Dr. Janmeet S Sahota

Dr. Sahota performed spinal surgery on me in October of 2022. I was experiencing significant nerve pain in my right leg which nearly incapacitated me. Dr. Sahota scheduled my surgery as quickly as he could. He listened to me and took excellent care of me. I found him to be kind, caring, and very personable. My back healed well with no complications. Immediately post-operatively, my pain was gone. Dr. Sahota’s team, corey and Cameron are, also kind, caring and very personable.

Dr. Sahota is amazing. Corey his PA is excellent, however his staff is terrible. They lie constantly to cover themselves, and have a ridiculous lack of empathy. The only staff member I can recommend is his surgery scheduler. His nurse is pathetic, she blames everything on someone or something else, and god help you if you complain, your case will get lost in the shuffle. Dr. Sahota needs to clean house, and replace his CNA's and MA's.

Dr Sahota and his PA's are compassionate, hard working and extremely knowledgeable spine specialists who seem to strive at every opportunity to provide an extremely high level of communication with patients about their diagnosis, treatment choices, and short/long term prognosis. Perfection as always.

Thank you for seeing me. I've been going through this for about a year now,not being able to walk on my own at times, the back spasms, and unable to do everyday chores. Hopefully I'm closer to seeing the light at the end. Other than the 2 1/2 hours plus waiting the visit was helpful.

For years I suffered with spinal back and neck pain, with little relief, until I was referred to Tri City Orthopaedics. The staff and doctors have treated me with respect. they listen and are meticulous in treatment options.

Enjoyed and appreciated my appointment with Dr. Janmeet Sahota at the Richland Orthopedic Clinic on November 25. He was patient and informative and laughed at my humor! We came up with a plan which I will pursue. Front desk gals also very helpful. Sally Wiens.

Dr. Sahota gave me my life back with the Intracept procedure. He worked with me to delay a fusion. He is very informative, takes time to answer your questions and honest.

I haven't had surgery yet, but will Nov.9th 2021. My experience with Dr.Sahota so far has been great. He was able to explain my symptoms in a clear procise manner. He showed me all my MRI, CT and X-Rays and explained what's happening, what's going to happen and my options for a better pain free life. Felt so comfortable and confident with Dr Sahota! He asked very good, qualifying questions and had a referral for some additional pain I am experiencing. Highly recommend him!

Dr Sahota and staff have been so helpful. Dr Sahota has not given up on me, I am still having leg pain and heaviness after my surgery so he is sending me for a second opinion and I am starting physical therapy. I did lose the loss of my leg over a year ago and had a blood clot in it so not really sure what is happening. I pray this all goes away and I can walk without a cane again. This office is great I would recommend them if you are having back problems or any other joint problems. Dr Sahota and staff have been so helpful. Dr Sahota is very knowledgeable and a wise Dr who really listens and is clear on what he can do. He is not pushy about surgery and sensitive to you alone. Realistic and hopeful. Takes every possible step before surgery must be the answer. I highly recommend him and you get a warm and wise Dr in him.

I have always had great experience with all the staff at Tri Cities Ortho. Short wait times and always get straight answers to important questions. Dr. Sahota is a very caring provider and never makes you feel rushed to get on to his next patient.

Dr Sahota is the best. He cares about his patients and is a skilled surgeon. A person with neck or back problems cannot go wrong in seeing him.

Love Dr. Sohota’s interaction with patients. Always speaks in layman’s language and gives great information and alternatives. I had a very bad experience with my neck surgery years ago and was petrified but my experience with my rod placement surgery was beyond my expectations and his hands do miracles, minimal scars or pain. Dr. Sahota is not only inedibly well trained, he is very personable and compassionate. He explains procedures, interprets the x-rays etc in understandable ways. I have received to not care for a complicated spinal fusion.

So went to my own family physician who was also in Kadlec network and he said NO WAY, broken neck you will go to this guy. 100% wouldn't go anywhere else. I have been a patient of Dr. Sahota's for six years. He has always been willing to spend the time to explain all the procedures that I have needed to have and options available to resolve the issues. He has continued to keep on top of the various problems that have arisen with my back and neck during this time. During this time he has performed 4 different surgeries after exploring the options and the results have been great. I highly recommend him to others.

I showed up for my appointment with Dr. Sahota but did not see him. He was highly recommended which is why I set up a consultation appointment with him for lower back pain. After waiting several weeks for my appointment, I was told upon arrival that his "long standing policy" was for his PA to see Medicare patients, even those with supplemental insurance, for their first visit. I was advised, when trying to get an earlier appointment with Dr. Sahota, to call in daily to see if there had been a cancellation. My concern is that full disclosure is essential in any profession, especially medicine. Perhaps TCO's appointment receptionist(s) in the future can advise Medicare patients of Dr. Sahota's policy in a more timely fashion. My, and a family member's, experience with other TCO physicians, therapists and staff has been outstanding, 5 Star+. I suspect Dr. Sahota and his team are similarly outstanding. However, I will never know.

Sahota was phenomenal. Very thorough and presented treatment options. He is definitely knowledgeable and deserves five stars. However, the low rating is due to the horrible experience with the office staff. The office staff was horrific to deal with: rude, inconsiderate and no compassion or empathy for the patient. Scheduling was a nightmare. I left several messages with no return call and it took over three weeks to schedule an MRI because my messages were not returned. Also, the post-operative paperwork the insurance needed did not get filled out and I was told they had more important things to do than paperwork. I had to go to the office, after waiting more than the required 10 days to process the request, and have them print the information and fax it to insurance while I stood there. There were numerous incidents occurring over the phone where the service was less than adequate turning an extremely painful situation into an extremely stressful one! Sahota=yay, office staff=nay!!

Dr. Sahota has been extremely helpful in getting me through the back pain I am experiencing. He is very caring and knowledgeable. I would recommend him to anyone who is experiencing orthopedic pain.

Dr. Sahota is truly amazing. He has provided excellent care and compassion to me. He has always been honest with me and answered all of my questions without making me feel dumb like many doctors do.

My follow-up was 5 months late due to the fact that my earlier follow-up was canceled because I was 15 minutes late. I decided to go in so that my records could be transferred in the event I get an appointment with a neurologist. I informrd Dr. Sahota's staff as to what happened with my follow-up back in November. She told me I should have been seen since I drove from Hermiston and I let her know that maybe it should be brought up in a staff meeting. This time I only had to wait a few minutes past my appointment time. Dr. Sahota and his staff both apologized for the mix-up that happened earlier. Just to let you know, I had to wait two hours to be seen for my first appointment with Dr. Sahota so I was a little ticked that they penalized me for 15 minutes late when I miscalculated my leave time from Hermiston.

Dr Sahota is a very talented physician who takes time to accurately evaluate the patient’s condition and then presents options explaining the pros and cons of each allowing you to make an informed decision.

I met with Dr Sahota about a surgical procedure for my neck. He was very good at explaining what my options were and all about each procedure that he would do. He was very kind and would explain things in a manner which was easy for me to comprehend. He appeared to be a very competent and capable individual. I felt very secure in having him do a surgical procedure on my spine when we were finished consulting about it.

Dr. Sahota is amazing! His bedside manner is top notch. He really saved me. My back was so bad I couldn't walk. After surgery with him I am almost back to normal. Thank you so much Dr. Sahota!
