DO NOT HAVE A PROCEDURE WITH THIS OFFICE THAT USES DMH'S SCOPES FOR URETERS. I have reasons to believe it is contaminated with superbugs that once are introduced into the bladder, they will never be eradicated. This happened exactly to my mother. Before the stent placement, no infection with pseudomonas. After stent placement using a scope--infection that she can't get rid of. This office just denies that this ever happened, so sounds like to me they are not going to get a new scope or find an efffective way to clean it. Diagnostic scopes are notoriously difficult to clean properly, and pseudomonas just goes resistant to everything, so I can see how this can be. But this office not addressing it just puts everyone who has that scope inserted in their bodies at risk for a deadly infection. Great office. Canham has done multiple procedures on me and has been great. I see Jeremy Good his PA, and love his level of expertise and knowledge is wonderful. Always goes above and beyond. Nursing and office staff is also so great and welcoming and helpful.

DO NOT GET ANY TREATMENT OR DIAGNOSIS THAT USES A SCOPE IN THE URETER WITH THIS PRACTICE. It is contaminated with Pseudomonas, a highly resistant super bug that once it infects the bladder, it cannot be eradicated. My mother acquired this bug after her treatment at DMH as an outpatient. She did not have this in her bladder before going to this practice. I tried to tell the staff it's a problem, but all I get is denial and half-truths.
