Dr Rios has the best bedside manner, took his time listening to me about my injury and has a very conservative approach, would highly recommend him to any friend or family member!

Recently visited Dr. Rios over at his new location CLS Health. Wait time was minimal however I felt a little rushed during my consultation with Rios. I didn't leave with a definite answer on what was going on with my injury nor a plan to move forward. Simple over the counter remedies were instructed and I was in/out in a matter of minutes. Payment was also due prior to seeing him and they were pretty eager to re-book me in 6 weeks to re-evaluate my injury (after not much feedback was provided). Super nice guy and office but will be looking elsewhere for a solid diagnosis and professional advice to get better.

I fractured my ankle and Dr. Rios' took great care of me. He was patient, answered my questions, and listened to me. I experienced swelling after my cast was put on and he had me come in to expand the cast. He worked with me and took my concern seriously. He and his staff are very kind and know what they are doing.

Love Dr. Rios and the entire Houston Methodist staff. Everyone is pleasant and caring. All of the doctors in the system are first rate and up on current techniques and treatments. I can't say enough about the staff and their responsiveness to questions and concerns. I would highly recommend Amy doctor at Houston Methodist sports and orthopedic medicine in Clear Lake. I saw Dr. Rios for achilles tendon problem several years ago. He was great. Last year I suggested my wife see him for knee problems. She saw him several times and also gives him five stars.

Great doctor. But why does the office tell you to be there 30 minutes before your appt time? All we did when we arrived was give them our name, then we sat and waited for 30 minutes. It's disrespectful of our time.

Misdiagnosed a knee injury...super nice guy though.

My Mom had Kyroplatsty surgery at Methodist Hospital/Clear Lake in 2016. She started having issues with her back and when I called Dr. Rios office, I was told he no longer saw patients for back surgeries and was referred into a different doctor. Really? Dr. Rios helped me address the pain and issues I was having in my shoulder and helped me get on the road to a quick recovery.

I saw him a few years ago for a hematoma on my shin. After reviewing the x-ray with me, he drained it and the hematoma eventually got better without any complications. I am seeing him again tomorrow for a shoulder injury.

Good doctor! I hurt my hip pretty bad. I truly felt like it was going to be a surgical issue. Dr. Rios recommended physical therapy. To work particular muscles and stretching. I have no more pain 2.5 months later. The wait for my appointment was only 5 minutes.

I saw Dr Rios 2 days ago for a shoulder problem. I arrived early knowing there would be papers to fill out. I had just sat down when I was brought to a room. History was gathered, and I was promptly in x-Ray. I no sooner got back to the room, and the Doc came in. He was thorough in getting my history and with his exam. We discussed his diagnosis and a treatment plan. His technique while doing a steroid injection was flawless. He warned me of some residual discomfort following the injection...it was very tolerable. Dr Rios has a great patient manner. He is encouraging and open to offering non surgical options and at the same time reassuring that he and the medical staff at this Orthopedic Sport medicine clinic will be available for me. Scheduling: Office staff was able to get me in to see doc within 24 hours. Offered multiple options. Front desk staff: Extremely pleasant, efficient Doctor: Dr Rios listened to my concerns, asked appropriate questions, explained my diagnosis and treatment plan and made me feel confident in his abilities. I have already given his name to 3 people in need of a good orthopedic surgeon. I am very happy that I found Dr Rios.

Appt. at scheduled time. Staff efficient, which allowed my x-rays to be ready for the doctor. I have refused to have my knee(s) treated because I don't want surgery and figured I would wait until the pain was as bad as I believed a steroid injection would be. Dr. Rivas pointed out I essentially had no muscle tone (over 67) and that I needed my muscles to support by skeletal frame, including legs and knees. I have been sent to physical therapy. A doctor that listens to patients!!

First appointment for knee pain. Staff was VERY efficient in getting all of the x-rays complete and in to see Dr Rios. He listened to my concerns and reviewed and explained the x-rays and course of treatment. Very impressive and a great communicator! I was in and out quickly and efficiently. Very helpful and friendly staff! Post visit phone call was returned promptly and questions answered fully.

Dr. Rios and his entire staff are fantastic! Everyone was super nice. I was nervous about making an appointment for a minor hamstring pull, but as a runner, I didn't want it to get worse. Dr. Rios listened to my concerns, and after a thorough exam, provided me with a clear treatment plan. He patiently answered all of my questions. I would highly recommend Dr. Rios to anyone who asks!

Takes time to determine the cause of the problem and find a cure and/or ease the pain while listening to your concerns and suggestions. Not a let's operate on it quack! Appears more concerned for the patient and not just putting money in his pocket like so many other doctors. Highly recommend.........
