Mr. Jeffery T Alford

I have been a patient of Dr. Alford for many years, as have members of my family. I’m not a part of his concierge program but still receive great care. Regarding the review that said you have to be of a certain race to get good care, I’ll just say I see a variety of races the office for visits and again, I myself am not part of the concierge program and am very satisfied with the care.

Dr. Alford and his staff give my family amazing and compassionate care.

Dr. Alford has been our family physician for over 20 years. He is a good listener with excellent bedside manners. He ask questions, have a sense of humor and is honest. I always feel like I can share all of my concerns and he expects you to participate in the process.

If you aren't rich enough to be his concierge patient don't bother. The rich white people get the best service from him.

Nice office personnel and very professional. My second time here and the staff is always laughing and smiling, beautiful people. The Dr. Is a really good person as well and most of all he listens to what you have to say. I'm making this my family physician. God bless you and your staff..

Dr. Alford, Victoria and Nina are superb healthcare experts. They went the extra mile to ensure I could obtain a prescription at a reasonable price. They also make me feel comfortable when I visit. I suffer from "white coat" syndrome and my vitals are always elevated during a visit. Thank you!

Took a physical there. No one called after the blood work was done to go over the results. I called Dr Alford's nurse practitioner and she said I need to setup another appointment to go over the results and its not part of the physical to go over the Physical Test Results. Which means the office will charge again for another office visit. She mentioned the Dr does not call his patients over the phone. Very happy with our care.

In my 71 years I have never had a primary care physician who was more caring than Dr. Alford. He never keeps me waiting, and always takes the time to listen to me explain my concerns. He is gentle and kind and takes the time to get to the source of the problem. I have been his patient since 2009 and trust him with my life. I am a concierge patient, but I am confident that if for some reason I had to cancel my concierge membership, he would treat me no differently than he does now.

I have been going to Dr. Alford for 15 years and I can only say he is an excellent Dr. I see him every 3 to 6 months and have never been disappointed with his demeanor, his methodology, or his accuracy. I highly recommend him to anyone needing a family doctor.

I had several primary care physicians in Sugar Land before finding Dr. Alford almost 15 years ago. I have been very happy with him as my doctor. We did become Concierge patients and the quick access in urgent situations has been very valuable. He is very thorough, does explain his recommendations clearly, is proactive when needed, and refers you to a good specialist at the right time.

Dr. Alford is an exceptionally thorough, caring doctor who spends time with his patients. He truly cares about his patients and follows up after the fact when he has concerns about their health. I have the utmost confidence and trust in him. Only downside is that it can be difficult to get an appointment to see him on short notice unless you are a concierge patient. He does have two PAs, though, and you can usually get in to see one of them on the same day you call.

I started with Dr Alford in Nov 1996 and have never thought of going to any other doctor. He has guided my healthcare to the best I could imagine. My health has provided him with many life preserving problems all of witch were addressed with excellent care. I could not be happier.

I have been seeing Dr. Alford for 19 years. I've never even considered another. The practice of medicine has changed dramatically since then, and he has kept up with it all without losing the personal connection with his patients. He listens well and has a broad knowledge and understanding. He is straightforward and practical, honest, good sense of humor. I joined the concierge program, which has perks, but the quality of his care is the same regardless.

Dr. Alford and my family, go way back.. I can't impress the fact enough, how thorough he is, and how he follows-up with his patients. Excellent Doctor.. Very comprehensive.. Highly recommend.

He is also very knowledgeable about what is covered and not covered for the different insurance plans he accepts. He will tell you during the appointment what is covered and not covered so that you can make an informed decision about your care.

I was a patient of Dr. Alford's for at least 15 years and found him to be a great doctor -- knowledgeable, easy to talk to, very caring, and always willing to spend a much time with me as necessary. I moved to another state not long ago, and miss having him as my physician.

I have never been treated so poorly in my medical history. Within one week I was hung up on 3 different times. When I spoke to the supervisor she got an attitude with me. Her name is Marlene Garcia. I informed her of being hung up on on purpose. She said it was an accident. I have two separate phone lines. How do you accidentally hang up on two different numbers with in minutes by accident. Very rudre. Once I asked for her to take matters into her hands she simply said we will review the call logs. Since I complained the terminatded my patieny/ doctor relationship.Never again will I go there. Save yourself the hassle. They are very rude and mal trained receptionists. I got a referral from the doctor I trust most, my pulmonologist, for a new PCP. I have been with Doctor Alford over a year now. He coordinates ALL of my treatment with Pulmonary, Endocrinologist, Rheumatologist, Orthopedics, Neurologist, and Cardio like I have never seen. He is on the ball with everything I'm going through, has gotten my glucose and weight down, am pulling off of some of my assorted meds, and feel better than I have in decades! He spends a lot of time with me and I never have to wait more than 10 minutes. I left my previous PCP of 20+ years because I could never get in to see him without having to book 3 months ahead. Dr. Alford can usually see me within a day or 2. He is aware of my insurance and which labs they recommend and medications that are preferred by my carrier. I have been a Patient of Dr. Alford's for almost 20 years. He is focused, knowledgeable, and kind. He has always been available when I needed him. Even when my insurance changed and he was not part of my plan, I chose to keep coming because he is just that good.

Went we first started going to him, he cared and was thorough. Then he got a conceirge program and now we rarely see him, only his PA, because we won't pay extra. It's a scam. If he's your doctor, then he's the one who should see you no matter what. You shouldn't have to pay more money on top of what you are already paying. Also he has done thing like losing my husbands mole biopsy, (my husband had to go back and have it redone), and not recording his allergy testing resulting in more expense.

Dr. Jeffery Alford is a wonderful family physician. He treats all patients with compassion and shows a true understanding of any issues discussed with him.
