I have been going to Dr. Placer for several years. I was a women that was very active, a runner and biker. I have scoliosis and I needed a care plan that would help me to be able to do things I like and want to do. Dr Placer did that I don’t run any more but, I bike and swim. None of that I would be able to do without the guidance of him. I also learned that we need to be happy in where we are in life, our bodies change and we need to adapt. Staff is very courteous. Doctors are great. Medical assistant Edwin was awesome throughout the visit and procedure. Overall 5 stars. I understand now why it is so busy all the time.

I have left several messages for a refill and my pharmacy has also for one week several calls…no response.Called the Dr office today and was told that the office had clinicals all day and did not answer the phone,that this was their policy.She also very rudely told me that NO Pharmacy had called them,nor had I and she was going to fire me as a patient as she had that authority.This was 1:30pm EST today. The pharmacy has stated that they can’t send a fax to the office( it isn’t receiving messages) and they have had no returned calls. How do you get the Doctors attention to these problems.The inept staff is creating many problems for an excellent Doctor!

Dr. Javier Placer is one of a kind. He is compassionate and understands those suffering. He treats each patient with the utmost respect and provides expert treatment. I’ve been a patient of his since 2015.

I will start this review by saying my one interaction with Dr. Placer he seemed very nice and to care about helping me. Unfortunately his office staff is the worst I've ever seen. I had a follow up appointment scheduled for 8:30am on a Friday. I showed up to my appt and after paying my copay and checking in that Dr. Placer was not in the office today and was offsite doing procedures. I asked if these were emergency procedures or did they know ahead of time he wasn't going to be there. I was told they knew ahead of time. I then asked if they knew ahead of time why wasn't I called and informed this. They had no answer. They then asked if I was ok seeing their nurse practitioner instead of the doctor. Well I am all the way here already so why not. So I sat back down for another 5 minutes. They then come to me and inform me the NP does not have the tool needed to read my disc that has x-rays on it and that I will now have to reschedule for another day. So at this poin

The front office staff is Amazing! However on the day of my appointment the waiting room was very busy and I waited almost 2 hours on my first visit at the facility and didn’t even get the Dr Placer I got his assistant Dr Rayside who is very blunt to the point and not the best bedside manner, or compassion when I went in for hope of an injection for pain she started rattling off a ton of other options to try instead of an injection which is what this facility specializes in? I was not impressed with this doctor at all. Spent 1 hour 15 minutes in the room waiting for this doctor to come in. I was rudely greeted and he only spent 5 minutes in the room. No examination. Wasted his precious 5 minutes of time that he could have spent with someone else.. The nurse was rude when I told her I was not done. And I wanted to see the Dr again. Environment is beautiful and peaceful. The staff is polite and constantly interacts with you to ensure you are comfortable , keeping you updated as you wait. The medical team headed by Dr. Placer keeps me informed and involved with my plan of care, my progress and my "next steps".

Very hard to get an appointment. I waited an hour in the office after making one. They miscommunicated my need for X-rays. It took two days to reach anyone to reschedule an appointment. I do not recommend.

Worst office staff! I was referred to see doctor PLACER worst idea and biggest waste of time not to mention the embarrassment!!! The lady in the front who claims to be the office manager I believe it's Zelena and Desire also work desk are hatful people.
