As always Dr. Wathne makes a not so fun visit a little more enjoyable. Had a very bad fungal infection in my left ear. He took care of it swiftly and with as little pain as possible. Great guy. It’s a shame he will be retiring soon. But we’ll deserved.

Dr. Wathne is excellent. After taking care of my problem, he explained how to take care of my ear in the future. He has a very good bed side manner for a doctor. Made you feel comfortable.

Great visit with Dr Wathne today. Very thorough and compassionate. He listened to my concerns and discussed various options. Dr Wathne was very knowledgeable and helpful regarding my issues. Clinical and admin staff were friendly and efficient. Very pleased and highly recommend Dr Wathne and Cumberland Valley ENT. We are fortunate to have a physician with his expertise in Hagerstown.

As always Dr. Wathne provided his top rating professional care with skill, charisma and compassion. He performed the removal of impacted cerumen from the ears of my 92 year old mother with Alzheimer’s with as much skill, patience and personal attention as he would performing an intricate surgical procedure. Highly appreciated!

I found the Doctor to be not focused on my problem. It was if he needed to be some place else. He checked both my ears removed what he called hard crust from my right ear and ask me if it was better. I said not really then he used something to test if there was fluid behind my ear drum, saying he found none he ask me when I last had my hearing tested. I said I never have and that was it. He gave no advice as to where I might have a hearing test or if his office preformed that test. He said just see if the right ear gets better and that it was likely I would return again with a similar problem. I left felling disappointed, my right ear was still not hearing as well as the left and there was and is still pressure 2 days later.

Yes, friendly and very knowledgeable. He ask questions and he listens to me. He has operated on me three times due to a reoccurring problem that is common with my ailment.

Dr. Wathne is an excellent doctor. I brought my mentally handicapped son in to see him. He was so kind and caring with him. He explained everything to me in detail and I'm the mom. He took the time with us that most doctors don't. The knowledge is far beyond others in his field.
