Dr Chang is very friendly and listens to you. Her exams are very thorough. And she’s prompt I very much appreciate that.

My visit was good. Dr. Chang is very pleasant and makes you feel at ease.

Had my 6 month check up and as usual, Dr. Chang gave me a thorough exam; covered my legs, chest, back, face, and scalp. She is always pleasant and willing to answer any and all questions with a smile. She always freezes a few spots, usually located on my face and scalp areas -- a result of my light skin color and having grown up on a farm prior to the use of skin protections.

Very quick, but thorough.

Long time patient, waited 50 minutes, when finally in room, no time for annual exam and scheduled procedure. I had allowed an hour and a half and had another appt. Dr. Chang also added in the few minutes I saw her, the possibility of cancer, which she had never mentioned before. When I said to her she had never told me about the possibility of cancer in previous visits she said, “yeah I threw that out there, you’re welcome”. Tried to see her later that day, she was leaving at one after having been overbooked and said she could not do a 3 o’clock to complete what her delay allowed not to take place in the original appointment. Very disappointed and would not have expected that of her.

I have been a patient of Dr. Chang’s off and on for many years. She has always been very attentive, listened to my concerns and provided the best and appropriate care. She is very personable and makes you feel at ease. I highly recommend Dr. Chang to anyone in need of a dermatologist.

I had seen Dr. Chang when she was first in this area, and was very pleased. Yesterday was my first time in at least a decade, and I was still extremely pleased. She is knowledgeable, professional, and has a delightful personality. In the meantime, I had seen two other dermatologists, one whom I would never recommend and the other has retired. So I was so happy to be able to see Dr. C. again. Everyone else in Clear Lake must feel the same, as the wait time is long, but well worth the wait. I feel that her knowledge and approach is trustworthy and I am glad that she seems to be in the area permanently now. I will recommend her to my family members. Thank you!

My treatment was efficient and thorough.

Dr Chang and her staff tended to a cyst on my back that had ruptured. She also took some other samples for testing. As usual, she was also very informative about other skin condition I have. My wife and I will always use her for our skin problems. She's terrific.

I visited several Doctors and then found Dr. Chang and Bay Area Dermatology. My first impression of Dr Chang was that she is friendly and extremely intelligent. She is not only personable but explains exactly what is amiss and clearly explains a suggested path forward. After seeing her for a while, I have to say that I sincerely trust her, her medical knowledge, and her judgment. Can’t believe that you have such an incompetent person inform your patients/customers that they have skin cancer.

I have been to see Dr J. Chang. I found her to be very informative and reassuring when I decided to get the biopsy on my face. She was very thorough both times. Doctor Chang is one of the most caring doctors I have come across, I wouldn't give her up for anything. Thank you for being my Doctor.

This is a follow up review that I left for Dr. Chang a month ago. I gave her a 5 star rating. However, I have will have to change the rating to a 1 star rating because the office support staff (medical assistant) is terrible. If they don't make some changes, I will probably be looking for another doctor because of the frustrations dealing with them.
