Mr. Jay O Meyer

Not on time. Dr. Is condescending and tells us the exact same thing every time. Billing is a joke. Been going here for two years and haven’t gotten a single correct bill. Last two appts were the worst. Waited in waiting room for 35 minutes. Been in the exam room for 20 and haven’t seen the dr yet.

I have been a patient of Dr. Meyer for many years. He treated my heel bone spurs, surgery on bunions and hammer toes on both feet, and I have continued maintenance every nine weeks with him. I always trusted him to take care of my Mother and Aunt as well. I have referred friends also and all were very satisfied with his expertise and treatment. My feet are in excellently condition thanks to Dr. Meyer at Podiatry Plus. His staff is great. I have been a patient of Dr. Meyer for many years. Fast, friendly, personable receptionists, nurses, and doctors. I broke a toe and was able to set up an appointment over the phone -- not just for the same day -- but within 2 hours! Amazing people. Extraordinary service!

Dr. J is a skilled podiatrist. He knows how to help patients with problems in their feet due to complications from diabetes. He also works with other ailments of the foot and ankle. His staff is friendly and supportive. I highly recommend his practice for all of your foot care needs.

As usual the office runs on time and is staffed with capable friendly folks. There are strict Covid protocols and the staff is definitely looking out for patients. Not to mention my feet have improved a lot under Dr. Meyer's care.

I have been going to Dr. Meyer for several years and have been very happy with the results. I have painful hammertoes and a bunion that are very bad on one foot. We finally decided that a surgical procedure would be the best solution. I had the surgery a week ago and the results are amazing. I was afraid that there would be a long recovery but I could walk with a surgical shoe immediately. I will be back in regular shoes next week and the toes will no longer form calluses. He is very knowledgeable, he gives you a lot of information and will treat multiple things all at once which seems a little overwhelming, however it’s was to save visits which I appreciated. I would recommend this office.

First they want paper work filled out with a 100plus questions; They seem to be more interested in collecting payments than the care of the patients; Their main goal is to sell products at double the retail price. I feel that you must have full confidence in any doctor that you use; with podiatry plus I have no confidence in and neither should you!

Dr Meyer is a very professional, caring, compassionate Doctor. He asks if you understand instructions and repeats if you need further information without hesitation. He is honest with you and straight to the point with caring words. I would recommend him to anyone who truly cares about their podiatry needs. His staff is also very friendly and professional.

Dr Meyers has been my foot doctor for almost a decade. Hes done surgery on my feet and he did a excellent job. After every visit I leave and my feet feel amazing. Wish there was more stars,I give him 10 stars!!! I advise anyone with foot issues to go to him. THANK YOU DR MEYERS!!! -M. Stone

Highly recommended. I have seen Dr. Meyer several times over many years for a variety of foot/ankle issues. He is very patient-oriented and explains everything very clearly. His staff is excellent. He has treated me for a persistent and serious ankle infection (wound care specialist) and I great toe joint replacement. I am very happy with the results. I give him a smiley face. :-)

Dr. Meyer tells me the truth and gives excellent advice...and I'm glad I listened.

Dr. Meyer has made a big difference in the care of my feet, all info given and points made to let me know what to do on my part had made me very happy with the results.

Had an 8AM appointment for Monday the 17th. and waited and waited for the office to open. About 8:25 AM a lady pulled up and went to the office door. Still closed. She called the office number and they told her Dr. Meyer was on vacation for the week and there WERE NO APPOINTMENTS TODAY. I did not stick around to see if other patients would show up. Neither the lady nor I were notified that our appointments were cancelled. That seems to coincide with Dr. Meyers rattlesnake bedside manner.

Just had office call me saying my insurance number did not go through because of invalid number and I would have to call my insurance provider. Called my insurance and they assured me that the numbers were correct and that Dr. Meyer was in network so should be no problem and that his office should call them if they still had issue. When I called the off back the person was rude and said they had to call the insurance company when it was a problem with the numbers!! will not return!

After surgery this summer I had terrible pain at just 4 days post op, made dr Meyer aware and he brushed it off. At weeks 2-3 I ran fevers everyday for two weeks with more swelling and pain in foot and he had the gall to tell me it was my anxiety and in my head. He was unprofessional, negligent, rude, and believes intimidating and bullying a patient is ethical. An MRI I had done by my PCP, shows I've got an Achilles injury thats been there since surgery. Neglectful/incompetent care caused this.

Dr. Meyer did minor hammer toe surgery 2 weeks ago in his office! It was quick & easy & recovery was "a piece of cake!"

The care I got at Podiatry Plus was incredible. I felt like the service was prompt and detailed. The office seemed very organized and ran smoothly. I have to say, I wish my other doctor's offices were ran this good. Dr. Meyer was thorough and to the point and I felt a lot better after leaving. I'd recommend them to anyone seeking a podiatrist. Dr. Meyer has been treating my mother for many years. He has sold her several pairs of shoes that have not been comfortable for her. She has poor balance and walks with a walker, and recently she purchased a $60.00 pair of sandals from his office that have no backings. She ended up sewing straps on the sandals to keep them on her feet. He was very disrespectful to her during her most recent appointment, so we have decided it's not in her best interest to keep seeing this man for her feet issues.

I think Dr. Meyer is the best podiatry he cares about his patients. He explain everything to me and he just makes you feel very comfortable. I would not go to any another podiatry. The staff is so nice and caring too.

I waited an hour in the waiting room. I did not feel that he listened to me. He didn't give me any advice that I hadn't googled. My second visit, I waited 30 minutes in the waiting room for an 8:15 am appointment. Dr. Meyer came out, fed his fish and watched them eat! There were 2 other people in the waiting room! During this visit the computers were down, so he had no idea what he had told me or about my situation, but he told me that I hadn't followed his advice! What advice?
