Kids unfriendly!!!!!

Horrible Horrible Horrible place...The receptionist is extremely rude and entitled. This is no place to take a child please find some place else. I am from California and I hope not all dallas pediatricians office are like this. But I doubt anywhere could be as bad as this place. And they had the nerve to send me a dismissal letter because I told them I will change a doctor.

Please read all the 1 star reviews before making an appointment. I failed to do so. Why on earth this woman is a pediatrician is beyond me.Does not try to form any sort of relationship with the child or make them feel welcomed! Gave my mother a different diagnosis than she did with me over the phone, complete opposite of what she said when my mom took him to his appointment. My son has Medicaid & she felt the need to mention something about it every visit. The common denominator on all of this is that this woman does not have any empathy, passion, etc for children!

Dr. Novak has been more than a pediatrician to us. Being a first time mom , I have bothered Dr. Novak over emails for every little concern and she has always responded promptly and even called again as a follow up. It doesn't matter whether we reach out to her during office hours or holidays she has always helped us. She is knowledgeable and gentle with our baby and so is her staff. Also she goes above and beyond to get the best care for our baby and is also very good with references which helped us get an appointment with an ENT pretty quickly. We are glad we chose her as our pediatrician. Dr. Novak has been more than a pediatrician to us. The doctor expected I spoke Spanish because I'm brown skinned when I told her I didn't she called me dumb. You also have to make a an appointment for every issue have to change milk? Make an appointment The kids need shots ? Make an appointment . Will only handle one topic an appointment I guess so she can get more money through your kids insurances . Dr.Novak was my pediatrician when I was a baby, now we’re using her for our daughter. She is very straight forward and knowledgeable, that’s why I recommend her. Her methods and approaches are not extreme, but efficient and reasonable. She really goes above and beyond for her clients, she clearly loves what she does and she does a great job at it. Great Doctor great staff, excellent bedside manner.

First off great staff and Pediatrician! I moved over from my original pediatrician to Dr. Novax because of the quality care she gives to my 3 children, we have been with her for about 7 years now, she says it as it is and won’t beat around the bush. Dr. Novax gives excellent care and advice *do not get butt hurt when she does she’s INFORMING you and providing good care she lets you know you can email her if you have any questions after the visits and will call and check up on your child as well! We love Dr. Novax and my kids love seeing her she helped them be brave along w my help of course:) she only give medication like antibiotics if necessary which I love and she genuinely cares and the staff is awesome nice reliable and informative thank you!!! If I could give 0 star I would ,the worst doctor ever, It’s her way or the highway,,, I’ll never recommend on her

I can't believe this woman is a doctor for children! She is so rude and condescending. The staff are extremely nice though.

After discovering our 3 year old was diagnosed with Leukemia, Mrs. Novak and I used Mrs, rather then Dr. On purpose, gave us a super hard time with stuff we needed for her such as referals and stuff. She forced us to bring our daughter in to her clinic before she would allow our daughter to start get treatments when it was super dangerous at the time because her anc was 0! Since then our 1 year old got sick and we took her in for a sick visit and wanted to get her checked for flu since its life threating if her sister gets it. She refused to give us a flu test. She has zero empathy, zero emotion, zero care for these children. We received a letter in the mail saying she will no longer see our children. Which we didn't plan on taking them back anyway but it sickens me. Idk why she chose pediatrics for her carrer. She needs to care more about these children parents are trusting their kids with. Its so sad to have come across a lady who is supposed to help our children act this way. I will never recommend this lady and hope she retires or finds a carrer where she actually cares about others. Dr. Novak is definitely my second mom. I’ve been seeing her since I was 3 and every visit has been great. She’s tough but sometimes that’s necessary. Her staff is wonderful and kind. She’s always given my sister, parents, and I great advice and fantastic care.

The BEST Doctor that we have taken our son to. He has really bad eczema and Dr. Novak was the only professional who was able to help him. She truly cares and even showed us to apply the medicine. Our son finally was able to get a full night's sleep and looked better after the first day. This is the happiest I have seem him in a long time. Dr. Novak is very direct and gets to the point. I would highly recommend her to anyone who doesn't get upset about her telling you the truth. The BEST Doctor that we have taken our son to. I visited two other pediatricians before switching over to her office and honestly it has been the best decision I have ever made! She is very informative and very attentive. From the very first visit I had with her she’s always been great with my son. Her staff is amazing to, so sweet and helpful.

