By far my favorite doctor. He really likes what he does and tries to be nice and funny.

He is great. Very patient. Very friendly. Even my kids like him. He knows what he is doing and he does it well. Would highly recommend him

Dr. Atheli is the best re doctor I have been to. He is so personal, thorough and detail oriented. He walked through every single concern/problem I had about my eyes in much detail and gave me options to solve them. In today's day and age, you really don't see many doctors that actually take the time to understand the patients concerns. Wish I could find a general doctor like him! Hands down one of the very best doctors I have ever had -- AND one of the very best people I've had the pleasure of associating with! My entire family started going to Dr. Athelli several years ago and remain pleasantly impressed and grateful for his knowledge, patience, and stellar "bedside manner." He is top-notch at treating people like PEOPLE! He takes the necessary time to provide a comprehensive exam and, best of all provides explanation and encourages a dialogue, so that we understand and feel comfortable. In the time we've been seeing him, we've had a few urgent eye care situations -- and for each, upon contacting him, he went out of his way to respond and promptly address each situation! He knows how to take care of his patients -- easy to talk to, a pleasure to visit! I just wish there were MORE service providers that shared (and practiced) the same philosophy that he does! Very detailed, very helpful, and extremely kind doctor. Takes the time to address all areas of concern and works to ensure the prescription is correct. I would highly recommend Dr. Athelli. Best optomotrist I've seen in the DC area.

Dr. Jeetandra is detail-oriented, precise, and very warm to talk to. I had to wait a bit to get an appointment, but after more than three decades of glasses in assorted countries with various doctors, this was the best visit I've had. He was patient with my photosensitivity and the resulting prescription is the sharpest of my life. Absolutely going back for next exam. Wow...Dr. Athelli is indeed a very patient (sic!) and kind doctor. I got my first pair of glasses couple of months back and I had trouble getting used to it. I called the doctor's office yesterday and was given an appointment for today afternoon. Doctor spent almost an hour with me retesting my vision and trying to make sure I get the right glasses (I have a rare vision deficiency). All through the visit, the doctor was very warm and kind. He took time to explain what is going on and finally he gave me another prescription. He didn't charge me a dime for the visit! And then I go to my optical store and show them the new prescription. The lady there said I was out of the free replacement period, BUT she agreed to do the new glasses for free because she herself was a patient of Dr. Athelli! She said she has been going to Dr. Athelli for a while and he is always very nice to the patients. He is friendly, thorough and accommodating. An intellect with good conversations. Would recommend him to everyone even kids.
