Dr. Jeannine A. Villella

Dr. Villella is a dream. She worked with me to meet with me as soon as possible when a surprise massive tumor was found on my ovary. She explains everything in a way you can understand but without sugarcoating, answers all questions, and is very knowledgeable. She performed my laparotomy and my scar looks amazing already, she intentionally closed it in a way to minimize jaggedness and size. She's amazing!

If I could give 0 stars I would. After a procedure, she left the hospital without speaking with me. I found out days later that she didn't actually perform the procedure (even though I was put under for far longer than expected) but did not know why. I was left feeling something went horribly wrong. She has ghosted me since the procedure despite countless attempts to speak with her about what happened. She also did not submit legally required paperwork post-surgery (the post-operative report) on time. It is essential said paperwork is submitted in a timely matter for accurate records, but she took VERY long to submit.

Dr. Jeannine Villella singlehandedly saved my life when I was diagnosed with advanced ovarian cancer. It was not only the medical service she provided me during a time of my life when I felt my world was falling apart. She, along with her team, made me feel emotionally supported and understood.

I dealt with cervical cancer in 2020 and was referred for after care to Dr. Villella. I met with her only once at Caremount and she seemed nice. However I was scheduled for a follow up visit in Jan. 2022 & that was canceled without explanation other than her unavailability and I was rescheduled for April 2022. I just received a call from Caremount saying Dr. Villella will no longer be practicing there and my appointment has been canceled. I have 3 prescriptions that were prescribed by Dr. Villella & for whatever reason, there are no refills left on any of them, despite me needing to take them daily. No one seems to be able to give me any concrete answers and now I have to scramble to find a way to get these scripts filled. She only attends to you in office. Forces procedures on you and when you call with pain she doesn't respond and simply says go to er. She's not even an MD. Check her credentials. She's uncaring and cold.

My experience with Dr. Villella has been great she is a great doctor and human being . My visit was the most relaxing one.. I felt like I could trust her and that she had my best interest at ?. During that time I had been to countless doctor to find out what was the matter with me and numerous test was taken. Dr. Villella is amazing! Not only is she knowledgeable, but she views her patients with humanity and dignity. Besides being a great doctor she is also a wonderful, and compassionate human being. Although Dr. Villella has many patients, she does not rush any consultations. She shows her patients that healing them is her main priority. Dr. Villella answered all of my questions and was great support for me at a very dark time in my life.

Very personable, present and informative in taking time to explain things. Highly recommend.

Doctor Villella is truly one of a kind. I know she saved my life. My situation was serious and she did not hesitate for one minute to stand up for me in dealing with another doctor that I had. Dr. Villella performed a radical hysterectomy on me in 2009. The moment I met Dr. Villella at my initial consultation, I was instantly drawn to her for her caring, compassionate and down to earth demeanor. She took her time explaining my diagnosis and best course of treatment. She had always answered any questions or concerns I had and didn’t rush my appointment time. She is truly one of a kind. She is beyond dedicated to her patients and an expert in her field . My surgery was an absolute success and the recovery afterward went smooth. I healed beautifully with no scar left to be seen. She was there for me 100% before, during, and after surgery. Anyone who meets Dr. Villella will agree that she is a lovely person, sweet & soft spoken and a great doctor all around. You should not hesitate to choose her for your doctor. I wish Dr. Villella and her family nothing but the best in life as she is a devoted, dedicated, and genuinely kind person. Dr. Villella is an excellent surgeon and a caring and compassionate doctor. I highly recommend her for endometrial/uterine cancer surgery. I had advance laparoscopic robotic surgery and I was able to go home the next day, walking on my own, and my pain level was minimal. Dr. Villella, her staff and the staff at Lenox Hill Hospital gave me hope and made me feel safe during a very frightening time.

Dr. Villella performed a partial hysterectomy on me in 2013 at Winthrop hospital. She is a very caring professional doctor. I'll always be grateful to her....I recovered well, hardly a scar...and just as she said I would, I feel so much better.

Dr. Villella recently did a laparatomy on me. Dr. Villella was a great explainer, seemed deeply invested in her work, and always dealt with me with understanding & compassion. I trusted her completely. Her staff were so organized that even a neurotic gal like me didn't have anything left to worry about! The surgery went as smoothly as one could hope for (I had never had surgery before & they made sure I was informed & comfortable throughout). I am so grateful that they took such care with me.