She is VERY rude.

I am very depressed on her haughty and arrogant behavior to my babies. Worst in service I have ever faced.

Staff is pleasant, however, it took me forever to get the appointment scheduled because the doctor requires that she has the shot records and listed as the pcp on the ID card before scheduling the appointment. THEN after I did this, she only allows one new patient visit per day no matter how many kids you have. I only have two kids needing routine visits. Had I known this BEFORE I did what was required, I would have looked for a different physician. Just giving everyone a heads up because we all know how much of a hassle insurance can be. Doctor Jayshree Novak, very professional doctor, excellent treatment, and very helpful staff and very clean place. Thank you very much for excellent service for more than 8 years. I recommend for any one have kids.

Honest and educated pediatrician. No nonsense. She’ll tell you exactly what you need to hear. She truly cares for her patients and goes above and beyond to ensure the highest quality of care. We come from two hours away to see her.

Dr. Novak is one of the best doctors I’ve come across. You can tell she cares and wants to inform her patients as much as possible. I’ve called a few times when my kids were sick and she saw them the same day. She’s awesome! I just read the bad reviews and from my experience she has never been rude with me or my kids. Terrible bedside manner- very rude and abrasive in the name of being factual. Always picking on my kids at every visit-now they don't want to go there. She is just too mean to be a pediatrician (or a physician for that matter). Her staff are nice that why she got the one star. I am glad that she is my daughters doctor . I felt that she care for child like her own family child . If you want a REAL review just skip to mine! This is what this doctor and her office is like. I see her a couple times a month. Dr. Novak is hands down the best pediatrician I have had for my children. When I gave birth to my daughter, a doctor actually recommended her and now I can say... what a blessing! She cares so much for our child. If your child is sick or you have any concerns, she tells you to call and email her at anytime of the day, even on the days they are closed. I will repeat... EVEN ON THE DAYS THE OFFICE IS CLOSED. Where in the earth do you get a doctors office like that?! OH WAIT, DR. NOVAKS OFFICE. The facility also has two waiting rooms, one for the sick and the other for the non sick children. Each room is full of books and toys so the children don’t even realize they are in the “sick room”. Our older son actually got very sick and we were worried because he didn’t have insurance. So when we took our daughter in for her appointment we asked Dr.Novak when we should draw the line and take our son to a doctor and she went out of her way to check on him right that second without any hesitation and instantly found he had an ear infection and was able to get him medication fast and direct to a place with affordable prescriptions. She LITERALLY cares for the children and is very knowledgeable. I won’t be looking for another pediatrician anytime soon unless forced to do so. Also to the one star review person, you can SUCK IT. Yes I will be the one to say it. There are many other doctors that need that one star review, and she is the LAST person to have a one star review, especially over being butt hurt that she isn’t all TWINKLE TOES with your children, that’s obscure. We've been with Dr. Novak for almost 18 years now. My son was born at 25 weeks and had major health issues, not only from the start, but ongoing. When we chose her as our pediatrician, she drove to the hospital he was born at to talk with the neonatologists without me even asking. She helped walk me through each and every scary battle. She is very matter of fact and doesn't beat around the bush. I prefer that because I want direct information. I live in Frisco and we still drive my kids down to her office. I don't understand the one star reviews. She's not one to sit and tell jokes, but she's definitely one of the best doctors I know. I'm not there to get babied. If she's being "rude" to you then it's because you're not listening to her advice or taking her seriously. We've been with Dr. Novak for almost 18 years now. Dr. Novak is amazing! She was there when my son's lung was collapsing in the nursery the first 24 hours of him being born. She has a great heart for children't health. She takes time to talk with you about your concerns and advises very well. I have not had a problem with her nor her staff. All those that work in the office are kind and very professional. We LOVE Dr. Novak! Could never have asked for a better doctor for my son. She is amazingly knowledgeable... very no-nonsense... will only prescribe meds if necessary. I always trusted that we were not over medicating or using too many antibiotics. She took wonderful care of him from the time he was born until he was 12 years old & we moved from the area... I have been taking my children/grandchild to Dr. Novak for almost 20 years now. I love that she does not push antibiotics or any other pills. She will prescribe when needed, but not just because of sniffles. Also, when we have needed specialty care she has referred us to the best and brightest. I would not hesitate to refer her to anyone!
