Great practice, with the best Doctor and staff.

This was my first time going to Dr. Gruhlkey and he is a fantastic Doctor. Everyone I had contact with were friendly, compassionate, knowledgeable and professional. I would recommend Lonestar Medical to everyone looking for the best medical care.

My physical was right on time and expedient. The staff are all smiles and friendly. Everything was explained thoroughly.

The whole clinic is thorough and work well together. Dr. Gruhlkey is an excellent doctor and easy to talk to.

Lonestar Medical and Dr Gruhlkey are amazing. It’s a great practice. I never feel like they are in a rush to get me out the door. They listen and seem to be genuinely concerned about their patients. Our whole family has moved to Lonestar. I recommend without reservation.

Best GP Doctor in New Braunfels. I’ve been going to Dr. Jay for years for me general health care and allergies. It is always easy to get in to see him. Friendly and caring staff. They always call me back quickly when I leave a message. I highly recommend Lonestar Medical and Dr. Jay Gruhlkey.

I arrived 25 minutes early, and was seen right away. My exam was complete 1 minute after my originally scheduled show time. This office is very efficient.

Dr Gruhlkey is awesome and so is his staff. Can’t recommend him enough. Never have had to wait long at all which is rare for a Doctor’s office.

Always professional and punctual. Dr Gruhlkey and his staff go above and beyond the call of their practice.

Dr Gruhlkey is a Top Notch FAA AME! His staff is always able to get me in for FAA Class 1 physical in a reasonable time window. Quick, but thorough, usually in and out in 30 min or less, 45 with EKG. My FAA Doc for a long as I'm in the San Antonio/New Braunfells area.

Made an on-line appointment 2 weeks in advance as a new patient. On the day of the appointment, I get a phone call from the staff. I don't answer because I don't recognize the number and I get lots of spam calls. I show up early for the appointment with all of the pre-requisite patient history filled out. Was denied my appointment and told to get medical records from my previous Dr., who is in North Texas. Even though I didn't have an appointment, and the office closed early due to inclement weather, they were able to squeeze me in through Teledoc almost immediately. Dr. Gruhlkey was very attentive and didn't rush through the appointment.

Always exceptional care and thorough examination by Dr. Gruhlkey! He helps listen to concerns and does routine labs and discusses concerns to figure out where to send me next for an appropriate referral to the correct doctor of the new concern.

This was absolutely the most heartless interaction I have had with a medical provider. The building is horribly marked and there was zero empathy from the front desk and the providers. I would not even give a 1 star. I had an appointment and they complained to me about how they were slammed with over 80 patients in one day which cannot be good quality of care.
