My questions and concerns were ignored.

Worst dermatologist I’ve ever been to. Had allergic reactions to the medications which wouldn’t have been a big deal if I hadn’t called 5 times and each time no one answered the phone and no one got back to me or the phone was just handed to a random nurse who had no idea what medication I was talking about. I prescribed 3 drying creams and wash and no hydration products at all and given no instructions. My face literally had cracks by my mouth for weeks until it healed. I switched dermatologists. My new one takes her time and examines my entire body, no rush. Her office also runs on time. Dr. B does a sketchy assessment and no education. She told me I would have to see a plastic surgeon for a small skin tag near my eyelid. My new dermatologist froze it off right there and then, no new appt necessary.

Dr. Jean Buhac is fabulous in every way possible. She keeps me looking young and beautiful! Who can ask for anything more??? A great doctor too...!

Dr. Buhac sees our whole family and we always receive great care!

It was the worst! I was there to get a full body exam (that in itself is uncomfortable) and felt like I had Leprosy. The exam was rushed. She NEVER looked at my whole body and brushed off any concerns I had. I walked out of office feeling desperate for another opinion (in which I am getting). Please reconsider choosing Dr Buhac if you value your health! And this is the nicest thing I can say!!!

Had a great appointment with Dr. Buhac. Yes it is a bit of a wait but no more than for any specialist. She spent a lot of time with me and was very personable!

I have seen Dr. Buhac for a couple of years and have nothing but positive things to say. I recently brought my son to see her and he was very overwhelmed with the procedure before it had even started. Dr. Buhac and her nurses were patient, understanding and answered all his questions numerous times; the same questions were answereed over and over. They were honest and caring in their responses. I can't thank Dr.Buhac and her nurses enough, my son completed the procedure and is very happy with the result, as am I. I returned to Dr. Buhac after a number of years. She was a fantastic doctor back then, and she is even better now. She made me feel comfortable and listened to my concerns about my adult acne/rosacea. She didn't rush me out of the office and took her time to find out what could be causing the flare ups with my skin. She's the best!

I had my first visit with Dr Buhac today and I was impressed with the entire office. I was greeted by a very friendly face at the front desk where I registered. Didn't visit. Made an appointment but needed to cancel and change it. Called 2 weeks in advance and machine answered. Left a message but nobody called back. A week later I went to the website and filled out a form. Again, nobody replied in any way.

My 7 year old daughter had infected skin lesion, office got me within an hour of calling to check lesion. Staff very kind and accommodating. Dr Smith and office nurse did a great job with her care. Recommend DR Buhac and DR Smith above any other local dermatology group.

Dr Buhac herself seems very good on the first visit but the office staff and staff that answer the phone are Horrible. We received such rude treatment that they lost 3 patients that day. I have been visiting Dr. Buhac since 2002 for yearly exams. I have only positive experiences with her and her office staff.....friendly, courteous, helpful, concerned...just to name a few of the qualities that I find with her practice.

I have been going to Dr. Buhac for years and so have my children. She is friendly and very knowledgable. I highly recommend her and her practice for all your dermatology and spa needs.

I have been going to Dr. Buhac's office for well over a decade. She is very thorough in her exams, professional and always friendly. The supporting staff is efficient, and I never waited longer than 15 minutes. Highly recommended.

Dr. Buhac and Saratoga Dermatology have the experience and the latest options in skin treatments. Dr. B always takes the time to discuss what the best options are for me. It’s a personalized and natural approach to skin care that I look for. Better and preferable to me than any NYC Medical Spa.

Horrible Horrible Horrible Do yourself a favor and find a dedicated, caring doctor, not someone who is only interested in botox treatments over treating skin conditions. Her credentials appeared to be good which is why I went to her.. Big Mistake in her instance..RUDE, UNINTERESTED IN A PATIENT’S WELL BEING. Her partner is equally rude. Look elsewhere for a qualified dr and save yourself a 2 hr wait for nothing. Dr Buhac spent less than 5 minutes with me.

She can be nice to new patients, but she seems to be very passive aggressive. She can be kinda mean and ignorant. If you have the time and option, I would seriously suggest going to another dermatologist.

I had an excellent experience with this practice. I saw Dr. Buhac yesterday to have a mole removed. She also brought up some issues I didn't even realize I had like rosacea. All these years I thought I just had bad skin and it never seemed to get better, even as I reached my 40's. She advised me on how it can be treated and prevented, giving me hope for the first time in years that I can finally have a chance at healthier, better looking skin! Dr. Buhac was very professional, friendly, informative, and took the time to really listen to my concerns without rushing through the appointment which I often find other doctors to do. My 9 month old baby had a lesion on his shoulder that had been there for about a month. Our pediatrician treated with a steroid cream, antibiotic lotion and then oral antibiotic. I was concerned because there was no improvement with any of the treatments. I finally decided that I needed to involve a specialist. I made an appointment with Dr. Buhac who immediately identified the lesion which will resolve on it's own. Dr. Buhac and her staff were great!! I appreciated the care they provided.

The doctor knew exactly what was wrong with my skin after months of not knowing what was going on. The nurses are so knowledgeable. The office had such a nice spa like feel to it, not sterile like I expected like a hospital/doctor office. On my follow up since my skin was finally healed thanks to them, I was able to ask questions about things to help delay or reverse skin aging. I had no idea all the things that were available and surprisingly affordable. I am so glad I found them.

Another doctor advised us to take our special needs son to see Dr. Buhac and were so glad we did. He had severe dermatitis/psoriasis and was suffering from anxiety over recent traumatic and serious surgery. Dr. Buhac was kind, considerate and above all knowledgeable. Following her advice, his skin was cleared up quickly and efficiently. Susie the nurse was patient and helpful with the follow up questions I had about the medications. I'd highly recommend Dr. Buhac if you have serious problems.

