Jay Jiekuen Lou

Dr. Lou is not patient to give time to answer question. I am unsure of this is a cultural issue of respecting elders, if he doesn't have time, or if he simply doesn't want to hear you out. He has essentially told me a few times that the only treatment options to me are his way of doing things, or no way at all. Very rigid.

I went to see Dr Lou for assessment of my allergies. After triggering my allergies, I started having difficulty breathing and coughing violently. I was nebulized and given some steroids but didn't help. I was getting in a bad shape and Dr Lou is called in. Dr Lou tells me( a dying patient) to go to the ER without offering any assistance to get me there, all the clinic did was giving me a clinical summary of my visit to take to the ER. Thank God am alive, I'll never forget that fateful day.

Dr. Lou is extremely rushed. He will become visibly irritated if you ask any questions. He had successfully treated me for several years, but when I began having a new medical issue he gave me a strange theory and treatment. I found another allergist to get a second opinion. He said Dr. Lou's theories and treatments did not make any sense. I have decided to switch doctors. I now have doubts about Dr. Lou's fitness to practice medicine.

Not great with little kids.
