Dr. Jason K Potter

His office staff is very rude. We were told two times they take our insurance. Get there and wait for over an hour only to be told they don't. Very unpleasant experience.

I was diagnosed with breast cancer and needed a lumpectomy surgery. Feeling insecure about what I'd look like after, Dr Potter came to the rescue. After my lumpectomy, Dr Potter did a reconstructive lift. My oncology Dr recommended him and I went in with complete trust. The surgery went amazing. I look better than I did before the lumpectomy and lift. Even though I am a cup smaller from the lumpectomy, Dr Potter was able to lift my girls and perk them up! I was diagnosed over a year ago with breast cancer and had bi-lateral mastectomy and DIEP flap reconstruction. Dr. Potter was recommended to me by another cancer survivor. I'm so grateful! He and his staff are so kind, knowledgeable and compassionate! He is an incredibly skilled surgeon. I actually look better than I did going in. When the nursing staff checked me in for my surgeries, I was told he was the doctor they would choose if they needed work done. On some visits I've had a long wait, others, no wait. This is not about the doctor, is about the office, they leave you waiting for hours, they schedule many patients at same time and you have to wait long hours to get seen, the staff is horrible, good doctor with a MEDIOCRE staff!!!

Dr Potter is the kindest gentleman ever. I was having trouble with my insurance company, but he took care of me. Dr Potter was my reconstructive surgeon, two weeks ago, for my bilateral mastectomy. After reading other patients reviews of their experienced with this procedure (with other doctors), I was a little nervous. My recovery has been amazing. Dt Potter snd his staff are number one, no contest. They are all about loving their patients even though they’re very busy. I wholeheartedly, recommend Dr Potter and his practice!!! Going through with any consultation and surgery can be nerve-wracking. Especially since this was my first surgery, I was full of anxieties. Dr. Potter was there to reassure me every step of the way. He was genuine and compassionate through out the whole process, which made me feel comfortable. Him and his staff were probably the most intellectual group I've ever came across. They know their stuff! Any questions or concerns I had, were answered immediately. Dr. Potter and his staff are very professional and have been extremely caring through my breast cancer surgery phases (expanders thru reconstruction). Although sometimes the wait is a little long, that is OK, b/c it is well worth the wait to have such expertise and precision from a plastic surgeon. During my appt's I have never felt rushed and all of my questions were answered and addressed. Dr. Potter is fabulous at what he does, I would definitely recommend him. I just recently had 3 major surgeries (mommy makeover) done by Dr. Potter. The procedures were successful, and I was walking easily from day 2 of recovery. Dr. Potter is a very knowledgeable, experienced, and skilled plastic surgeon. Not only that, he gives personal attention to each of his patients. It warmed my heart to know that Dr. Potter personally called my boyfriend to check up on me after I was sent home from hospital. His team of nurses and office staff are always welcoming and comforting. For anybody considering a cosmetic procedure, I highly recommend Dr. Potter. Doctor James Potter came highly recommended, and i needing reconstructive surgery after cancer went to see him. I explained to him and his assistant what i wanted. He took measurements and marked me with a pen and said okay. The surgery appointment was made and a few weeks before surgery his office called and asked me what was he doing for me, i repeated my request and than she stated “ we like to ask just to make sure we still on the same plan.” The day of pre- opt i was also asked about what the procedure would be i stated my procedure again. The day of the surgery the nurse came in and asked again what my procdure would be again i stated the plan and she said okay looks good. Doctor Potter showed up and aske me to sit up for he needed to do makings, than he asked me reminds me again what am i doing for you i repeated the plan and this is where i was in disbelief doctor Potter stated he couldn’t do what we had planned WHY !! We had discussed this in his office now he was telling me no not possible, he offered a liposuction on the Breast that was good NO i said, he offered to reconstruct a nipple which we had never even talked about. At this point after being caught off guard and having waited since 4am with my family i was so upset that i said just do the nipple. What i should have done was walked out. Dr. Jason Potter does excellent work, and could not have been kinder to us through a challenging time dealing with cancer. I owe Dr. Potter more than I can ever repay. Truly an answer to prayer.

I was diagnosed with breast cancer and had bilateral mastectomies last year and was referred to Dr. Lemmon for reconstruction. Dr. Canavan was my breast surgeon. Dr. Lemmon and Dr. Potter did my breast reconstruction with my own abdominal tissue at the Baylor hospital in Plano. I met Dr. Potter in the hospital after surgery since he works with Dr. Lemmon as a team. He is a true gentleman and very caring. I am so thankful to have such a great team of doctors. Thank you ALL! Dr Potter was very compassionate to me while going through reconstruction. He is an amazingly gifted surgeon. I highly recommend Dr Potter and his staff. You will not be disappointed. He is quite busy because he is that good so you may have to wait. But he is well worth it!!

Dr Potter is an absolute genius when it comes to breast cancer reconstruction. You can't get any better .

This physician is amazing! He does beautiful work, is very kind and reassuring throughout the entire treatment! Top Notch.
