Not sure where the negative reviews came from. I've been treated like family since day one. Never once had any issues and the Dr is the only reason I am able to walk today. Highly recommend!

I have been coming to this office for 40 years . That alone says how great this doctor is. The staff is fantastic and very helpful. My whole family comes here and have been kept healthy and happy . Horrible service in general. RUDE staff and a Dr that should’ve hung up the stethoscope years ago! Doesn’t care for much other than the monthly payment. If I could give Dr Chaitoff zero stars I would. I had to give him one star to write this review. My father really needed his help and he was incredibly rude - not professional at all. I would never recommend this doctor.

Honestly, the most unprofessional office and physician I've ever encountered. Through my appointments I had to listen to his marital issues, their vacations (the earthquake in Hawaii story) and her alleged mental issues. If you are a suboxone or buprenorphine patient, please don't waste your time here.The staff and Chaitoff will bully you, threaten you and hold your recovery over your head. I sought assistance in finding pharmaceutical help with my RX coverage from the front office ladies (they are actually overweight, miserable, unhappy cows -there I said it) only to receive a letter the practice was dropping me after 6 years. And thank God they did. I found an amazingly understanding physician who did not stigmatize addiction. (Dr. Matthew Pawlick UH in Chardon). Lol, a year later Dr. Chaitoff interrupted me and my date at a Little Italy restaurant, seemingly drunk, asking me if he knew me. Dr. Chaitoff is a weirdo. Not a good fit

Dr Chaitoff is a wonderful caring physician. Anyone seeking an internist, or arthritis specialist should feel extremely lucky to be able to be a patient if his. A very empathetic caring physician. Also he treats opioid addiction in a very understanding, supportive way.

Office staff is VERY VERY VERY RUDE AND LESS THAN PROFESSIONAL !! I SAW THIS DR BEFORE I WAS REFERRED TO HIM BY MY PHYSICIAN. TO GO SEE HIM AGAIN FOR RHEUMATOLOGY, went in as suggested by the Dr for aches and pains I was having gen he did bld work checked me for vit D deficiency etc I went back as recommended. Didn't have a bad experience with him really. But now when I called to come back the receptionist stated he didn't want to see me again for some reason but did not say why. She was VERY VERY VERY RUDE AND TALKED TO ME NASTY. I normally don’t write reviews, but unfortunately I never thought I could be this disappointed in a doctor. I have had severe neck, shoulder, and shoulder blade pain for more than 7 years as well as several other symptoms. I rarely go to a doctor unless I can’t handle the pain anymore and want to discover the cause of the pain. I was prepared to talk about all of my main symptoms with Dr. Chaitoff. It was my first visit with a rheumatologist and I didn’t know what to expect, but I was optimistic and hoped to find some answers. He barely asked me for my symptoms or family history of arthritis in several family members. He talked down to me and was very unprofessional. He offered to prescribe pain medication without knowing the cause of the pain. He then proceeded to offer me depression medication when I never mentioned having depression. Also, he asked me if he answered all of my questions and I was honest with him and told him no because he didn’t address a single reason of why I came to him. He was just in a hurry to get onto his next patient instead of actually trying to help me discover what was going on with my the joints near my neck, back, hip, etc. The least he could do was request more blood tests or imaging of the problem areas. Been my doctor for 30 years, he does a great job and I appreciate all his help and advise throughout the years. Very professional and the staff are wonderful as well

Unethical service. Withdraws services once he feels your life may be in jeopardy. Would not recommend his service to anyone.

I had dislocated my thumb. Then another time I broke and tore a ligament in my little toe. Each time he said I would be ok. He didn't do anything to try to help me! Now I have to have surgery to fix both problems because I can't use my thumb and have trouble walking. He was like that with any problem we had. The doctors treating me now asked me if I ever saw a doctor for these problems. I said, "yes he told me I would be ok". They just shake their head in disbelief. Never helped us! TERRIBLE Dr. ! I have been a patient of dr Jeffrey CHAITOFF for over 3 years, the office girls are very friendly, they get you in quickly when needed. Dr. CHAITOFF sits and really listens to you and he helps you with your problems. Never had a bad experience.

Dr. Chaitoff is an excellent physician. He diagnosed my rheumatology related problem quickly and compassionately. My primary care physician referred me to him and I am glad I went. Other Rheumatologist have a wait list for appointments up to four months. I was able to make an apt within a few weeks of calling. He also does his own ultrasounds in the office. No facility fee snuck in like the hospitals charge. I would highly recommend calling him for an appt.

Dr Chaitoff was able to answer all of my questions. He was very informative about my Rheumatoid arthritis and had a great plan for my treatment. His staff was excellent. Very attentive and helpful when I need to call the office they are able to get me in immediately.

After going to CCF specialists with no luck and trip to hospital, Dr. Chaitoff finally diagnosed the issue. He is very accommodating to get me into office in an emergency. He always remembers me and what he has seen me for.

I was a suboxone patient of his and recently dismissed because of being falsely accused of leaving a urine sample in the exam room. My appointment was at 10:45 am and I was told by a nurse that wasn't even there that I was the only patient that had been in that exam room. When I arrived only the desk girl was working doing everyone's job and atleast 2 patients were already in exam rooms. While I waited 3 more patients went back.I live an hour away from this office so when I was told by my pharmacist that I needed to return to the office and my prescription was being held until I did so I immediately called the office to find out the what the issue was.The receptionist was rude and told me I needed to come back and do another urine test I was confused but told her I would come back but it would take atleast half an hour for me to get there. A few minutes later I called again because I was seriously confused as to why I needed to do another i was angrily told that I had left a urine sample in the exam room and needed to do another one because they believed I brought it in from the outside. When I arrived there were police in the parking lot waiting for me.I went into the office and was told to remove all my clothing and put on a paper gown then the receptionist went into the bathroom with me where I had no problem giving them a new sample. The new sample was exactly the same as the first as I knew it would be! No drugs in my system! When I questioned what was going on and why I was being accused of this I was told to find a new doctor I did nothing wrong and instead of admitting that they had made a mistake I was treated horribly by all staff and escorted out by the police! EMILY I DON'T KNOW HOW YOU CAN SLEEP AT NIGHT! You made this mistake and won't come forth and tell the truth! You people are only in it for the money and I hope your license to practice gets taken away. Dr. Chaitoff and his little receptionist are rude and do not want to help with anything other than taking money from a patients hand. Helping with prior authorizations is out of the question. I was told not to call their office back to call my pharmacy. News flash, my pharmacy can't give my insurance company the information they need. I do not recommend going to this rude and arrogant doctor's office. If you are in the business of treating patients you need to be willing to help them!
