Dr. Janna is good, but her office and staff are disaster …. Never pick the phone, never call back.. They cancel online appointments and never call back to reschedule.. If you are lucky to finally have your appointment- after waiting 2-3weeks, be ready to wait another 45min - 2 hours to see the doctor!!

Office does not pick up phone calls or respond to voicemails in a timely fashion.

The staff has absolutely zero tolerance or respect for a patient time. Jana is a good doctor, but waiting up to 2 hours to see her after your appointment time is ridiculous. My appointment was scheduled online 2 weeks upfront. On the day of the appointment, the staff told me that no appointment was approved. Operantly, someone had to call me to approve my online appointment (no one did). The next available appointment is in 2-3 weeks. You die faster than you see anyone in this location. The same happened to my wife. The issue with online booking was nicely rejected by the workers again. So online booking is working properly but no one couldn’t call to tell their patients to confirm ???????? If you want to waste the entire day for a 15 min appointment, please come to this location. I've been going to Dr. L. for almost two years now! She's AWESOME!! She treats and talks to you as if you're her only patient! I've never felt rushed. Her staff is fantastic too! The communication and meds refills are also superb! You don't have to wait for days to get a response from Dr. L or to get a med refill! I'm so glad to have her as my primary care physician! The wait times are atrocious! You will be waiting forever to be seen and when she does finally come 45 minutes late, there is a smug deal with it attitude.

Dr. Lachtinina is great, really cares about her patients, but her staff and support is terrible. They are consistently inconsistent, I need to follow up several times for medication prescriptions. They have closed before their scheduled times too.

Great doctor but be prepared for a 45 min to 1.5 hour wait EACH and EVERY time. Without fail. For patients with employment or children this may not be a good fit.

Dr. Lachtchinina is the best primary care physician I ever met. She is very professional, efficient and extremely attentive to details. Never in rush, spends with you as much time as needed. All the lab / radiology results are reported back in very timely manner, and followed up by a medical assistant phone call. Would highly recommend to anyone! She is the BEST!. Takes the time to listen to you and asks questions. Very easy to talk to. Never makes me feel rushed.

Dr. Lachtchinia has treated me for many years for multiple problems. She takes time to really understand you and works to provide the best health care in my opinion.

I have seen Dr. L on and off for last few years. She is nice and takes her time when with the patient. However, I have had it with the overall presence of the front office and overall unavailability in coming in to be seen. I leave a voicemail they never return it and claim to check messages twice a day. If it’s an emergency they won’t check till much later? Why doesn’t she have an on call line? Also, Dr. L can be quite smug and almost have this persona of not caring all that much and acting like no big deal attitude. I am just fed up with the whole office and will be looking for a new doctor. It is unfortunate because prior to starting her own practice I think things were better. Dr. L is a caring doctor that spends a lot of time with her patients. She has great attention to detail. She also recommends healthy lifestyle modifications when appropriate as opposed to just prescribing medicine. I highly recommend her.

Dr. Lachtchinina & nurses 5/5; front desk 1/5 stars. If I didn't like Dr. Lachtchinina so much I would choose to never deal with her receptionist. I dont want to bring down the actual dr's rating but cant believe shes still employed. Every time I've called/visited I've recieved/witnessed the most disrespectful behavior from the receptionist. Trying to win her over with kindness doesn't get you far. I'm very sickly, but also very sensitive and have chosen to suffer rather than visit her office. After trying every other option but the hospital, I called my chosen PCP and was crying within minutes of speaking to the receptionist. There are potentially very vulnerable patients in dire situations that shouldnt have to experience the stress of a degrading gatekeeper to get the help&care that Dr. Lachtchinina is clearly eager &able to give. Desk may harrass payments, etc out of patients but scares away business too! switching from my fav ever doctor bc chick talking to ppl clearly hates ppl.

