Dr. Koreckij pinpointed the problem and showed me on the screen in his office. He discussed options and recommended an injection in the L3 nerve. It worked and I’m better than I’ve been in years. I appreciated his calm, clear, concise manner. Highly recommend!

As always Dr. Koreckij was kind snd a straight shooter in his diagnosis and plan for treatment. He was able to schedule my surgery around my granddaughters 16 birthday!

He makes you feel relaxed, gives you everything you need to know to make a decision on to or not to have surgery, & tells you straight out what the chances will be for helping or curing the problem. He’s not afraid to sit back & talk with you on other options. As a 73 year old woman, I personally appreciate all the help I can get & he’s been wonderful with getting me to the right decision. You can tell this doctor loves helping people…it’s not just a job & paycheck with Dr Koreckij!

For the last 10 years I’ve been experiencing worsening back pain and have been told it’s just normal arthritis, I’m glad I made the appointment for a second opinion just wish I would have sooner. The doctor and staff listened to my concerns and made me feel heard. The doctor explained to me showing me on my X-ray I had brought from my previous doctor where I have a degenerative problem on one of my discs where it’s basically no longer there explaining my pain. It’s honestly such a relief knowing that there’s something wrong that can be treated, for the longest time I’d just resigned myself to dealing with pain and feeling like I was a baby over reacting about a little arthritis. I’m really hopeful about treatment and can’t say enough about how great the doctor and staff are. I would definitely recommend anyone experiencing pain to get a second opinion here like I did if you think something is wrong, just don’t wait 10 years like me.

My surgery went exactly as Dr Koreckij said it would. He doesn’t push you into surgery right away, but uses PT, steroids, and injections before surgery. Oh, and by the way, he is a genius with a scalpel!

My visit was informative & what a great guy Dr. Koreckij was to speak with. Very down to earth & explained things in terms that were easy to understand. Also, wasn’t quick to recommend surgery & quite the opposite. Really enjoyed my visit with him & look forward to the follow ups.

Dr. Korecji is a great Doctor. I highly recommend him. I had lower back surgery in 2019 and I’m doing great. Besides being a top surgeon he has a wonderful bed side manner.

My follow up appointments have all went very well. Dr Koreckij has always insured that I was well informed about any issues that might arise from my surgery. They were very prompt when it comes to appointments, in and out very quick. If I need any further surgeries, I will definitely go back to him.

Dr Koreckji listened to my problems. He planned a very good approach to identifying and treating the issues once all the tests are done.I am very pleased so far with his ability and expertise to solve my medical issues.

ONLY because none of us are perfect, I gave Dr. Koreckij four stars. He really is a five star guy! Very upfront matter of fact calming presence informative honest. I have a lot of respect for him. Not looking forward to what’s coming up for me surgery wise, but SO Glad to be in his hands!

Dr. Koreckij is awesome. He is always honest with you about the procedure, results, expectations and outcomes. He has taken great care of of since my back surgery 6 years ago. I highly recommend him and COG to anyone.

He’s very knowledgeable, down to earth, has a great sense of humor, and he’s an awesome surgeon! He did surgery on my neck in 2017 and I’m doing great!

He was very professional, and empathetic to my issues that I presented to him! Gave me options that we could do to help relieve some of my pain. I was very pleased to hear what his opinion was, and the fact that he told me to try what I had started for a month. If no change, and ready to try another option to call him. I will be calling him if things don’t turn around for the better!

The customer service was great. I was registered & checked in w/out waiting even 5 minutes. Everybody was courteous and very helpful. Dr. Koreckij was very helpful & explained my x-rays & answered all my questions. I would gladly refer everybody to this doctor. He was straight forward & tells you like it is. He tries everything else to help you before surgery.

My review will not do Dr. Koreckij justice. If you're having any back issues, you must see this doctor. I was having issues with low back/pelvic pain, and I was trying to rule out all possible causes. I went to Koreckij because I work in healthcare and have seen firsthand his amazing work. He is incredibly thorough, kind, sharp, and patient. You will instantly feel at ease with him, and he takes the time to talk with you like a regular person. I've seen and worked with a lot of docs in my time, but few do I hold in such esteem as this guy. Do yourself a favor and see him.

