Dr. Blackham and the staff in the clinic at Snow Basin were fantastic. Informative, patient, quick with getting me x-rayed, let me know my options and made it easy to play an active role in my care. While, I don't recommend you get hurt on the mountain and find yourself in this clinic, I do recommend the providers there for their excellent care!

Professional/ friendly staff Dr. Blackham is thorough in obtaining a history, performing an exam and discussing the findings and follow up.

Dr Blackham was professional, knowledgeable, and effective in diagnosing my injury and working through a recovery plan. His bedside manner is exceptional and even being the last appointment of the day, I felt like his first.

Dr. Blackham and staff were wonderful from check in through exit! Friendly, professional and compassionate listeners every step of the way. The doctor is a very clear communicator and so patient with my questions. Thank you!

I recently visited Dr. Blackham to receive injections. I was told to come 15 minutes early for my appointment. However, they didn’t pull me into a room until 50 minutes after my appointment time (an hour and 15 minutes after I checked in since I was told to come early). It was another 20 minutes or more until I saw Dr. Blackham after being roomed. If he had been kind after the long wait, it could’ve made up for it. However, he was extremely rude and demeaning not only to me, but to his staff as well. He had no bedside manner and showed no compassion or understanding whatsoever. I would not recommend Dr. Blackham under any circumstances.

Very good, professional and informative regarding my shoulder.

Dr Blackham was fantastic! He listened to my concerns and responded to my questions with care and professionalism!

Dr Blackham was so great! He took his time and explained everything. He gave me hope that there might be help with my pain issue.

Office was running behind but they offered water and snacks. The most important aspect was that I did not feel rushed during the actual appointment and I felt very comfortable asking questions as needed.

I saw Dr. Blackum for knee pain. He explained the x-rays, looked at a list of exercises for the knee that I brought and advised me on them. He reassured me it was a case of "runner's knee " not a more serious tear. He was very personable and answered all my questions. His med.assistant was also great. It was a good experience. He was on time. I was lucky to have the first appointment after lunch.

This man walked in and was cold and rude from the get go. He didn’t look at my chart at all and kept referring to my breaks I have had in the past by saying well that’s to be expected when you break it. I’ve broken it on multiple occasions. He’d then say oh ya - those couple of times. He shot down a previous doctor’s diagnosis that is my main Dr and knows my history by just saying - nope, that’s not it. Kept telling me to just take ibuprofen even though I continually told him I can’t because of my blood thinners. His staff was extremely nice and helpful and he could learn a lot from them!! He treated me like an inconvenience rather than someone who literally is paying his bills. I would not ever recommend him to anyone. I have never, ever written a bad review on a Dr. Have wrote many good ones but this is a first in my 50 years! Hi to someone that actually cares!!

I don't understand the low stars. He is a great Doctor. He knows his stuff. If you need to shed a few pounds, he just says it and doesn't sugar coat it. I appreciate the honesty. I've been going over a year and will continue

I was treated for a bum shoulder. First of all he was 2 hours behind and when he came in he came in so rude and abrupt. He didn't apologized Until he realized how taken back I was by his rudeness. He also made me feel completely stupid for the things that I had done for my shoulder before I saw him. He didnt softened until I began to cry.. If you are going to work with someone who is in pain it might be a good idea to find some humility, kindness andd empathy. I've worked in health care And completely understand running behind and even being frustrated because of that but taking it out on your patient is not anyway to run your practice. I am a pretty active old guy 66, and have been injured a bunch of times. The most recent is some kind of muscle strain in my left thigh, lower back. Blackman was recommended by other actjve people i know. I figured i'd get a better diagnosis than my general doctor. Yeah, he doesn't listen to you and just assumes he knows more about your pains than you do, any thing to get on to the next patient. I asked for an ultrasound and got another set of xrays, that my GD did already to verify no broken bones. I did not fall skiing, but said its some kind of over use, muscle stress thing.. so he assumes i fell and my ski hit my thigh. Its been 4 weeks of PT and its no better. Still get out of bed in the morning and can barley walk and have the same level of pain 3-4, till i hook up the TENS for an hour. I can't do any sports actives in this condition. Oh yeah go to a different sports doctor, sure its only another 3 to 4 weeks to get in to see somebody else. So i don't recommend blackham. He is rude, arrogant, and doesn’t listen to the patient. My first visit to him was for a broken sacrum from a snowboarding accident. I am 45 years old and he told me it seemed like an old lady break. Very inconsiderate & not true! My bone density is normal. My second visit to him, he was running close to 2 hours late. When he finally saw me, he rushed through the appointment so quickly. I hadn’t even spoken yet when he was getting up to rush out of the room, when I told him I had one question for him. He then looked at me, threw his hands down and told me he didn’t have time to answer my “one” question and yelled at me to schedule another appointment to ask my question then. I took my dad to Dr. Blackham today, to be seen for a bum shoulder. The doctor was professional, friendly, and a clear communicator. Other than having a bit of a wait, it was a very positive experience!

