Dr. Jason A Kallestad

Dr Kallestad is the epitome of empathy, comfort, kind bedside manner, respect! I believe that he has been the best thing for my 86 year old Dad who was able to put his trust in Dr Kallestad like no other Dr. Every situation is different and Dr Kallestad is not there to cure, he is not there to diagnose - he is there for comfort care and his recommendations have given my Dad his quality of life back and for that our family is truly grateful. The staff was helpful, the initial appt lasted 2 hours, he listened to every concern my dad had, there was no rush in his manner and his recommendations for medication and ease of access to his office staff have made this an easy decision to continue with.

Don't bother. There is no palliative care team. He failed to mention while setting up the appointment. Lacks everything I'm looking for. But I believe as he fled the office, he accepted me. No thank you doctor? I'm more of a doctor. I had, have to be. Keep looking. Or delve into him before going to see him. Wasted time. Draining, damaging. Not a bit interested or ??? ??? ???knowledgable in my complex, not really, situation. Too challenging l suspect? Learn! Dr! Didn't ask me anything. Take it Dr! If only there was a team? Empathy isn't his strong suit. Understated. I'm truly in a state of WTH? I'm hopeless. I'm out of options. I'm done. I surrender. I'll take charge of it? Whatever the blank that means, looks like. You did me in. You are completely unaware of my condition. Great. You lack respect. You just lack period. Good luck to all people looking for comfort, support, basic human kindness and respect. You're all great. Worthy of more. Keep searching. He's not it. Blessings.
