Jeffrey Scott Burnell

Unkind and inpatient, he has jumped around a couple of times to new practices and I think there is a reason for it. He is not someone I would recommend.

i saw him as my regular dr. was out. He was running late but still saw me and spent the time necessary discussing problem and resolution. I found him to be a good listener and problem solver. I was very satisfied.

I like a doctor who tells it like it is and doesn't let patients get away with bullsh_t. He's real and upfront and won't sugar coat anything. I respect that. Let's face it, patients don't always tell doctors the whole truth; I felt like I could trust him with all the facts and he wouldn't judge. He was always looking for solutions outside the box. I'm just sad he quit his previous practice and left patients in a lurch. I had to scramble to find a new doctor and we all know how hard it can be to find a good one.

He is so kind and decent person...

Dr. Burnell seems knowledgeable, and he listened very well. I have just switched from my pediatrician, and I've been on a medication for over a year. Dr. Burnell was understanding in keeping me on the same meds, but made it clear he was willing to try new things to help me potentially find better options. He made me feel very comfortable. He also took time to get to know me since it was my first visit with him.

Dr. Burnell listened carefully to my concerns and addressed them all in a very compelling way. I went in really nervous and worried and afterward I felt relief. I would definitely recommend! I registered as a new patient and was able to be seen the next day! Most offices are booking months in advance so I feel really lucky that I found such a great doctor to work with in a fast and timely manner.

This office has gone down hill. I left work early to bring my kid to apt. Takes me 30 min to get home and then pick up my kid. We get to apt to be told she can't be seen bc I was a few min late d/t traffic. The receptionist was a smug little @#$& who looked about 12. I also work in the medical field so I know how people should be treated. Everytime I schedule they have to check with the doctor before I can schedule or schedule both of my kids at the same time. Doesn't it make sense to bring in two kids on same day rather than separate days? Apparently, they can't figure out scheduling in that place. Sad, I have been going there for 18+ yrs. I never write negative reviews but each time I saw Dr. Burnell, I got a condescending vibe from him, only to find out that he is no longer in practice at this facility. Received no communication about this from his office. Less than impressed.

I went to burnell for over 3 years he is the most miserable person I have ever called my doctor, and I don't think he should practice medicine anywhere. He is a quack!!

We followed him to his new practice when he left his old one because he is the type of Dr you want in your corner. His approach is reasonable and his "bedside manner" brought me to tears - in a good way! I appreciated the way he spoke to my husband - with respect and kindness. He mentioned some changes that might benefit my husband, but he told him in a respectful way, not like he was reprimanding a rebellious child.

Dr. Burnell is a down to earth, tell it like it is, no messing around great doctor. He has gotten my health back to near normal.

Dr. Burnell was very good and helpful. He got straight to the point. I want a Dr. That is sure of himself. He never steered me wrong.

Dr. Jeffrey Burnell is very stern, and abrupt, and sometimes downright rude. He asked me to explain something and 1 sentence in, he interrupted with a sharp/biting comment. I have seen him about 5 times, and he has brought me to tears with his unkind bedside manner 4 out of those 5 times. He can at times make you feel as though you are a piece of human garbage that is wasting his incredibly important time. However, the one visit that he didn't make me cry, and speak to me as though I was worthless in every sense of the word, he did a decent job with a manipulation and advice on the issue I was there for. But for this patient, 1 out of 5 does NOT make a good doctor. He has a large ego, little patience, and no bedside manner. Do yourself a favor and see any of the other doctors at his office, as they are all leaps and bounds ahead of him in empathy, class, and courtesy.

I have not had any of the negative experiences people have written here. Dr Burnell was extremely attentive, helpful and encouraging. He had some simple advice to help me deal with several long term problems. Sometimes getting healthy requires sacrifice and lifestyle adjustments and perhaps some don't like being told honest truths by a professional.

Dr Burnell is a great doctor..He takes the time to answer all your concerns and is very polite..I would recommend him to everybody..

If you want a doctor with a huge ego that doesn't care about you he's your man. My advice is look elsewhere.

I agree with others. Seems like he knows his stuff ( and he'll tell you that he does- huge head ) but is so abrasive at times, you never want to step foot in there again. Then he couldn't figure out why I hadn't been there for a while-it's you, not me. Even told me that he went to med school? Really?! You never know who you're going to get on a given day. Never seemed to want to REALLY listen to me. Staff seemed to change every time I went in there, too. Can't keep people? He's young and smart but not experienced enough when it comes to dealing with people. Some people are just book smart. If you want to feel belittled and stupid, he's your guy.

Dr Burnell is very helpful with helping me understand what was going on with me. Very understanding and compassionate.

Dr. Burnell is rude I agree with other reviewers. He scolded both myself and my husband as if we were little children - I would say find another

I agree. VERY ABRASIVE. His bedside manner must be that of a hungry shark.

Very understanding, patient and kind. I would definitely recommend Dr. Burnell.

Dr. Burnell is very abrasive. Seems pretty sharp, but behaves like a moody child with a massive chip on his shoulder.
