my wife and I both have been going to Dr Karp for almost 10 years he is professional, caring and most knowledgeable. Had asked for a second opinion and I am very glad I did. He gave me test the other doctor never did. He told me what my problem was right away. I am so glad I switched doctors.

Dr. Karp was extremely rude. Made a comment that was totally inappropriate. Took almost 2 weeks to get 2 meds! One of them being the solution that goes into a nebulizer! Nightmare!!! Will not be returning.

Dr. Karp is the probably the best doctor I have seen. He has pristine bed side manner and comes up with real solutions for complicated respiratory problems. Dr Jason Karp is one of the BEST Doctor I have ever gone to. Very respectful and polite. He gives the patience all the time they need and comes up with solutions. I highly recommend him.

Dr. Karp is completely overwhelmed. Every time I scheduled an appointment the staff cancelled my appointments or refer me to the nurse practitioner. I have been 4 years with him and I still don't know my diagnosis.

Dr. Karp and Dr Salina ( his assistant- she is as amazing as he is) are such wonderful and caring doctors you’ll be so grateful that you went to them should you need to. I had gotten very sick back in February. I woke up one morning having trouble breathing so I fax them, Dr Karp was away but Dr Salina called me immediately and told me to come in as soon i I could.As Soon as I got to the office she took me in she assessed me I wound up having whooping cough. She sent me to the lab afterwards and that’s what they said. It took me a while to get better but her regiment helped me immensely I am so grateful to them. Mind you this is the first time I’ve had an incident like this so I was very blessed to have found them. Later on it came out that there was the covert virus on they had me get tested to make sure that it wasn’t that and thankfully it wasn’t. I am not sure how long Dr. Karp has been my pulmonary doctor, but I do know he pretty much saved my life many years ago after going to many doctors: GP, ENT and a different pulmonary doctor and none of them realizing I had walking pneumonia for 5 months when I was gasping for air. One of my friends recommended Dr. Karp because she felt he saved her mother's life. Dr. Karp did some blood work and breathing tests on me that gave him the answers. Dr. Jason Karp super excellent pulmonary doctor. His diagnosis is right on the target. Treatment plan is outstanding. His explanations/teachings are very easy to understand. He is always a patient advocate . i will recommend him to anyone/everyone who has any kind of pulmonary discomforts/diagnosis.

Dr Karp is a caring, brilliant physician who I would strongly recommend. His office staff is polite and helpful. Recently when I contracted Covid-19 he prescribed antibody infusion which saved my lungs from the virus. Thank you Dr Karp. Scott W

Dr Karp is a good Doctor, but his staff is rude and never returns calls..If you are a new patient and are calling for an appointment be prepared to wait a few days for someone to call you back to schedule an appointment

Dr Karp is a great doctor, however his office staff leaves a lot to be desired, they have NO follow up skills they never return calls and if you call the person who answers the phone will tell you "I will have someone call you back it will take 24 to 48 hours no matter what it is and they never do " I will find a new doctor

Not only on outstanding pulmonologist, he treats the whole person using both natural remedies and advanced medications. Doctor Karp was the best, but he seems he is overwhelmed with patients. It is my believe that his office, staff and Northwell is slowly tearing him down. He spends more time dictating to his typist than he does answering the patients questions. How many messages do I have to leave with his staff before I receive a reply. 1, 2, 3, 4, ..........

Great Doctor, Horrible Support Staff. Dr. Karp is clearly a superior doctor, diagnostician. But his support staff can't pass the ball, they fumble most everything, they do not return calls same day. They NEVER answer the phone. They totally sabotage their doctor's reputation. Dr Karp elicits confidence in his patients, but his optimism is fantasy because his staff fails to follow through. I doubt he even is aware that the patient is left hanging without resolutions. (I sure hope he's not)

The Physician is excellent and keeps long hours that should accommodate almost everyone. But the administration/office management, before you get to his office, is poor. It is difficult to get through to a human being and you are regarded as a distraction rather than as a client.

I would give him 0 stars if it were an option! Utterly dissatisfied with Dr. Karp & his office staff. My parents have been with Dr. Karp for over 10 years. I called the office for an appointment as my mom was unwell. I was told and I quote, “ we’re booked solid , and won’t be able to fit her in for several days. If she’s that sick, take her to urgent care.” Really?Absolutely disgusting. Most of the time you are seen by his Nurse for appointments. Why make an appointment to see him if you will be examined & treated by his nurse exclusively? Evidently, Dr. Karp is completely overwhelmed, and it shows. When you actually do get appointment with him, he spends most of the time answering phone calls & signing paperwork. He is so distracted that he asked us the same question 4x in a row. This is unacceptable, and we will be looking for a new pulmonologist. One who offers individualized care, and attention each patient deserves & pays for. This man has saved my life twice through his diligence & perfectionism He's more than caring & treats each person as if we are his only special patient. My luckiest day was the day when I found him.

Dr. Karp is the epitome of the word doctor. He is kind, caring, thorough, knowledgable, and most importantly treats his patients as someone would treat family. He never rushes through the exam and there is hardly ever a wait time. Dr. Karp takes the time to know his patients and their symptoms. Because of this he knew to send me directly to the Emergency Department instead of coming to see him in his office. This saved my life. He will always be my doctor. The worst. He was my mother’s pulmonologist. She loved him because he made a fuss over her for the two minutes he spent with her before leaving the room. He failed to diagnose illnesses and dismissed her concerns. Stay away!

Dr.Karp's office is extremely caring and professional. The staff is amazing, especially the front where you check in. I did not actually see the Dr. but I had the pleasure of being the NP's patient and she was aaaamazing. She took her time with me and made sure I understood exactly why I was having this consistent coughing and congestion. I would recommend to my family and friends.

I ended up in the Emergency Room with pneumonia. Dr. Karp was the pulmonary attending at the moment. He knew exactly how to treat me and instituted treatment right away. After discharge, I went to another pulmonary doctor, who is very nice, but not up on the latest care. So, I saw Dr. Karp again. Wow! He instituted some new treatment and knows exactly what I am feeling. On point!

I've been with Dr. Karp since 1999! He is by far the BEST doctor I've had the pleasure of being his patient. He's gone through many ups and downs with me. I've moved to Florida and make sure I come back every 4 months to see him. He takes his time and explains everything I need to know. He will return your call if you need him for anything. I've sent my whole family to him! Do yourself a big favor and make an appointment!

Dr. Karp is quick yet thorough. He makes you feel at ease and he has a wonderful bedside manner. My mother loved him and so do I. He also has the knowledge and expertise to recommend trying natural products for common ailments. I highly recommend him.

All I can say is that he is the best.

All doctors are smart. they must be to become doctors. However Dr Karp is not only smart, he is sharp. Knows his specialty to the minute details and is quick to connect all the dots. Superior analytical skills. If you have pulmonary issues, this would be the doctor visit.

Dr. Karp is the finest doctor I have ever known. He diagnosed a fatal condition and made sure that I received the best chance for a successful outcome. 15 years later I am not only still alive I am in the best physical condition I have been in since I was a teenager. He is professional, compassionate and an extremely gifted diagnostician and practitioner.
