The support staff are good, however, Dr. Carroll could not have cared less on my post op visit. I told him I was in a lot of pain. He could not have cared less. He said, “no pain , no gain” ! I will not recommend him to anyone. No bedside manor. No care for pain on day 9. He said “take an aspirin”. I do not have a headache! Frank Syoen.

Horrible experience from start to now. I would say finish but my husband has no relief whatsoever. My husband has now undergone 2 operations trying to fix his knee. He had developed cysts and severe arthritis at the young age of 45. With an initial knee replacement, because that was the best option and weeks of Physical therapy the knee was not healing properly and range of motion never came back for him to walk well. He was unable to straighten his leg with a lot of force. Went under the knife again to force the leg straight with a manipulation and told post OP still couldn’t get it straight. Was told to continue with PT for 4 weeks in hopes of some progress. Before final follow up appointment with Dr. Carroll he was told by Physical Therapist that there isn’t much else they can do. My husband can barely walk and function in life because of it. And at the final appointment with Dr. He says he may not ever be able to get it straight to walk correctly. His multi figure salary’s best advice is “Continue with therapy for 30 more days and see me again in 3 months and we’ll go from there”. Now all the while we’ve said something isn’t right. He is worse than before surgery and we don’t get any resolution. Not to mention the long term affects gimping around on 1 leg will do for his other knee and hip. He is a young man with a young family that he’d like to participate in functions with and just walk properly and nobody cares. When will he ever get relief Dr. ???!!!!?????

Dr.Jeffrey was excellent. He explained and wrote down my options for surgical and non- surgical options. Check-in was a little unsettling but the experience with Dr Jeffrey was stellar.

I’ve seen Dr. Carroll and Dr. Williams, both are fabulous doctors. The staff at Movement Orthopedics are friendly, helpful and very professional. I strongly recommend you visit the office for any orthopedic issues.

This doctor can't give you a diagnosis without costly MRI and/or suggest surgery..(..just to exploit your insurance coverage). Doesn't treat your pain & discomfort. What kind of treatment is that? Office staff appears to be "special needs" when it comes to conduct. This casts a very dark shadow on orthopedics if they all use the same or similar techniques when seeing new patients. Why would anyone go?

"Assembly-line" treatment, or the lack thereof.. Primary goal: Run up insurance cost by unnecessary referrals for MRI's and unnecessary surgery to "just take a look." No real physical contact or real diagnosis from series of xrays, office staff obnoxious at best. No bedside manner. Why would anyone seek out this doctor when you're in pain and discomfort, especially when your health and the care of it is the farthest thing from their agenda. Just like so many and too many physicians these days. So desperate for money.

Never met Dr. Jeffrey in two visits for my broken clavicle and couldn’t get a clear recommendation from the NP or meaningful pros/cons on waiting for the bone to heal, how long of a wait was too long before deciding to do surgery, etc. Instead, there was a lot of “you could do that.” They only used the single angle x ray from urgent care for my first visit which didn’t show the amount of displacement or bone fragments. Not sure why they didn’t take their own with multiple angles. Had a much better experience with helpful information and a clear recommendation elsewhere. Movement still billed my insurance $1875 for two ten minute conversations with the NP. Found out about this place from a poster at recreation center. Took a chance for knee pain. Saw me in a short amount of time. Have been back for a foot condition as well. In total have been to the office 3 times. Treated with dignity and a respect for my time every visit. Very professional staff. I highly recommend their practice.

Went here for a knee sports injury and dr. Jeffrey Carroll was beyond amazing. I’ve dislocated my knee in the past and the service at a different place was nothing compared to here. I would recommend 10/10 every time. Never been here before, they scheduled us an appointment same day and we filled out paperwork and saw the doctor within 15 mins. Very fast & the dr. Answered every question with ease, and taught us more than we even asked. It was great!! Felt like they actually cared about our injury rather than rushing out the door. I fell and ended up with a pilon fracture. Dr. Carroll did an amazing job with my surgery! I have been following up a lot with Jeff the NP and I can't say enough good things about him. I called Friday I was there by 9:30 Saturday morning

At my 8th week appointment for a broken humerus my appointment was made with the nurse practitioner. I thought I was going to see dr. Carroll. When I questioned this the receptionist told me he doesn’t see patient’s at the 3rd appointment so he can see his new patients. They should tell people this as I feel I should be seeing the doctor I chose and not a nurse.. They also didn’t take xrays at this appointment also as I felt they should have to see if I was fully healed. Too be fair I’m not saying the nurse was incompetent I’m just saying when you make an appointment you think it’s with the doctor so tell your patients who it’s with and let them decide who they want to see after all we are the one who are paying the bill.

