Jay Stuart Bender

Dr. Bender is a great surgeon. He has not only been treating me for over 10 years, but also my entire family goes to him. He is so patient and takes time to listen to me and explain my treatment plan in a way that I can understand. He explains all of my options to me and give me the pros and cons of each treatment and allows me to make the best decision for me at the time. I always love seeing him and his staff is absolutely WONDERFUL. They are so friendly and happy. (Even while wearing the dreaded masks).

Try to make an appointment here . They were very rude and said that they would not call my insurance company to verify because they don’t take it didn’t even try . When I tried to tell them I only have a $45 copay for specialist . She said I don’t care . Overall Office staff was very rude . Also hard to get ahold of

Dr Jay Bender is unethical inside and outside the hospital. September 2021 I was admitted into Denton Presbyterian for a fractured hip with AVN (death of bone). Dr Bender was on duty and I was told he would be my attending physician. Then shortly thereafter I was told Dr Bender had to leave the hospital on an emergency for 2 weeks. Months later learned why. Dr Bender had just filed a fraudulent deed on my multi million dollar home in Bartonville, to a stranger Vance Fisher for a fraction of the value. Months later when I was discharged from Skilled Nursing Rehab where I contracted Covid Hypoxia during rehab and ended up in ICU fighting for my life. When I finally returned home I found SQUATTERS living in my home, the 21 year old son of stranger Vance Fisher living in my home and using utilities in my name while stealing all of my mail and Amazon Prime packages delivered. Dr Jay is the "Mind Bender" of Orthopedic Surgeons--- simply the Best. PA Erin is also excellent. We've seen many before this practice, and this is the Pinnacle.???? Gratitude

6/23/21 - must wear THEIR mask, must answer c19 questions, must have temperature checked, must answer if have had a c19 test, and must answer if have had a covid vaccination before they will even give you paperwork to see the doctor. Felt like the gestapo came out when I refused to allow them to violate my hippa rights.

Dr. Bender put a knee replacement around 8 years ago and it still good. I have mild CP and my knee was bone. No doctor would take a chance. Dr Bender duo highly recommended Dr Bender.

Had a hip replacement and could not be happier with the results. Br. Bender, Erin Gear and the rest of the staff were so professional and courteous. I cannot say enough good things about them. Dr. Bender is the best orthopedic surgeon I have seen. He would rate excellent except the wait time is long. I had quality of life questions. A son was with me. Dr. Bender laid out what he thought could and should be done to deal with two bone on bone knees that are 85 years old. He explained his rationale by showing us the deterioration. This allowed for a short term plan and a long term solution. He is very good and my son said he was even worth the wait. Dr. Bender is the best orthopedic surgeon I have seen. Have not heard where I'm to get the MRI on my knee.

Excellent Dr. I highly recommend this man and his staff for all your orthopedic needs. I am so glad I found his after trying one of his less skilled competitors. I had a total knee replacement and after 2 weeks I was ready to go back to work with zero pain.

Dr Bender and his staff are the best. Dr Bender, in particular, is very customer service oriented and very patient friendly!!! Three weeks after a major operation, I am definitely benefiting from his surgical skills, knowledge, and his wonderful "bedside" manners. My sincere thanks for his dedication and service!!

I Love this place

Very professional and friendly.

Dr Bender is defintely a gifted surgeon. However, being in constant pain for over 2 months before surgery was not entertaining. Then when I go for follow up appointments I rarely see the doctor himself. Support staff never return my calls and promise to send records and orders for physical therapy and then has to be called twice before following through. I doubt that most of this is the doctor's fault except that perhaps there is a lack of supervision of support personnel. Dr Bender is defintely a gifted surgeon. He is a people person and shows great care and genuine concern for his patients.

Dr. Bender and his staff are top notch. Dr. Bender is a thorough and compassionate surgeon. His genuineness builds trust and confidence with his patients. I am fortunate to have such a quality physician.

Have waited 8 days for the doctor to provide required paperwork to the insurance company so an MRI he ordered could be done. Have broken bone still not treated properly. Some staff impatient.

Such a great Doctor, and WONDERFUL office staff!

Dr. Bender has a great bedside manner, very informative and knowledgeable. The staff is great, and his Physician Assistant Erin is awesome. I highly recommend this office.

Very good results of hip surgery

Would travel for hundreds of miles for his medical and surgery skills. Successful 5 surgeries included carpal tunnel on both hands, two trigger fingers and one thumb ligament cyst over 10 years ago.

Very compassionate, thorough, and knowledgeable. A pleasure to work with and talk to.
