed to pay the additional $776.00 they were trying to bill for. Amazing! My experience here was great. I had never been to a dentist office and ended up having wisdom teeth removed my first time there. It went very smooth and dr. A quick shout out regarding my most recent visit with Dr. Gross...I was pleasantly surprised that he advised that I didn't need any work done on my teeth!! (There had been a question about some possible reworking of fillings). How nice to walk out of the office with a clean bill of dental health and no $ out of pocket. That hasn't happened very often in my experience, so I'm a happy camper.

Dr. Gross has been my dentist for many years. He goes beyond measure to save a tooth and my results have always been excellent. He is considerate of my time and begins a procedure the day a problem is detected. He is compassionate and well trained and has never had to refer me to another Dr because he does it all. I would refer him without reservation and I hope that he continues to practice for as long as I need him. He loves his work and loves helping others.

I must admit this is the best place I have been to. I came in with pain and left feeling much better. The staff is great along with Dr. Gross. Very happy with my visit!

Overall Good; They seem to have a genuine interest in helping people who are uncomfortable with having their mouth invaded.

Dr. Gross has been my dentist for quite some time and I have found him to be honest, compassionate and a great dentist. Always up on the latest technique or developing the latest on his own.

I am very grateful to Dr. Gross! I am the patient that is terrified of the dentist! I'm not exaggerating the terrified part. I've actually run out of the dentist office before. I actually walked in with a smile. His gentle and knowledgeable manner made me feel at peace (I could NEVER say that before). I had to get some crowns on the front and they look GREAT. I can actually go back to work where before I've had to take off full days, not just for pain but also time spent. The equipment and his able hands made this the most efficient crown process I've ever had and I have plenty of crowns! I'll be going there for a cleaning which I haven't had in a decade due to fear. Dr Gross' office has always been able to take care of my dental emergencies quickly. I recently had a root canal/crown, and am happy with the work done. Dr Gross makes sure your aware of your options and the cost.

Dr Gross and his professional staff have been excellent! The hygienist are exceptional, and he gets the job done with machine like perscision. He has done a crown for me excellently and, painlessly . A dental professional highly recommended that I contact Dr. Gross when I needed some extensive restoration work after two jaw surgeries and orthodontics. I followed that advice and am glad that I did. Dr. Gross is very professional and he developed a treatment plan that was well thought out and explained. I feel that the work was executed very meticulously with excellent results! Also, his staff made me feel welcomed and at ease. There always seems to be a good banter between the doc & staff.
