Dr. Eckman is the most thorough Doctor I’ve ever had. He welcomes questions and takes the time to explain to you in layman terms. He will also illustrate what’s going on in your body. He does all of this with efficiency. The office staff is exceptional as well.

Love Dr Eckman! He professional, great sense of humor and a great doctor. Smart too!

Dr. Eckman is everything you look for in a primary healthcare physician; he is very thorough and gives you all the information you need to make sound decisions regarding your health. He always outlines pros and cons to any medication being prescribed and often points to studies to validate results. Without a doubt have and will continue to recommend him.

It's too bad that last reviewer gave the doctor 3 stars and not the office. My wife and I have been seeing Dr. Eckman for many years now and cannot imagine going somewhere else. He has our trust, which is critical. He is always forward thinking. Doing all the testing he feels necessary to keep us healthy and is all about preventative medicine. I have had a heart attack and two PE"S, so I have a history of doctor's care. We have suggested Dr. Eckman to others and some of our friends see him also. Whoever is at the front desk needs to be reprimanded. Daughter made an appt. fasting all day . Was told dr. Could not see her because of insurance and she could not self pay. Should have been verified before she was asked to come in. She spent all day fasting and driving from east Akron to fairlawn. Only to be turned away. I have been a patient for years and so has my daughter. I don’t appreciate my family treated so unprofessionaly. Whoever is at the front desk needs to be reprimanded. Dr. Eckman is the BEST !!!!!!!! He is very thorough without being an alarmist. He is kind. He is factual, and he is easy to talk with. His staff is absolutely wonderful, too. Dr Eckman listens to patient concerns and issues. He is empathetic and offers explanations about his plan of care. The office staff is very kind and understanding about the need for immediate appointments when necessary!
