I met Dr Lark in ER @ Grand Strand. He was Very attentive, took scan & found my problem. When explained to me , I could understand and he calmly replied to all my questions. Much Appreciated Him !!

Two minutes with this doctor to diagnose an ear infection and a bill of $745!!!! NEVER go to Grand Strand Regional Medical Center. NEVER, NEVER, NEVER!!!! They will charge you excessive amounts of money. This was just for the doctor. The ER charged an additional $1300! $2,000 for AN HOUR long ER visit is excessive When trying to figure out why it was so much, I only received the response that the charge was "reasonable and customary". Terrible customer service and outrageous pricing. Do NOT go here unless you are made of money. Wait it out for a walk-in clinic to open... I saw Dr. Lark in the ER & he was very kind & attentive. However the major issue I had was the fact that he would only give me a referral of the what doctor he thought I needed. He did acknowledge the doctor that I explained I had been trying to get in to see & said she was very good & would be great for my specific issue, but told me that he couldn't do anything about giving me a referral for her. This doesn't make any sense at all, there should have been referrals for both doctors.