I DON'T RECOMMEND WASTING YOUR PRECIOUS TIME WITH THIS PERSON HE MAY HAVE A DEGREE BUT HE IS WORTHLESS AND HIS SMILE IS PURE IGNORANCE AND ONE STAR IS TOO MUCH FOR HIM HE IS WORTHLESS.

Went in for knee pain, he told me it was just a bruised knee. That if it was anything more I would be crying. Turned out that I had two tears on my meniscus and a cyst on my ACL. So since I don’t react to pain the way he thinks one should be, he wouldn’t give me his time.

If there was a zero star rating thats what I would use! Took my mom in to see Dr. Blackham and she left more devasted then ever! He has no bedside manor and doesnt listen to his patient even the slightest little bit. He basically told her she has arthritis in her knee and needs physical therapy when really we already know there is so much more wrong from previous doctors and xrays! She has bone spurs which he even pointed out in the x-ray but didnt even mention them again. How about an Mri to make sure there is nothing else wrong??? I’ve had a great experience with Dr. Blackham. He saw me at Snowbasin when I tore my MCL on the mountain, so I went back to see him a few weeks later to follow-up. I also brought my daughter because she hurt her back. He was wonderful, attentive, practical and kind. I’d recommend him.

It was a mistake to go to him (and it looks like a lot of others agree) My friend broke his clavicle at snow basin ski resort. We had no other option up there but to see jason. Although we were the only patients up there he took his sweet time (over an hour). The worst part wasn’t the long wait but the way he treated us (both of us) nor was he very warm to his own staff. Everyone else at the clinic was nice (so good job there) I won’t include every detail but after it was all done he was rude and not of help. We both wish we just drove down to Ogden to see a Doctor

Saw Dr. Blackham today where he treated my knee, relieved my pain and assisted with referral for knee replacement. Second time i’ve seen him In a years time and both visits had reasonable wait times. His explanation of my condition and treatment options were clearly presented and extremely helpful in making my future medical decisions. I highly recommend Dr. Blackham.

My wife recently visited his office and it took her 1:30 minutes to be seen by the doctor then he told her he didn't have the time to check her for all of her symptoms. He just tried sending her to physical therapy. He scheduled her for x-rays before he had even talked with to realize her real issue was for her hip. He is not a good doctor arrogant rude and care more about his time then the patients. Don't waste your money seeing him because he won't give you any of his time. Left me sitting in the exam room for over 45 minutes after technician took x-rays. Spent less than 3 minutes with me and said nothing was wrong. Came back a 2nd time because my knee was still in pain. This time he was in within 15 minutes and again said nothing was wrong but I could try physical therapy. Knowing there was something wrong went to another doctor who took an MRI and found I had a tear in my meniscus. I spent over $500 to Dr Blackham for the wrong information. I want my $ back

This doctor spent a total of 5 minutes in the room with me to tell me there is nothing wrong with my knees. He said “look at the X-rays, they look great.” He sent me away with no answers to my extreme pain in both knees. I wLked out of that office in tears because i still have no idea why i am in so much pain. He was arrogant, dismissive and useless to me. Do NOT go see this person.

This was my first visit with Dr.Blackham and i had a very positive experience. The whole staff were caring and compassionate. I had an injection and the doctor and nurse were so patient with me as it was painful. They talked to me they made me laugh through the pain. I will return in 4 weeks to see Dr.Blackburn i hope i get the same nurse but I'm sure they're all equally as good. I'm thankful my Dr.recommended him to me.

Horrible attention! I was waiting for 2 hours when there were no other patients! I would recommend not coming here!

Dr. Blackham was harsh, cold, and rude. Would never recommend him to anyone. I struggle with depression and other mental health disorders. I was having severe knee pain and when physical therapy was not successful I went back for second appointment. He told me that the pain was in my head and I was simply a depressed person. I had x-rays showing deformations in my knees that he simply ignored. I cried as he did his physical exam it was so brutal and painful.

I had a good experience with Dr. Blackham and was well-treated by all of his staff on my two visits. On the first I got a detailed diagnosis, prognosis and explanation of my treatment options and on the second - a pain injection for my rotator cuff - the staff found room for me in the doctor's schedule within a few days. I found him friendly, engaged and helpful. PS: The pain injection itself was painless and brought me 90-95% instant and continuing pain relief in the weeks since.

In my opinion, staff is pleasant but seem frightened by the doctor. Before long I understood why. Barbaric treatment, woefully inadequate anesthesia for procedure, cold, disrespectful, rushed, bad attitude. I've met veterinarians with lots more compassion for patients. Avoid this one folks!
