Dr. Jason E Cooper

I am so unbelievably disappointed with Dr. Cooper. I had no problems throughout my pregnancy, he was informative, helpful and kind. The only complaint we had was that my appointments were always running late. He saw me for an appointment two days before I subsequently went into labor on my own at 37 weeks. He gave me a business card with numbers, should I go into labor...it was just the hospital nurse line, which I was a little confused by, but I went with it. After being admitted I discovered he would not be delivering my baby...big hospital, okay, on staff Obgyn would do it, he wouldn't be called in, as I foolishly expected. I get it, but I wish that would have been mentioned at least one time my ENTIRE pregnancy. My (amazing) L&D nurse delivered our son with zero complications, with zero help too, minus my husband and I (crazy, but magical nonetheless). The days following I never saw Dr. Cooper. Not once. I had a little scare and requested to see him, nothing, ignored. The day I was discharged I was informed he was "online" or in the building that day AND the entire day before, so he was there, but we weren't important enough to take up even 5 minutes of his time. We waited HOURS to have him come by and check me out so we could (Finally) take our wonderful little fella home and reunite with our very much missed Little Love at home. After hours, a hospital rep came by to ask about my stay. I told her I hadn't seen Cooper the whole time and she was shocked, telling me she would make sure he came by asap. Nope. More time passed and my nurse informed me he had "an emergency at another location"... That we could meet him there!... Absolutely not. He apparently called me in prescription, which I never picked up, as I never spoke to him in regards to anything... It's been a month and I haven't heard anything from him or his office. I just had my postpartum appointment with another doctor. I genuinely wish I would have gone to her from the start. My husband and I both are literally so disappointed with Dr. Cooper. We never got to finish out our pregnancy journey with him. It may sound dumb or sensitive, but it meant a lot to both of us to have a great relationship with the person who would bring our child into the world and we felt robbed of that, but of any end to this journey with him. I've spoke to The Woman's Hospital a few times and they appear to be just as disappointed as we are. Disappointed and surprised. He was great throughout pregnancy, minus punctuality, but we cannot believe how we were essentially "ghosted" by a healthcare provider seen quite frequently for nearly a year, no issues, appointments full of joy and excitement, but maybe it was one sided. Regardless, at the end of the day, we have our beautiful little loves in our arms, happy and healthy. However, I don't recommend Dr. Cooper for pregnancy, nor do I recommend the Woman's Hospital. Dr. Cooper was recommended to me by a friend as I had recently moved to Houston prior to my first pregnancy. I owe her EVERYTHING because Dr. Cooper is absolutely the best. Throughout the entire pregnancy Dr. Cooper put me at ease, was extremely informative, and always made sure my concerns and opinions were heard when making any decisions. I had some complications early on during my pregnancy and through everything he truly was a phenomenal doctor. His bedside manner, knowledge, understanding and genuine personality are top notch. His staff was also incredibly friendly, readily available for last minute visits or calls and I always felt comfortable. I can say I enjoyed my doctor visits, delivery and entire pregnancy thanks to Dr. Cooper and his team. I can't recommend him enough!

I was recommended to came to this place, I visited this place because I felt something strange in my breast, I arrived and they got me waiting in a room for almost 45 minutes for the doctor to came and check me. He spent no more than 3 minutes and referred me to get a mammogram, since he said it was a normal fiber, he recommended me to take some vitamins and want me to get the exam mentioned before just to get a piece of mind. When I called the first time to get a price for the visit, they gave me a final amount, when I got my appointment I got charged ahead, I asked them, is this going to be the final amount? Their answer were “YES”. Three weeks later I got an invoice by mail with an additional charge of almost $75.00, I called and they said that the price they gave me the first time it was just an estimate and that I have to pay my new bill, since the can’t adjust it. To make long story short, this is not only frustrating, but also ridiculous that they told me something few times, even though I asked them several times, and now I have to pay this bill which I think is unfair, since I had some other clinic option more close to my budget. They just lost a patient. And just to finish with this review the ladies at the financial department were rude. He has been my OBGYN for over 10 years and he is so fantastic! He really cares about his patients. I never considered a Male OB until I met Dr.Cooper. I'm sticking with him until the wheels fall off...lol

I highly recommend Dr. Cooper. He was helpful through out during my pregnancy and afterwards. My son is 6 years old!! I am still seeing Dr. Cooper every year! He is amazing person! :)

I absolutely love Dr. Cooper. Very helpful through out my pregnancy and afterwards. He mad sure I had a smooth delivery and answered every question we had. I'd recommend him to anyone who is looking for a great OBGYN.

If I could post zero stars I would. This medical team is horrible. They never answer calls, don't make time for the patient, won't transfer records in time to be accepted by another Dr. What a joke. Please do not waste you time with this Dr. He will not make you feel welcome or taken care of

Loved Dr. Cooper! Made it a great experience from the first appointment and answered every question I had. I highly recommend him!

I have recommended Dr. Cooper to everyone I know. He has delivered both of my children. He is very funny and personable. If I had issues I was always worked into the schedule that same day. He is very responsive to emails for records or Rx refills. The online portal is super convenient too. His nurse Emily is also great too. And it's very convenient that he comes down the Angleton for office visits once a week so I don't have to drive to Houston.

Dr. Cooper was professional and confident and his assistent Emily super friendly and helpfull! I had a big cyste on my left ovary (as big as 5 months pregnancy) and it and my left ovary needed to be removed. An other doctor found it during a regular check but want to remove it with a caesarean. I just became 30 & no children yet and wanted a specialist in minimum invasive surgery. Dr. Cooper helped me in a week and I hardly have any scars!

Dr. cooper is a miracle worker and I have seen him for over 10 years. I love him!

Dr. Cooper treats all the women in my immediate family. I have been seeing him for many years and find him to be a very caring and interested doctor. Not only do I recommend him here but I have recommended him to both of my daughters and both of my granddaughters. He has delivered 4 of my grandchildren. He is highly thought of in my family.

Dr cooper has been my dr for over 10 years. He delivered both of my children, one of who was high risk. He did a wonderful job and I am currently expecting my third

Dr. Cooper was great as my gynecologist, not so much as my obstetrician. He was too lax with ultrasounds during my twin pregnancy and I ended up having a very severe, deadly complication that we caught at the very last minute. I felt that I just could not trust him as my doctor after that and transferred. He is a good doctor, but there are plenty of other doctors out there that are much, much better.

Dr. Cooper was my OBGYN for nearly 10 years. When I got pregnant, he laughed off my concerns about not feeling well at my 28 wk appt. Ten days later, I had a seizure, went into a coma and had to have the baby delivered to save both of our lives. Dr. Cooper missed my pre-eclampsia. My son was in the NICU for 3 1/2 months. I didn't get to meet him until a week after he was born, hold him until two weeks later. I later found that after 6 months of preggo appointments, he had only half a page of notes on me - none of which mentioned my symptoms I complained of. Dr. Cooper failed. Don't trust him with your life or the life of your child. If a doctor laughs off your concerns - find a new one.
