Dr. Jason Alan Genin

Fabulous doctor. Thinks outside the box. I’ve had 3 knee surgeries and have been told by multiple physicians that the next step would be knee replacement and I had no other options. I’m not willing to stop high impact sports because it is what makes me happy. I can’t have cortisone because of my diabetes. Dr Genin was understanding and agreed the next surgery might be a replace but suggested we try a procedure that has made me feel like I have new knees (or at least operational knees for someone my age??)! Even when I wasn’t sure if I had any options or if insurance would cover the option he suggested, Dr Genin helped me with his positive attitude and encouragement alone. He is a good man that just being around him makes you happy and gives you hope...even when the outlook doesn’t look hopeful.

Very professional and let me know actually what the options are. I am very pleased with him and his staff. I will recommend to my patients most definitely.

Had the best experience with Dr. Genin with an innovative approach to shoulder calcification which allowed me to avoid extensive shoulder reconstruction. Great guy - smart, thinking out of the box, caring, funny. Result has been excellent.

I saw Dr. Genin when I was having bone on bone knee issues . I am a runner, and could barely walk without pain let alone run. I told him that I really wanted to get back to my sport, and remain active in other areas of my life. I also did not want to do a knee replacement at that time. He gave me a cortisone shot per my insurance's requirement stating that it would not last, which was true. He then gave me a series of gel shots to the knee. Extremely condescending, especially to women!! He does not listen and appears to be in a hurry to get to the next appt. Interrupts you mid sentence to get to his next thought.... Left numerous times feeling nobody was listening. If you have a work-related issue or need to return to work, good luck! Told us several times it is not his concern. His staff are all kind and efficient people. They at least take time to listen and assist where needed.

I’m not sure exactly what the other patient is saying with her negative review but if it where not for Dr. Genin I would be in terrible shape. This man has fixed numerous areas in my arthritic body and has given me relief and hope. I have never met a doctor so dedicated to his patients and their care. He knows what he is talking about and knows the proper plan for each individual patient, I am living proof of it. dr genin and his office are always very helpful. I love that he thinks out the box and offers treatments most drs do not even consider. I had a hard time accepting that I need a hip replacement but he has went above and beyond to make sure that my pain was decreased and that all options were explored before I get my hip replaced. Kudos to him and Cheryl becaue they have put up with me and helped me the last few years. I would refer anyone to him. Don’t believe what the other people say on here.

Awful experience! Dr. Genin is very cocky and arrogant. He reprimanded me like I was a little kid and I told him he was being very rude. He told me I was being rude and told his nurse to come in so he could finish the conversation with me so he could have a witness. Unbelievable. I have never in my life had a doctor treat me in such a horrible manner. He berated me and belittled me. He didn’t give me an opportunity to explain my problem and just started talking the minute he came in the room and told me I should go home and exercise so my foot pain will go away. He actually started telling me about doctors in England and what they say. He then said let me finish what I was saying and people in England are human too. I was like what!? I told him I don’t give a hoot about doctors in England. I am here in the United States and I’m sitting in front of you and I have a severe problem and I am in pain and I am asking you for help. I have a very severe problem in my feet and ankle and I wasn’t done asking questions and he told me that he was done. He told me “listen here, I’m the doctor.” He said to me “you are not a physician.” I told him I am the patient. I left there in tears! Awful doctor. Cocky,, arrogant, belittling, and will berate you!! As another person on this website wrote, I also left the office in tears. There is something wrong with this doctor. He has a horrible attitude and does nothing but scold you. The nerve of him to tell somebody they are fat. He should look in the mirror! The minute he sat down with me he just started telling me about studies in England and I should go home and exercise my feet and do my part. Didn’t even listen to me.

Left several messages for an appointment. Sine I am a current patient now have a severe problem I figured I would receive a call With a appointment. After numerous calls and messages sent, there was no response. Good thing the growth thy spontaneously occurred on the back of my knee was not cancer but I had to learn that from a random MD because Dr Genin DID NOT respond. Do NOT go to this physician

I saw him after being hit by a car. I was sent to physical therapy without ever doing an mri. I told him it was getting worse with therapy. well ... his reply. "your too fat". He also said, "this would have happened to you in your 70's anyway". I even talked to his nurse after leaving his Avon office in tears. Well, 2nd opinion, meniscus tear...thank you so much for worrying more about my appearance than the current situation. BTW...before the accident loss of over 100 pounds. Thanks for nothing
