Very good. Dr. Bowers is attentive, knowledgeable, and a seasoned professional. He is easy to communicate with, listens, and does not seem to be in a hurry to go on the the next patient.

Echoing the statements of others.... I felt very uncomfortable with Dr Bowers. Without introducing himself he didn’t even realize that I have a masters degree and spoke to me as if I was a child. When I tried to explain my past medical history and current concerns he became very loud and rude. At one point he stood up and hovered over me (while I was sitting) while speaking loudly at me about his opinions... which made me feel very intimidated and uncomfortable. When I politely mentioned this it only seemed to make him more agitated. It seems he doesn’t enjoy his job anymore and finds it to be more of an annoyance. He doesn’t make you feel as though he truly cares for your wellbeing. Probably time to retire at this point. He made me feel as though I was a time slot and a number.. and not a human being. Based off of a few experiences at the Bangor PCHC I do not recommend Dr Bowers at all. I left feeling scared and as though I wouldn’t get the medical help I need and deserve.

Over the course of 15 years I have seen many doctors and specialists. This man stands out as by far the most unprofessional and most infuriating person I’ve ever had to deal with. When I met him I introduce myself and he didn’t even say hello and was not friendly at all. He was extremely rude and pretentious, and talked down to me the entire time. He refused to provide me with the proper and adequate basic healthcare service that I needed and caused me to delay A crucial procedure for three months. I do not recommend this Doctor. He is very unprofessional and will make you feel very uncomfortable. He will put his ego ahead of your health needs.

Dr. Bowers and his staff have always treated me very well. He has been my general practionist for about 3 years. The stafc is curtious and efficient. Very rarely do I have to wait long to see thr doctor and having a lab on site for bloodwork really speeds up the process. If you want a doctor that over prescribes medication, he is not your man. Dr. Bowers will often tell you to try excersice or a healthy diet. I believe the world could use more doctors and friendly office staffs like this one.

I felt, as if I was 1. Being mocked, 2. I was in a few words or less , made to feel like a junkie , complaining of pain, anxiety , and seeking diet pills, even though, I mentioned none of these things. 3. Every time I tried to get a word in, I was immediately cut off short, if I did manage to finish a sentence, it was discredited. 4. Overall, I felt attacked, belittled, humiliation, and left feeling as if the concerns that led me in there to his office , were dismissed and minimized to the inth

Dr. Bowers accepted me as a patient even though he had stopped taking new patients based on a family recommendation. He spent over an hour with me answering / asking questions and looking through my medical records. He was very knowledgeable on the discussed topics, much more so than most.

I love Dr. Bowers!! He is a very compassionate doctor who takes time to listen to me and addresses whatever is going on. He is very encouraging and caring. I love the staff that works there. From the front desk to the nurses, all are very sweet and kind!!

Dr. Bowers is the worse doctor I have ever been to. Not only did he not physically look at me, he wouldn't listen to what I said. If you value your health at all don't see him.