Dont wast your time here they will start your operation without all the necessary tools and when you wake up from the surgery there is only one nurse to tell you he couldn't do it and jeff had already left the building. Most unprepared surgeon

I tore my ACL (full tear), and I am so happy I chose Dr. Carroll. The whole process from intake to surgery to post op went very well. Office staff was very nice and very little wait time in waiting room. Pain management was excellent, and I attribute my post op surgery comfort to Dr Carroll skillful hand. I was walking without crutches by day 11. Their providers (PT) are top notch as I did pre-PT and post op PT. I like how the offices work closely together and are close in proximity (across the hall.) The phone app they provide to stay in touch with their patients post op is a nice add-on and Dr Carroll responds quickly to questions. Other features as onsite urgent care, onsite x-ray machine, onsite high end coffee machine, and optional surgery center versus hospital are other little touches that make the experience convenient and pleasant. I love this office!! The time you wait is very minimal, the X-ray tech is the sweetest person! My husband, myself and my daughter have all seen the NP, Dr. Jeffery Mundt and we love him!! He has helped all of us! I was nervous in the beginning seeing him since he was not the doctor...but he really knows his stuff and you get in quicker which is a great alternative Dr. Jeffery Carroll provides. I had problem with my elbow, he helped me with that and I am back to new :), my husband had problem with his knees and he is doing fantastic, he helped him...my daughter had problem with her knees and Dr. Mundt actually found a tumor in my daughters femur (which had nothing to do with the knee so THANK GOD HE WENT THE EXTRA MILE while doing his exam) she ended up having to have emergency surgery with a cancer specialist they were kind enough to find and set-up over at Beaumont Hospital. They also have a very nice coffee machine that everyone seems to enjoy while waiting :). I had knee replacement surgery and my care from Dr. Carroll was great I went to Beaumont Grosse Pointe Hospital and the care was great there surgery went well woke up with no pain in my knee I was amazed because six and a half years ago I had surgery and my left knee and there was pain when I woke up and also this knee replacement mechanically works much better they have improved knees overtime for mechanically working better it was just amazing to me how much different from 6 and 1/2 years to now 2019 from 2013 the difference of the technology of the knee replacements mechanically am I excited to see my results my results were better than my first one which was in my left knee dr. I am pleased with my experience at Movement Orthopedics. The office staff is friendly and Dr. Carroll is knowledgeable , thorough and kind. He takes the time to discuss any and all options that are available to resolve your medical issues. I was nervous/apprehensive finding out that I needed surgery to repair a torn rotator cuff but he reassured me what to expect & a month later true to his word I have no regret; although a lengthy, tender recovery I'm glad I followed through.

Don't waste your time here. Go somewhere where the staff actually knows what they are doing and is knowledgeable when it comes to insurance. Front desk staff also has attitude and very rude when asking questions. Be prepared to wait a long time in the waiting area and rooms. This was my home away from home for 8 weeks for my physical therapy. I was in room #150. Adam and Jodi treat you like you're their family and every PT Tech there is amazing as well. Kara, Katie, Abby, and Ryan were amazing and led me to healing. You guys are amazing and after leaving I wish I didnt have to. Every time I came in I was greeted by my first name and treated like #1! Now that I've had my surgery I want to review. From day 1 the office staff have been amazing, so friendly and caring. The NP has been nothing but great as well. She is the best NP that I have ever ran across as she truly cares about her patients needs. Dr. Carroll listens to any questions or concerns that you may have and answers them thoroughly. He makes sure that you understand what is going on before you even leave the office. The day of surgery went so smoothly. Last May Dr. Carroll repaired a torn meniscus and cleaned up some floating cartilage in my knee. I was off crutches within 48 hours with full range of motion. I was so impressed that he is the only one that I considered for my upcoming (2/25/19) hip replacement surgery. His staff is very friendly and patient. Prior to my knee surgery, I had multiple injections in my knee for the pain by his Nurse Practitioner Ashley Bowden, and didn’t feel a single one of them. I HIGHLY recommend them.

