Surprised to see anything but five stars here… Dr Hanft helped diagnose and fix my foot (I was suffering from metatarsal issues) in a few weeks. This was several years ago. I was looking him up again because now I’m having different foot issues on my other foot and I know he will be able to help. He’s great! Helped a friend of mine with her foot, which is how I found him. I’ve since recommended him to other friends as well and they have all been happy. I have been taking my kids to this office for years now, 7 years to be exact. All three of my kids are (were) Dr. Hanft’s patients. Anyone who asked I recommended him. My in-laws go to him, friends etc. There apparently was some biling issues with my insurance on one of my kids and her visit went unpaid. All I received was “1” call before sending my account to collections! One call in the middle of a pandemic. They claim they sent 6 paper statements but I did not receive a single one. This is absolutely unacceptable way to treat long time loyal patients. I still have the voicemail and there is no urgency nor any mention of unpaid balances etc. my insurance is the same for my other 2 kids which is why I don’t understand why they didn’t investigate further. Like mentioned in previous reviews the front office staff is rude and unprofessional. Do not go to this office. I have been taking my kids to this office for years now, 7 years to be exact. Dr Hanft was refered to me by my primary physician, what a horrible physician. He prescribed a $70 ointment to use that is not covered by insurance, positive he just did to get kick back. Was absolute waste. Then when I went back he charged me $70 for another ointment and said because it's my foot I need physical therapy to make sure it gets into skin. Could have said that the first time. He is only about billing you and your insurance he doesn't give a damn about you. Seems like a nice guy butd don't be fooled, horrible physician. Stay Away. Jason has taken amazing care of my family I consider him a personal friend.

Dr. Donna Blythe recommended Dr. Hanft to me many years ago, i can still remember how pleasant and professional he was. Definitely recommend him for anyone looking for a good podiatrist

Dr. Hanft is so genuine, kind and knowledgeable. My son had been limping around everywhere, and within 30 seconds of evaluating him, he confidently gave us a plan to correct it. Infinitely better than what we experienced at the pediatrician. We were seen quickly and the office personnel were efficient and attentive.

Dr. Hanft gave me a foot brace which I thought would be covered by Medicare but was not. He also placed lifts in my shoes that I did not request nor was I told about until I was billed. Very unprofessional.

Dr. Hanft is a very good doctor. The woman at the front desk is rude, dismissive and unprofessional. When you arrive, there isn’t anyone at the window to greet you. The staff member is on the opposite side of the office and doesn’t acknowledge your presence. When you try to get her attention with an excuse me, she snaps your head off. Very nasty person and for that reason you should find another doctor.

Dr. Hanft is a wonderful clinical and diagnostician. His staff at the front desk is extremely unhelpful, condescending and downright rude. With so many physicians to choose from, you can find another office were they treat you with kindness and respect.

Dr Hanft is knowledgeable and knows how to deal with people with a great bedside manner. I highly recommend him

excellent experience. As a child I've had ingrown toenail problems that started to persist into my adulthood. The surgery is usually done with only local anesthesia but Dr.Hanft accommodated my psychological needs and allowed a sedative procedure instead. The practice may be a little rough around the edges but Dr.Haft is a capable and accommodating Doctor

This is a review to not recommend Doctor Jason Hanft due to being very unprofessional. He saw my daughter several times and misdiagnosed the condition of her foot. He asked for several MRIs since he missed on the first one the real problems affecting her. Afterwards, my daughters leg got worse even though we were following his instructions to the T. My daughter foot got very swollen and he did not accept seeing her, even though it was urgent. They are very rude!

After waiting in his office for hours, his nasty employees dump you in a room. The doctor gives you no time and is a mean crank. Do not bother going there. Stay away.
