I have been a patient of Dr. Pillay for 9 years. He was my attending physician at Huron Valley Hospital when diagnosed with cancer. He has coached me through cancer, a heart condition and diabetes. He always takes as much time as I need to understand my options and is an excellent communicator. His notes posted to my patient portal are thorough and a great reference when seeing specialists. His office and nursing staff are responsive, friendly, kind and competent.

I have been with Dr. Pillay since he came to Walled Lake. I have referred many people to him. I like his thoroughness and his willingness to work with me.

Nursing staff was terrible. The doctor didnt listen to my concerns. Also met him through huron valley hospital. Sent me bills even when i had insurance and was covered. Computers are always down. I would look elsewhere before seeing this doctor.

Saw this doctor at Huron Valley hospital. He was arrogant and judgemental. Didn't listen to my complaints as to why I was there. Repeated wrong information...nothing even close to what I said. Acted like I was exaggerating. Then when medical tests confirmed I was truthful, wanted to know how it got so bad (my medical condition). Made me feel like he was doing me a favor. I don't get it. Why did he become a doctor? To pass judgement and act annoyed or to help others.