I am beyond grateful that I took my son to see Dr Carroll when others told me that my child was exaggerating his pain! Indeed there was a break(that another Dr missed) and put into a cast!! Dr Carroll was so good with my son & his staff was amazing! I can't recommend him enough!!

I was an outpatient I had surgery on my knee. I experienced a very nice staff.,I was prescribed medication before the surgery that I wouldn't have to worry about how was I going to get it after. I am now going through therapy three times a week. Which is a very good experience .

Dr. Carroll went over my mri and explained what he would do in surgery. After two weeks pain is minimal and I am walking. The daily email questioneer was extremely helpful. The staff was amazing also. I highly recommend Dr.Carroll.

Dr carrol operated on my right knee and he did a awesome job, I was and moving in 2 days. The follow up is something I have never had before and I have had a lot of surgeries . I always recommend Dr. Carroll when anyone asks or needs an Ortho. I am currently under his care for a torn Meniscus. and two years ago I had ACL surgery by him. He is great and I love his staff. If you need an orthopedic surgeon look no further, this is your guy. His right hand, Ashley is just as outstanding.

We love Dr Carroll, my daughter Emily had many soccer injuries and my husband was on workman’s comp for his arm injury who gave him only 30% recovery for function in his arm and aft Carroll gave him 100% function back. I wish my younger daughter could see him for her hand injury, workman’s comp dr did surgery but her ring finger still will not go down normal and she works at Belle Island and does slot of landscaping work and it causes a bit of challenge. Have been going to Dr Carroll since 2012. He's a amazing doctor and surgeon.

Dr Carroll and staff were prompt, professional, courteous and knowledgeable. I would definitely recommend their services.

My experience was great. My surgery was scheduled quickly. I was often checked on by staff.

I tore my shoulder up from an accident at work, So dealing with Workers comp was always a hassle. Especially when having to go through Concentra Offices. Was not fun to deal with them at all! However, towards the end of it I finally got assigned Dr. Carroll. I could not be happier with him! Right off the bat Dr. Carroll made sure that I was going to get the care that I needed right away. I had to get surgery on my shoulder and could not believe how quickly his staff was able to get me scheduled to go into a quick outpatient procedure. I was in and out and headed home within 5 - 6 hours. Dr. Carroll and his staff checked in with me EVERY DAY! after surgery until about 2 weeks later during the post opp appointment. Then it was every couple days to check on me. Could not believe the attentiveness and attention I was receiving from this office. Could not be more grateful to have gone through Dr. Carroll's office! Dr Carroll and staff are all amazing. Never had to wait to see the doctor always on time always asked if I had any questions or concerns, a a partial knee replacement and had the new robotic machine and the zip ties instead of staples have to have right knee done and going to have dr Carroll do that one as well.

Very friendly. Set me at ease involving the procedure. Has a plan for my recovery and helps me stick to it.

Dr. Carroll is himself a good Dr. BUT, a select few of his staff are terrible! I have been trying to get information for my insurance to see if I can be covered for a procedure. REPEATEDLY I have been told "We'll call you" and NEVER get the call. Dr. Carroll is a very good, but there are enough good Dr.s out there that have good staff for me to put up with that. Sorry Dr. Carroll, your staff cost you three additional surgeries I would have had you perform.

I would recommend Dr. Carroll. I found him to be extremely knowledgeable, and professional. He tried a few strategies to determine the best method of treatment, and moved quickly to get me to better health. His staff is also very friendly.

I have been seeing Dr Carroll since 2009 fot osteoarthritis in both my knees. I have been very happy with his care. However his staff is very inconsistent and inconsiderate I have called everyday for weeks now trying to get someone to fill out my short term disability paperwork correctly. I have left message after message no one returns my calls. When I do talk to someone they say oh so and so is doing your paperwork today and I will call you back and read it to you. So unprofessional

Dr Carroll was seen because I had a TKR done a year before that was causing continuous pain. He did tests and found that the titanium was bothering me,my previous doctor was told I was allergic to metal and he said I would be fine. I also couldnt get more than 70 degree extension on that knee because it was too big. Dr Carroll did my left knee first and that knee is now at 120 degree extension and wonderful. My right knee is recovering at so far 100 degrees after 10 days. Both are ceramic now.