Definitely. Apptmt was to f/u visit one year ago for low back pain issue. At that time, of the treatment options presented by Dr. K, I chose PT. It was very helpful, but I didn't stay with the recommended exercises like zi should have done. My low back pain returned with a vengeance the last 3 months, prompting the recent vist. After a review of xrays and MRI, Dr. K identified my current problem as an inflamation in my L1 and L2 vertabrae, and again reviewed the various treatment options, but recommended an epidural injection in my spine. I was very apprehensive about it, but was assured there was nothing to it, only some minor discomfort. Dr. K set me up for the epidural with Dr. Newton, a pain management specialist, the same day. It was a piece of cake, and my low back pain is all but gone. Couldn't be happier with the Columbia Orthpedic Group, and the very talented doctors that work there.

Dr Koreckij has an excellent bedside manner and is very easy to talk to. He will always be honest with you, is an excellent surgeon and he took good care of me. I appreciated his efforts in keeping family members advised of what is going on. I would recommend Dr Koreckij to anyone.

Dr. Koreckij took time to explain things. And the risks involved which you can appreciate. Have not had surgery yet as he is trying conservative route first. Seems to be caring plan to continue the process with him with my back as that is his speciality.

Dr. Koreckij performed my anterior interbody lumbar spinal fusion surgery on my L4, L5, and S1 back in July, and I'm already cleared to go back to work on September 10. This guy and his staff are amazing people and I will gladly recommend Dr. Koreckij to anyone. Thank you so much for taking such great care of me. You guys are rockstars!

I chose Columbia Orthopaedic many years ago. I have since moved two hours away but I have NEVER considered another ortho, other than Dr. Koreckij!!!! He has gained my utmost trust and confidence, even that continues to grow!! Starla is an asset to Dr. Koreckij’s excellence!!!

I have never been less satisfied with a physician in my life. I was referred to this physician for back pain (had 1 spinal surgery already). After reviewing my case he refused to even schedule an appointment with me or refer me to another physician. I was told by (his very confrontational) assistant to contact my previous spinal surgeon. When I said that was not practical (he's no longer practicing) I was told i could schedule an appointment with whoever i want but that it would not be with him.

Definitely would highly recommend Dr. K. Thoroughly reviewed the X-rays, my condition, and suggested next steps. After doing my research with other Drs, nurses, and patients, I see why he was recommended.

Dr. Koreckij was very informative and explained our situation very well. We liked the fact that he felt surgery was the last resort . He proposed other options before surgery.

I was referred to Dr. Koreckij by another doctoer at COG. I was very impressed when he explained everything abput my diagnosis.

Dr. Koreckij is so personable. He took a lot of time to explain my diagnosis and treatment plan and didn't act like my questions were a bother to him at all. He's the kind of Dr that makes you feel as though you are his only patient. Not just a number. Calling and making an appointment and not knowing who you'll see is nerve racking for me but I feel like I got very lucky this time.

Dr. Koreckij is an excellent surgeon and doctor. He always takes the time to fully explain what is going on with my spine, what to look forward to down the road, and what my options are. Dr. K has done one surgery on me and I wouldn't trust anyone else to do my next one. This is a doctor who truly cares.

I saw Dr Koreckij with very painful hip . I thought my hip inplant was failing... very worried.. after X-rays ruled that out he touched one spot on my hip " ouch! and that spot was my problem .. Bursitis... An injection followed and within 4 days my pain was gone What a Relief!

After enduring back and shoulder pain for 18 months, I finally made an appointment with COG. My family physician had told me that I needed physical therapy before I could have any imaging done. After 10 PT sessions, the PT said there was nothing further they could do. Dr. Koreckij ordered X-rays at my first appointment then a week later an MRI and same day steroid injection. I was pain free within 10 days of meeting him. I am very pleased with the results and efficiency of Dr. Koreckij and COG!

With nearly 20 surgeries throughout the years for various injuries from sports and a vehicle accident, I've met MANY Dr.'s Dr Koreckij was probably the best I've ever consulted with. I typically don't give reviews but I was thoroughly impressed. He was informative, very liberal with his time, so descriptive I could understand things way above my expertise, and most importantly seemed to be a genuine human being. He dealt me some tough news to swallow and yet I couldn't have been more pleased

Waiting time was unbelievably short! I met Dr.Koreckij for the first time and he listened to me and I listened to him give me advice. It's pretty refreshing to someone my age to get an honest opinion and a genuine bit of advice at a doctor's office. He whole staff is that way. I'm going back to have the procedure he recommended.

On a scale of one to ten, with ten being the best, I would give Dr. Koreckij at least an 11. He's friendly, compassionate and extremely competent.

Of all the doctors I have been to see, there were only 4 who instilled the confidence and safe feeling that you were with a person who truly became a doctor who cared about people and their comfort. Dr Koreckij is one of them. None of us of age, especially males, like to see a doctor. If you need information on your problem, do not hesitate to see Dr Koreckij !
