Dr. Jarrett Boyd Lea

The worst doctor our family experienced. Only doctor to say "shut up and listen to me". Has zero social manners and is very narcissistic. Always talked about his knowledge, experience, and medical awareness. A true joke to the medical community.

If I could give a no star review, I would have. He neglected the health of my spouse. If you are diabetic, seek out an endocrinologist to prevent long term damage. If you have other health concerns and need testing and a referral to a specialist, be prepared to be forgotten about, and that wait will last a year. I have never experienced such a lack of care of a person like I have with Dr. Lea. He has a horrible turnover rate with nurses and he seems to have a new nurse every month. Save your money and time, go somewhere else.

Dr. Lea was very patient, thorough, and explained everything for the healthcare of our mother. I am very impressed with him and his staff. Excellent!

I have been a patient of Dr. Lea for years . He is a very kind and compassionate doctor. He spends time listening to me and figuring out my best care plan.

I'm a patient of Dr. Lea's since Jan. '12 & he's one of THE best PC dr's I've ever been blessed to have!! He's always warm, courteous, engaging - never making me feel "rushed", & he's always up-to-date on my medical care options & the available technology!! Dr. Lea & his staff have always promptly set up my referral appts w/ outstanding follow up care!! I've recommended Dr. Lea to countless people & I'll continue to do so bc he's a true credit to the medical profession!!

Ever spent almost three hours to see a doctor, spend some time talking and get home to find one of your prescriptions required a written one? I just had this happen. We had talked about it for over 10 minutes. I called to ask if I could pick it up and was told I had to come back for another appointment. I pay fully out of pocket. I already missed three hours of work......and his forgetfulness means I have to spend another $100 and half a day out of work?!

I think Dr. Lea is a wonderful doctor. He is friendly always has a smile on his face when he comes in. Asks how you are doing since your last visit. He is up to date on the new meds on the market and how they will affect you. I have seen a lot of doctors and none are a good as this one. If their is Doctor of the Year award, he should definitely receive it.
