I've gotten work done by Dr. Hess twice now (two scar revisions), and even though cosmetic surgery is not comfortable, and can be painful, Dr. Hess really does his best to make it a great experience. I could talk to this guy for hours on end, he and his staff are so lovely! His attention to detail is immaculate and people can't even tell I suffered from a traumatic injury. He's also very reasonable when it comes to pricing, and the clinic is clean and easy to get to. I felt very much a part of the entire process from beginning to end. He explained in great detail everything he considered and would be doing and why. Dr. Jason Hess is THE BEST plastic surgeon in San Diego, if not all of California! He is so incredibly kind and personable, as well as the entire office staff! Dr. Hess gets to know you, and genuinely wants to make you happy! Let me start by saying that Dr. Hess is the best!! I had a Tummy Tuck/Liposuction on December of 2020 and his work was amazing and very precise. Dr. Hess is kind, very honest to any questions you may have and very much a professional surgeon. He gave me the best looking bellybutton and my scar looks amazing! I was very pleased. Dr. Hess is the BEST! Extremely happy with the outcome of my procedure. I am a 63 years old woman, who had four children all c-sections, a big incision scar from my gallbladder removal back in the 90’s, a stomach that was large and excessive skin that draped around my clothing. After talking to Dr. Hess he recommended the best procedure that will give me the best results and that made the most sense to me. He performed an advanced type of tummy tuck called a “fleur-de-lis” abdominoplasty. Dr. Hess transformed my stomach by removing 10 lbs. of fat and extra skin and old scar. It’s been seven months since my procedure. I am super happy with my results, dramatic improvement in both abdominal skin and muscle tone. He has a good bedside manner. Dr. Hess listens and delivers! He spent 1.5 hours with me during the free consultation and answers all my questions and concerns, without making me feel rushed. I asked if he can do rapid recovery technique and if he would inject a long acting anesthesia to the area and he said yes. Surgery was 10/29, went trick or treating on the 30th and drove my daughter to school on the 1st. My recovery was so easy! He checked on my from his personal cell two hours after I got home, and always answer my text when I had questions, I don't hear many doctors who does that! He's also a perfectionist and really meticulous at what he's doing. I don't get frankenboobs like many women do when they get augmentation. My breasts look like twin sisters instead of distance cousins, they look symmetrical! When I first discovered him, I thought he was too good to be true. Absolutely fantastic experience! Doctor Hess is such a caring and empathetic doctor. It seemed as if most plastic surgeons I visited were doing it to support a lavish lifestyle. Dr Hess genuinely cares about his patients and the desired outcome. The actual procedure was easier than I expected. Dr Hess and his staff make sure that you are prepared for pre-op and post-op. Dr. Hess gave me a new lease on life with his care and remarkable expertise. I had breast reduction surgery to alleviate pain and stress to my spine and shoulders. I had my consultation a few days ago and I can’t get over how amazing Dr. Hess and his staff were! He spent a good 45 minutes with me answering my questions and concerns. He was so polite, I didn’t feel rushed at all like I have been at other offices. His assistant was so nice and spent a lot of time with me talking about implants and picking out the perfect size. And to top it all off he has the best prices I’ve seen by far in San Diego. Dr. Hess performed my mommy makeover (tummy tuck, hernia repair and breast augmentation) after having twins. I absolutely love my results!! I had prior consultations with other surgeons but felt immediately comfortable with Dr. Hess. He never pressured me into specific procedures. Dr. Hess performed facial surgery on my husband after skin cancer surgery. He did an outstanding job, but more importantly he was caring and took the time to explain the procedures and what would be the aftermath. We could not have asked for a better surgeon.
