Horrible! Dr asked why I had even gone to see him. Does not have a good bedside manner, does not listen to you at all.

I went to see this doctor because of his amazing reviews and family referral. In my first visit with him I shared one of my conditions and a drug that I was trying for it. He laughed and rolled his eyes and said who's brilliant idea was that? I felt like he wasn't taking me seriously. Yesterday I found a study online that shows proof the drug I was taking is extremely effective for my condition. I went ahead and decided to do a follow-up with him anyway and they scheduled me for an appointment at 12:00 noon. I live just over an hour away in another town and have to drive through White sands missile range to get here. I recognized I was going to be a couple of minutes late so I tried to call the office however I could not get cell service driving through the missle range. As soon as I could call it was 12:04 and I reached the answering service. I requested that the answering service let them know my appointments at noon and I'm just a couple of minutes away. I arrived just before 12:15 and was unable to reach anyone through the intercom system. I called back to the answering service and they were able to have someone come to the door. I was told that I was late and I would have to reschedule. Obviously I was upset, but I went to lunch and came back at 2:00 p.m. to see about rescheduling. I spoke with the office manager who had the audacity to tell me that she waited until 12:15 for me to show up. She immediately became defensive and began blaming me. I'm not going to get in a battle of the minutes but my question is do they care about making money or do they care about their patients? I hold Dr. Reinhold responsible as it is his job to hire and train staff that cares about his patients. As long as this staff is in place I will not go to him. If It do get get the chance to speak with him, I wonder if he will own his attitude towards me at my first visit? I would have to carefully see how he responds when I show him the studies to decide if he is really a good Dr. or not. I think many Dr.s forget that they are the hired help. I respect their education, however I choose them, not the other way around. While I can admit and own that I was a few minutes late, the manager blatantly lied and was defensive to cover herself rather than taking ownership. I was upset and I did raise my voice at her, she called me out on it and I lowered my voice. I believe Dr Reinhold and his staff need continued training on patient care.

Dr. Reinhold had a great bedside manner and seems knowledgeable, however his staff is terrible. I went to see him for persistent nausea and vomiting and he did an EGD 3 weeks ago. I still have not received any instructions from him about next steps and I am still vomiting. Everytime I call, I get the run around that the Dr. is not in and they will have him call me back, but I am still waiting. It appears like the staff really drop the ball and the Dr. is too busy to provide personal care.

Don't go to this Doctor. My initial visit lasted about 5 minutes. After my endoscopy procedure, I never saw him again. His nurse gave my wife the report and a referral to see another doctor for another study that he recommended. No in put at all with Doctor Reinhold. He would not return my calls and his staff are not that friendly.

While I believe Dr Rheinhold is a good doctor his practice and front office staff are ALL INCOMPETENT, ESPECIALLY OFFICE MANAGER, “ROSE” If I ran a private services organization the way Digestive Disease is run, I’d be out of business within weeks. The problem is, we patients are held hostage by uneducated and incompetent, non medical staff. Unfortunately, A medical appointment includes Interaction with the front office staff. When the doctor says, “my staff will call you with an appointment” I’m sure the doctor believes that will happen in a timely manner. Not so at Digestive Disease. I had to call repeatedly, for an appointment every time I was told “I need to speak with the doctor” or “the doctor will have to call you back.”One excuse after another.

He presents as well spoken and calming - but after the procedure he becomes arrogant and demeaning. Come back in 5 years?? No way. I'll go somewhere else.

I am a long time patient of Dr. Reinhold and considered him to be a good doctor until a recent visit with him. Today I had a scheduled appointment with the doctor that was made about two months ago. The office called last week to confirm the appointment and I said I wanted to keep the appointment because I had a number of questions to ask him about my condition. The office was to set up a virtual appt. on the smart phone at a set time. No call came at the scheduled time so I called and the office said the doctor would call after he completed his visit with another patient. The call never came from the doctor or the office. How unprofessional! I suggest that if you need a competent GI doctor with a proficient office staff, look elsewhere!

My family and I have been patients of Dr. Reinhold for many years and thought him to be a capable GI doctor. However, my recent experiences with him and his office staff have been far from satisfactory. His manner has been rude, arrogant, uncaring, and unprofessional. I cannot recommend him to others and will look elsewhere for a competent and caring GI doctor for myself and family in the future.

Reinhold is a subpar doctor with a lukewarm bedside manner and a troll staff. Listen, as a patient, I don't feel I'm respected or heard. I went in looking for answers and left with more questions. His staff is SO unfriendly it borders on harassment. He's aware of this because once I complained I was told that, "they're always getting complaints" Right. Well, Las Cruces is a big city, we have other GI specialists in the area without ego and without a staff that treats you like you're having an operation in a back-ally in Zimbabwe. If you don't believe me, call them up and schedule an appointment, or RUN!

Reinhold is brass and cocky. He didn’t listen to my concerns and I was more groggy and inebriated after waking up from my in-office colonoscopy procedure than I was from surgery with anesthesia. He rushed me out of the office when I was still stumbling and non communicative. I felt disappointed and hurt by how he treated me. Such an awful experience! I will tell my practitioner not to refer to Reinhold again, I cannot stress enough just how awful his staff is. Inappropriate jokes and rude women at the desk. I felt so poorly treated. My advice: find another GI doctor!

My experience was poor. I followed through with his direction to have labs done without delay after the first appointment so that medications could be procured and the course begun. I had the labs done, arranged for insurance coverage for the prescription, had the prescription sent to the doctor and then was told by the office that I had to wait 7 weeks for an appointment to start the course. The office was inflexible and would not simply give me the medication with written instructions. I think it's completely unreasonable to have to wait 7 weeks for medication that has been paid for and in the doctor's possession. I'm not going to continue seeing Dr. Reinhold.

Dr. Rheinhold is a good doctor when it comes to uncomplicated endoscopies and colonoscopies but beyond that his knowledge and expertise are limited. At times he can be rude, unprofessional and condescending. We have used this doctor for years but recently he ignored symptoms of a serious nature of a condition he apparently knew little about and implied explicitly that my pain was imagined. Additional tests by other doctors confirmed a diagnosis of chronic pancreatitis. We have lost confidence in this doctor.

Terrible- I’ve been waiting for 1 month for him to advise me regarding the need for an endoscopy. I’ve made 3 calls to his nurse requesting a reply, to no avail. I’m forced to go elsewhere. VERY Disappointing

I see many specialists for my complicated medical problems. I went to this doctor and felt extremely satisitied with his service. He is so kind, so compassionate and knowledgable. I feel blessed to once again add a specialist to my provider list that I feel I can trust his advise. I was so nervous to meet with a new doctor but within a minute his caring and patient friendly nature gave me relief that I made the right choice to schedule with him.
