TERRIBLE exp. at the Golden office, Dr. Sims. My husband went by EMS from work to ER for stroke symptoms. A CTscan & MRI ruled out stroke & blood clot. No concern for COVID. He was discharged with instructions to followup with his PCP the next day for full workup to determine the cause of dizziness, disorientation, and numbness to his hand. I called the office & explained the above, we were offered Dr. Sims. When we arrived to the "check in table" his temp was taken & was normal, then he was presented with a long list of "COVID symptoms" Dizziness was on the list which is why he was there. The receptionist told us to wait, not even offering my husband a chair even though he was dizzy & faint. 10 min later she stated that Dr. Sims REFUSED to see him because he had one symptom on their list. A 3pm COVID test was offered & said it would be 3 days for results. We left very upset & confused. His denial of care felt medically unethical! Urgent care saw & treated him AND he was COVID NEGATIVE

I have been searching for a quality PCP for a few years. So, I was very surprised/impressed with this office from the start. It was readily apparent that this was a professional and competent practice. Dr. Sims was very cognoscente of my concerns and has an excellent communication manner. We went over my medical history. He answered all of my questions... i never felt rushed. Overall, this visit was very much appreciated. This doctor and staff are genuine. Highly recommended...

Have not seen Dr. Sims in his new location yet but i found him 2 years ago and after our initial consultation & review chose him as my prinary care physician. He is very approachable, candid, straightforward, and practical in his assesments & recommendations. Will be sending my young adult son to see him as well.

He listens to you,and he will find the best solution for.your problem.i found him kind,professional and wise.Both my husband ,also a patient,and I recommend him without reservation.

He is a pleasant, approachable doctor who does not rush me. He seems to have all the answers, or will find them if he does not. I used to look for a female doctor, but he is far better than any previous doctors I have used.
