Was a great doctor for our family for nearly 14 years until he decided to sign a political statement based off unfounded and unrelated data that supports schools taking away my rights as a parent. Hill country medical does not allow us to contact him directly so I have no option but to report my disgust here. Thank you for all the great treatment. As a doctor, you where good. As a human being, I am severely disappointed with your decision to support this and take away my rights as a parent. We fired you Friday. We found a doctor that did not sign on to this. Farewell.

I love Dr. Nelson! I have Stage 4 cancer, and have been trying to find a decent PCP for about 2 years now. I wish I started off with him. He is amazing! Super friendly, patient, thorough, and always spends plenty of time with me. His staff is also great at returning calls and getting me in when needed.

I am very disappointed in Dr Jason Nelson as a Dr. and the lack of loyalty he shows for his patients! My mother has been going to Dr Nelson for at least 25 years. Now that she is 84 years old and reaching other challenges in her life he has shown his lack of loyalty to her needs! As her daughter we have been left in a position to make a decision on proper placement due to her challenges. When I reached out and called Dr Nelson for guidance because my mother trusted him. Not only did he not call me, but, he put his PA on the phone to speak for him! I could hear him in the background. Basically he suggested using a different Dr because he didn’t go to the facilities I was inquiring about! When I ask if he would make an exception due to the circumstances to help guide us in the right direction he had his PA make up an excuse! So Dr. Nelson I’m going to say here and to the public, thank you for showing your lack of loyalty from a woman that had full confidence in you for all of these yearsand believed in you! However we will not take this personal for we know this must be how you treat all of your aging patients! Oh Mrs. Who that thought I cared about her? Next...... Dr. Nelson has always gone above and beyond to take care of all of my health needs. He is widely known in the community of New Braunfels for doing his best to take care of his many patients.
