Dr. Jay B Stallman

I went to Dr. Stallman for a retina problem which required surgery. The staff, both in the office and at the surgical center were professional and knowledgeable. Dr. Stallman performed the surgery and I can see so much better. Thank you Dr. Stallman!

I have been seen by Dr. Stallman for twenty years for retina care. He is thorough, very knowledgeable, caring, unhurried, personable and patient with my eye sensitivity. I would recommend him to anyone needing retina care.

I can only echo other positive reviews and say that I appreciate Dr. Stallman's patience in answering questions and explaining progress and prognosis of treatment. I would highly recommend Dr. Stallman and his entire staff.

I was a patient of Dr. Stallman for several months, he could not get the pressure to go down in my left eye, he did a procedure on my eye with something that look like a plunger, that did not work he sent me to have surgery with Dr. Ray Brown with the eye pressure still high, Dr. Brown did the surgery but it did not work bottom line I lost my vision in my left eye

Dr Stallman is an outstanding Ophthalmologist. He explains in great detail what procedure he is performing on you. This is very calming to know that you are in the hands of a very competent Physician. What makes him great is he truly cares about his patients. I retired from the Healthcare field and I do know that's one of the main traits that patients look for in their physician. Dr Stallman and his staff are kind, caring and so compassionate from the time you enter the practice until you leave.

I had lost most of my vision in my right eye. Chose Dr Jay Stallman with GA Retina in Gainesville, GA to perform a vitrectomy and membrane peeling(removal of vitreous fluid and peeling off scar tissue from my retina. He did a wonderful job. No pain, restored vision and great care from him and office staff. If you need retina surgery I totally recommend him. Tons of experience and education which resulted in a good outcome!

Dr Stallman has been taking care of me for several years. I have never once been disappointed or uneasy with the care he gives me. I completely trust him & his staff. I can see! This is the result of his knowledge & skill. I feel so very lucky to have found him! Thank you Dr Stallman & staff!

Dr. Stallman has been consistently courteous and professional, as his staff also has been during my ongoing care. Answers questions and explains what is going on with my vision. I am very pleased with him AND his support staff at the practice.

Posted by Linda Cushing: Dr Stallman and all of Georgia Retina staff are the best! Always courteous, willing to explain processes and procedures, extremely accommodating and patient. They are very busy, however, when I am one on one with doctor and staff, they treat me like I'm the only patient in the office. Always willing to listen to me and answer all of my questions.

I have recently became a patient having moved here from Charlotte. My previous specialist I spent hours at for my regular macular injections. Georgia Retina gets you in and out due to an excellent trained staff. Dr. Stallman is great!

I was referred to Dr. Stallman by my Ophthalmologist to repair a torn and detached retina. Dr. Stallman examined me and advised that I needed immediate surgery to repair my retina to prevent further damage. Dr. Stallman made me feel very confident that he and his team would be able to take care of my eye. I am happy to report that my eye is doing great and my vision is just about back to normal after 2 weeks! I highly recommend Dr. Stallman and the staff at Georgia Retina.

My experience with Georgia Retina, Dr. Stallman, and the staff here has always been pleasant. I was diagnosed with a retinal detachment in my right eye in June, 1999, and had the buckle surgery in July. In 2000, my left retina detached, and another surgery was performed. The outcome is much in my favor, since I am an artist, and I could have lost my sight forever. Many thanks to all the folks at Georgia Retina that my outcome has been very successful. The treatment is of the highest quality available. The doctors are professional & take the time required to explain treatment, diagnosis & results expected. The office is equipped with the latest instruments & I believe the doctors are trained on the most recent medical procedures & tests. I was referred to this specialty group by my ophthalmologist for a detached retina. I believe Dr. Stallman saved my sight . Yes, you usually have to wait a fairly long time, but it's worth it.
