Dr. Bilinghurst performed neck surgery for me back in 2019 and his knowledge and expertise in what he does is admirable. He completed my surgery with a least invasive technique and my recovery time was less than expected. I am now working with him due to chronic low back problems and having treatments first before the possibility of future surgery, if needed. I believe he is very trusting and a compassionate doctor. Dr. Billinghurst is patient with his patients. He is caring, professional, brilliant and compassionate. He takes the time to listen and was excellent at calming my fears of being paralyzed after I broke my neck, my C1 vertebrae He answers questions thoroughly in a layman‘s terms. I was suffering from a crippling L4-L5 bulge in my back. This condition produced pain down both legs and spasms like I didn't think were possible. I am a strong guy and always push through pain, but this was completely disabling. Walking from the bedroom to the bathroom was a task. The symptoms were relentless. Two epidural shots barely helped and no drug was adequate. Dr Jason was referred through WC. He explained the MRI results with clarity and we agreed that surgery was necessary. He has been exceptional throughout the process and I'm back to 100%. Of course I researched him before becoming his patient. I assumed the reviews were exaggerated. But, I was pleasantly surprised. He really is that good. I would recommend Dr Jason to anyone suffering from a spinal issue.

It's been over a year now. Dr. Billinghurst performed spinal fusion on my wife at L4/L5 L5/S1. Immediately after surgery my wife was in excruciating pain. She spent 3 days in post op never being seen once by the surgeon. All visits were from the PA. The entire time my wife could not lift her leg without acute pain as well as having other complications. She was totally dismissed and was told it was normal postop pain. After being discharged to go home it was obvious something was wrong. I took her back to Dr. Billinghurst's office a week after the surgery and he knew right away something had indeed gone wrong. The next day it was right back into emergency surgery. One of the screws he had put into her vertabrae had gone through the vertabrae and directly into her nerve causing all the complications. After 3 failed spinal surgeries, PT, a Medtronics stimulator and 3 years of excruciating pain, dr Billinghurst gave me the confidence to proceed with my L5S1 Fusion. He was very patient and spent as much time necessary to explain the procedure and recovery with my family. I am only 3 weeks post op but I am confident I will have my active life back again. If you are suffering with chronic back and leg pain... he is your guy and forget the Medtronics Stims... plus his staff is great

I had surgery with Dr Billinghurst Feb 2019. He was professional kind and explained in great detail my surgery. My daughter had cervical surgery in July 2020 and we have been struggling to get a paperwork problem resolved with his previous practice. I wish we could get this resolved. I am disappointed that we have not been able to resolve this problem. As for Dr Billinghurst I would highly recommend him .

Dr. Billinghurst is an excellent spine surgeon. He is professional, personable and caring. I wouldn’t go to anyone else. I had a lumbar fusion and I’m doing great now, recovery went well with Dr. Billinghurst help. I would definitely go to him again if I needed to.

Had surgery 3 weeks ago for cyst and thickening of ligaments on the lumbar portion of my spine. I am finally able to walk, sleep and live without pain thanks to Dr Billinghurst. He considered and explained all options, deciding to do the surgery with the least risk to my spine even though it took longer. He is kind, caring and very knowledgeable. I'm extremely grateful to him and his staff for taking such good care of me then and for continuing to do so as I heal.

I went to three surgeons for an opinion of Spinal Stenosis. Dr Billinghurst was the best out of them, he took the time and reviewed all my films and medical reports and answered all my questions and concerns. He was very professional, took his time with me and has incredible bedside manners. I ended up having surgery with and am still recovering from surgery. I am entirely grateful for his precision, compassionate care, and professional. On every visit, he spends as much time as needed to thoroughly go through any questions and problems I have. I had to have a two-level cervical discectomy and fusion because of pain radiating into my left arm/ shoulder with pins and needles sensation into my hand. He explained it all and took away any apprehension I had prior to surgery. Immediately upon waking from surgery my symptoms were completely resolved and I had a complete and issue-free recovery. Highly recommend him for your spine surgery needs.

Dr. Billinghurst is a great doctor really good a what he does very knowable and very compassionate.I had to have surgery done. Tomorrow will be a month since the surgery and I feel great my pain went away. He is been there every step of the way ready to address all my question and concerns. He fallowed up tenaciously. I had been in a lot of pain for months taking medicines that wasn't really helping but when I met with Dr. Billinghurst he was able to get to the bottom of the problem and fixed not temporally but permanent so I will defiantly recommend him. Not a way to treat a patience. Appointment for upper and lower Back problems. Had X Ray's. Recommend I have a MRI. I did receive a prescription. The MRI was limited to my upper back. I called Dr's assistant. I requested to have the MRI include covering my lower Back left side. It is over 2 weeks Plus and I never received a call back. Why? How does this happen?? This sad and very disappointing. Now using different Dr not not at Orthopedic Center.

I had back surgery in June 2018 (S1 L4 and L5) and it could not have gone any smoother. I was up and walking the day after. I took no medication after I began walking and with no back pain. Everyone is different and I had some pain in my left leg but that slowly went away as the swelling came down. I cannot be any happier with the results! I should have done this sooner. I had total fusion by week 11 and am starting to run and back at the gym now on week 12. Dr. Billinghurst was phenomenal!!

I had a bulging disk that was pressing on my sciatic nerve and causing severe pain. The pain is completely gone and my back is healing very nicely. The process was very quick. I had extreme pain through top of my left shoulder and down the back of my arm to my elbow.. A MRI showed a pinched nerve. Dr Billinghurst saw the MRI and knew exactly what the problem and the solution were. I needed a Anterior Cervical Discectomy and Fusion....sounds drastic !!! anyhow, the procedure went off without a hitch.....I was back at work in 4 days with very little pain. Dr Billinghurst did a wonderful job. I can recommend him without reservation.
