Provided exceptional medical and bed side care for both parents and scared child with ITP. Gave up his lunch time to fit us in for a follow up appointment.

Daughter saw him for genetic testing. Consultation was promising but he never followed up with us on results. Despite messages left via phone, email and patient portal received no reply. Finally received copy of a letter sent to our pediatrician which contained multiple errors about her history and background raising concerns of confusion with another patient. A month later, still no reply and remaining uncertainty about her results and treatment options.

No response to calls, email or patient portal to obtain child’s genetic studies. Letter to pediatrician contained multiple errors regarding patient and family history. Suspect confusion with another patients medical records.

My 25 year old daughter is alive today because of Dr. Jay! He chose a chemo protocol for her when she was diagnosed with a sacrococcygeal-taratoma at the age of 15 months in 1991. He gave her such tender care and his entire staff were so positive and all angels in my opinion. He made himself 100% available during the 3 months my daughter was taking chemo-therapy at Fairfax Hospital. He would show up at the hospital at all hours if there were ANY issues with my daughter. He also arranged for my wife to be with my daughter from the day she was admitted until the last day she was dismissed after her last round of chemo-therapy. Awesome doctor that my wife and I hold up as a god send!
