Dr. Jason Douglas Bullajian

Questionable… I went to see him about cataract surgery in both eyes. He asked me if I wanted “Target Eyes” or “Nieman Marcus Eyes”. The Nieman Marcus eyes meant I would not need glasses after surgery. This was at a cost of $8,900.00 out of pocket to me in addition to insurance coverage. Target eyes meant I would need glasses after surgery. My question to the general public would be..”WHICH ONE WOULD YOU CHOOSE?”

Cataract Surgery. Everything went well. Very organized, relaxing atmosphere. Friendly staff & very helpful.

Everyone is courteous and helpful. Doctors are patient and willing to answer any questions or concerns.

Office clean and staff friendly. I have found Dr B to be friendly and informative. Dr Barnett was quite supportive after my cataract procedures.

I had cataract surgery on both eyes. My treatment was excellent from the time I got my diagnosis through the surgeries and follow up. Even through Covid, I felt safe in the doctor's office and throughout the surgery. It is wonderful to have clear vision again!

He is professional and thorough I appreciate his kind, but direct manner, especially with my eyes. His staff is the same way. I have been seeing this doctor for 10 years and have felt this way all along.

Dr. Bullajian recently performed cataract surgery on both my eyes. The results have been very good allowing my distance vision to greatly improve and my near vision enhanced as well. Prior to this procedure, I had considerable difficulty with night driving. Now I am very comfortable driving at all times. He is a very sincere, capable and understanding physician. I would certainly recommend him to anyone with vision issues.

Dr Bullajian performed cataract surgery recently (May/2019) to replace the lens in my left eye with an Algan ACRYSOF ReSTOR lens and I am extremely pleased with the outcome. It has restored my vision to 20/20 without any side-effects , pain or discomforts. So I came to Dr Bullajian as a recommendation from my optometrist– Dr Kenneth Garza who advised that Dr Bullajian had performed the same for his family. I trusted Dr Garza as he’s been my optometrist for a number of years and provides services to my entire immediate family. Dr Bullajian has an amazing team and practice, and was unhurried in answering all my questions on the procedures, what I could expect and costs. On the day of the surgery, I was really taken-aback when he came to the ER and went over the procedure again… and ask if ok to offer a prayer The surgery appeared to go very fast, less than 15 minutes, felt a little pressure around the eye area but amazingly no discomforts. My visit today was awesome! I had Cataract/Lasik Surgery on October 28, 2019 and today November 8, 2019 is my follow up visit. I have to say that my experience with Dr. Bullajian and Dr. Barnett was amazing. They both made me feel so confident and reassuring before and after surgery. I am so grateful and my vision is 100% better than before the surgery. I can’t wait to have my other eye surgery performed. Dr. Jason Bullajian has been my doctor for eleven years. He is professional and his skills are of the highest level. He has just completed cataract surgery on both of my eyes. I can see better than I have been able to see in several years. He kept me informed about my vision needs. Dr. Bulliajian listens and answers questions. He provides an office staff that also are efficient and helpful. His offices are well maintained. I highly recommend him.

Dr Bullajian is wonderful as he explains the complete procedure on your first visit and tells you which of his office staff will be seeing you for appointments before and after the procedure. His office staff at both locations are very pleasant and friendly always with a smile on their faces. Staff at the outpatients surgical center was also very pleasant. I had a GREAT experience from my first appointment with the Dr. and my follow up appointments I certainly will recommend him for anyone that needs an eye surgeon. 9/9/2019 Of course when it comes to your eyes you always want to make sure you have the best working on them. And here is where you'll find it. I had to have cataract surgery in my right eye as I developed it from having ocular melanoma 10 years prior. I was not nervous at any point at my appointment and everything was thoroughly explain to me the options they offer to correct not only cataract but your vision at the same time even for people with astigmatism. Dr. Bullajian is absolutely amazing. Not only can I see but I no longer have to wear glasses. Within 24 hours of having my surgery I was able to realize that my carpet in my home was not as worn out as I thought it was. It sounds funny and it really is but I can see the fine fibers in my carpet which I haven't seen in a long time. I can't say enough. it was a small price to get my sight back. I have been a patient of Dr. Ballajian for 5 years, so when cataract surgery was necessary, there was no question I would choose Dr. B to do it. I was really apprehensive about having the procedure, and also about making a decision on which implant was right for me. My name is Janie and I recently had Cataract Surgery in both eyes with Dr. Bullajian. He is a kind and compassionate Dr. who truly cares about his patients. My surgeries were the least stressful medical procedures ,that I have ever had. Dr. Bullajian is a great cataract surgeon. My recovery has gone amazingly well.

I needed cateract surgery on both eyes and had heard of Dr.Bullajian from 3 sources that I trusted. I then did my research and saw how much education he has for his line of business. I then went to his office for the first appointment and had a great experience. I will say if you expect a lot of time with Dr. Bullajian forget it,have your questions ready and he will answer them all and plus his med.techs. are all knowledgeable.

In the past year Dr. Bullajian removed a cataract on my left eye and all went very smoothly...even though I was very anxious without reason...Dr Bullajian had removed cataracts on my husband’s eyes very successfully, without a problem prior to mine .. ..Last Dec. after testing Dr. took care of my eyelids that were interfering with my sight...Once again--no problems, so I am a happy patient, and would happily recommend Dr. Bullajian to anyone...He also says a small prayer before each surgery for guidance which I found to be calming and reassuring for my husband and myself..

Dr. Bullajian was a friends referral, we weren't sure what to expect. Dr. B was so professional, kind, and competent that all our pre-surgery concerns vanished. The entire clinic and staff runs like clockwork. Processes, information, expectations, and follow up post-surgery are the best we have experienced. We told several close friends at Lake Kiowa all this, and 2 unbeknownest to us, are patients and love Dr. B. I had cataract procedures in both eyes, at my age the clarity is a blessing. Of course, having cataract surgery is frightening, and, although your friends will assure you that there is nothing to it, you still have a bit of uneasiness. Dr. Bullajian and his staff went overboard to allay any fears, both in their professional conduct and in talking with me, explaining the procedure and answering all my questions. As a CPA, I am meticulous and a bit fussy about details. But all the details were well addressed, and I had absolutely no problems. I couldn’t be happier with the surgery, and I am so thankful for Dr. Bullajian! The staff at the Surgery Center also did a great job and let you know they were there for you.

I have mixed comments about Dr. Bullajian. He did a fine job on my personal cataract surgery several years age and if I were rating him only on that I would be happy. BUT (and this is a big BUT) My wife went tp him for another eye issue. After he diagnosed the issue, when she asked for more details, his exact words were "Look it up on the internet ." He refused to refer her to the expert in the issuse in Dallas and could not or would not give us any details on the disease. So based on this I have to down rate his abilities and skills

Dr. Bullajian and his team were exceptional during the process. They make you feel safe and secure. From Dr B's first fist bump and warm welcome, we were immediately at ease, after all learning you require cataract surgery is a bit scary. The extensive medical history, eye examination and pre surgical consult were thorough. We were well advised on surgury procedures, out of pocket expenses and after care and recovery. The office, surgical center were comfortable and professionally staffed. Every person we encountered gave me personal attention and my care and comfort was top priority. Surgery went smoothly and the aftercare followup visits confirmed complete success and 20/20 vision with my new lenses.