I wish I could give 0 stars. I rarely feel compelled enough by any experience to leave negative reviews but in this instance, I went with this doctor solely because of the positive google reviews and felt it necessary to share my experience so that others don't make the same mistake. As another reviewer said regarding the front desk staff, atrocious... absolutely atrocious. As with most doctors offices, you can hear the front desk staff while you're in the waiting area and even when you're in the patient rooms if you're in one of the closer ones. In the span of my one appointment from beginning to end, I heard the front desk staff being incredibly rude to people on the phone, playing voicemails on full volume and making fun of the people who called (mind you, personal information was shared while this was on full volume), a nurse came in to take my vitals IN HER SOCKS, the same nurse walked into the room where they draw blood in the back to hand a form over still IN HER SOCKS.... the front desk staff was my primary issue with this place. However, I didn't find Dr. Lachtchinina to have very good bedside manner either. Though it was nothing in comparison to how atrocious the rest of her staff behaved. The person who drew my blood was very kind and professional and was the only exception when I refer to her staff. I know that I've been spoiled with incredible doctors with phenomenal professionalism, bedside manner and staff but this is just mind blowing. I honestly was not planning to leave this review until as I figured... maybe they were just ALL having a bad day. However, I just had one of her staff call to ask me to come back in before refilling a prescription and she sounded on the phone like she could barely even be bothered to make this call... like it was painful for her. I mean maybe it's because I'm from the south but how hard is it to find kind, upbeat, caring physicians and staff up here? Seriously, seriously... do not go to this doctor's office. If you're considering it saying ... oh... it sounds like the doctor wasn't SO bad and it's just the office staff... I'm telling you. I've had some GREAT doctors and would hate for people to settle on this place. I wouldn't be this dramatic about most businesses that I patron but I firmly believe you shouldn't compromise on your doctor. PLEASE keep looking... having a good doctor is just SO important... too important to settle. I wish I could rate doctor and front desk separately. Doctor is definitely 5 stars. She is very nice and professional. However I’ve never met such rude and unprofessional front desk. Nicole hanged up on me in the middle of conversation. Making an appt with another woman upfront is no any better. One time it took me half a day to make an appt. They always put you on hold to up to 15 mins and keep calling you back and forth. They won’t help you with anything and will just give a hard time. My wife and I have been visited her for 4 years. She is very friendly and quite knowledgeable doctor who spend sufficient time with patient/s. Try to explain problem in a layman term. I highly recommend her.

Dr. Lachtchinina is an excellent provider. She is thorough and has a great bedside manner. I felt that my concerns, as well as my time were respected in this office. That is a hard balance to find in today’s medical office.

Dr. Lachtchinina has been my doctor for more than 4 years. I see her about 7 times per year to deal with my many medical conditions. She is always professional and she listens to my concerns. Dr. Lachtchinina is very warm took her time to answer all question and listen to everything I had to say without making feel like i was not important of my concerns. and issues I had made me feel comfortable was not in a rush to get me out of the office staff very nice friendly office clean was not a long wait too see her I would send other to her. she is worth the 45 mins it takes me to see her.

Dr. Lachtchinina was by far the best physician I have ever had. She was extremely thorough, informative, and even caught an issue that I have had for several years but never had a doctor bring to my attention. Outstanding bedside manners and I felt very comfortable while at the office. Busy office but low wait time. Max I ever waited was 15 minutes. Great front desk staff as well.

I love Dr L. So glad I found her after her move! She listens and takes time with you.

Really rude team,the receptionist bad attitude,the girl take your blood she treated you like you are a piece of training body,The doctor not really nice,I don't recommend this office.

She is incompetent and I believe she has issues with patients who are in the African descent. She is a Russian descent not friendly however rude unethical and discourteous. Please carry a tape recorder because she will talk down to you inhmanely. Very ignorant and phys-co.

I truly value the care that the doctor have provided including controlling my migraines.

I was very surprised to see negative comments. Dr. Janna Lachtchinina is very knowledgeable, I referred her to 6 friends and all of them completely satisfied.

I have met Dr. Janna Lachtchinina five years ago and the level of her professionalism, care for patients and personal touch deserves ten stars at all times.

I can't speak to the previous reviewers experience, but I have found Dr. Lachtchinina to be very thorough, competent, caring, and respectful. I was impressed by the depth of investigation she did in a routine physical and her level of care during a sick visit.

Dr. Latchinina is a very competent, very professional and very caring doctor. It is a pity that she is not longer in the rockville's office. they do not want to provide information about where she has office now. I never saw any doctor there. Dr. Latchinina was very nice and on time.