Saw Dr. Buhoc several weeks ago and had a Horrible visit. Was there for annual full body check and she acted like she was bothered because I had so many spots for her to examine, She gave me a rushed, short exam . She told me she could not biopsy more than one of the spots that needed to be biopsied that day as My insurance wouldn’t pay her the full amount for subsequent biopsies. During a full body exam she Omitted areas of my body including my entire scalp and ears. No response to my email

This office always has long waits which I would not mind if I felt that the Dr even cared at all about me. She breezes in the room for basically a few minutes. Gives incomplete nonsensical information, doesn't explain anything at all. I just felt like a number. AWFUL experience! I will never go to the office again and plan on finding another dermatologist.

Literally the worst experience I have had at a dermatologist; the other being the first time I went to a dermatologist. Went in for a disconcerting mole as a new patient. I was told nothing on the phone about what would be done procedurally. They spent maybe a minute looking at moles and told me they would need 2 follow ups. I am not going to be in the area so I asked if they could try to do something that day, to which they said no because I would need stitches removed. I was literally sitting on the examining table naked- both examiners left abruptly, opening the door wide each time. No further explanation was given. I have no idea what the procedure would be when I do go to a different dermatologist. I am frustrated and mostly worried about the spots because they didn't tell me how serious/not serious they are. I checked in at the front desk, visibly upset, and the lady behind the desk kept talking to me about my address and mail. I called the business office to dispute the visit since it was utterly pointless since there will be no follow up with this place. She told me I had all the procedures done that I was informed would happen, which is 100% inaccurate. Beautiful warm welcoming office and staff. Dr Buhac is awesome, I felt very comfortable and Made a follow up visit. I would highly recommend this office.

Outstanding customer service. Lorraine in reception did an exceptional job...she even gave me water for my dog outside in my truck. Short wait time. Friendly professional service.

I had experienced an hour wait time and left the office. The office manager, Cathy, I believe her name was, called me later in the day. Pretty unapologetic and actually hung up on me when I explained my disappointment of having to wait in just a robe in exam room for over a half an hour. I ended up rescheduling to have a mole removed that required stitches. They could not get me in at the Dr's reccomendation to return in 2 weeks for removal. I had to wait a 3 weeks. Due to this, I have a scar.

I am now looking for another dermatologist. Rude leaves the office doesn't explain what your cancer is, nor do you even know if she is done examining you. My body check was not complete. Rating my experience was terrible. I have never wrote a review on any doctor, but felt very strong that it should be written this time.

My 5 yr old daughter had to be seen for eczema vs vitilago. Saw a nurse, gave the usual information and then waited 45!!! freaking minutes to see Dr Buhac for 3 minutes. Not even exaggerating! She didn't even look at my daughters skin, just walked in and declared that the loss of pigment is from the eczema, which is funny seeing how it's been there for over 4 months and it's not red or blotchy or has any signs of being eczema! This whole place felt sleazy. The Dr prescribed a VERY expensive $400-500 salicylic acid wash to treat my cysts. I really just needed them removed, but she insisted this was a better option for me because "the acid helps cysts come to a head." That doesn't help prevent the 10 or 15 I have from not inflaming though. My regular doctor said a I can also go to plastic surgeon to get them removed, even though there's no reason this dermatologist couldn't have done it. I will end up doing that since the wait time is much less. I'm guessing these guys get a lot of kickbacks for writing perscriptions, because their medical advice alone is crap. I don't plan on ever going back. They also billed my wrong insurance (my fault) but I faxed them my new card, and they said they would re-bill with the new info. They never did, and sent my bill straight to collections instead. I paid it immediately, and now I continue to get billed for the same appointment (I only ever visited once). I will probably file a complaint with the BBB, and the dermatological association so someone can review their highly questionable practices. My daughter had a great experience with Dr. Buhac. My daughter has severe cystic acne and had developed a case of mrsa. Dr. Buhac not only cured her acne, but prevented the mrsa from spreading. She has been very understanding and helpful. We had visited many other dermatologists in the Capital Region with no success. I highly recommend Dr. Buhac. Waited 45 minutes in waiting room with my daughter. Then we waited another 50 minutes in the cold exam room. no one checked on us - ever. Dr. B breezed in and took something from our room, told us to hang on and then left again. It was so rude. We got up and walked out of the office, through the waiting room and out the door. We never received any apology for the almost 2 hour wait, and strangely rude behavior. WOULD NEVER RECOMMEND. There are other derms that are at least polite.

Waiting in the exam room over 45minutes it was very cold. Doctor came in I needed full exam never check my whole body. When she was done I didn't even know she just exited the room. I had to ask the nurse if she was done. I have another appt which I'm going to cancel. I have history of skin cancer in my family. Really thought she would take time to check me. AWFUL

I waited almost an hour to be seen by the doctor, even though the assistant said it would be just a few minutes. No apology from the doctor when she arrived, she even gave me a bit of an attitude when I mentioned it. Very brief visit, doctor recommended a pill but neglected to mention the fact that it would cost over $500 as one of the drawbacks I'd asked about. Their office makes it very difficult to actually speak to anyone regarding questions or problems (office also screwed up getting my prescriptions sent to the pharmacy) bogging the patient down in a series of automated phone menus and answering machines. I finally left a frustrated message expressing several concerns over the medication she'd prescribed, begging someone to call me back promptly since I had a follow-up appointment scheduled which relied on me beginning the course of medication quickly. The office never bothered to call me back. Paid $140 for the privilege of being ignored and forgotten. I'll never go to them again.
