Dr. Jeffrey A Carlisle

So i had PRK with Dr. Carlisle earlier this year in March. The surgery was successful but I felt like Dr. Carlisle was kinda short with me while I was in the operating room. He didn't make me feel comfortable. My left eye was twitching a lot bc i was nervous and I was blinking and i guess he had to start over. When we went to do the other eye, he was giving instructions almost like he was frustrated and telling me to keep my eye open and he literally said 'just focus on the orange light, it's not that hard' .It kinda made me feel a little dumb b/c this was a scary experience for me, even though this surgery was something i elected to do. Like the whole surgery was ten minutes long anyways, so he didn't need to sound so condescending. You might do this everyday, but I sure don't But as stated previously, the surgery was successful and no complications. I just would have appreciated a more understanding tone

The staff was very warm, friendly, and took excellent care of me. Dr. Carlisle is a very bright, honest, and caring doctor that I would travel to any office to see. He and the other specialists at Thomas Eye Group that I've had to see in the past are the best in the business.

Fantastic at explaining and could not have a better bedside manner. One of the best doctors in ATL Only problem was trying to contact the optical Dept. the answering service corp. office is worthless. It was urgent and I didn't speak with anyone for 2 days & multiple tries

I had Lasik surgery less than a month ago from Dr. Carlisle and I'm seeing incredible. I was seeing 20/20 at my post op the next day and it's really the best thing I've ever done for myself. He is terrific.

I went to a few different places when I was considering LASIK and Thomas Eye Group made me feel the most comfortable. Dr. Carlisle is a great surgeon and my LASIK was a success. I'm seeing better now than when I had glasses. I'm very thankful for Thomas Eye Group and Dr. Carlisle.

He is an amazing LASIK surgeon. He answered all my questions and really put me at ease before my surgery. Know have fantastic vision! Thanks Dr.Carlisle.
