Janet Hogan Harrison

This is the most ratchet dentist I’ve ever been to. Dr Harrison had a rude attitude and she was pretty bad at her job, they messed up my gums and left them sore for a week even though it was a simple filling. If this is the only place that takes your insurance in Milledgeville save yourself some trouble and drive to Macon

It was my first time here. I transferred from another dentist in town. I was scheduled for a 6 month cleaning. Everything went better than I could have hoped for. All staff were friendly and professional.

They just need to shut this down. The whole staff is rude and unprofessional. Harrison is rough and she’ll pull a tooth for any reason and when I was younger and would scream in pain she’d strap me down to a table.

Great and Friendly Staff! Mrs. Vicki is so nice! If you are looking for a dentist, this is the best place to be.

I give her a 10 star. She did a absolutely great job on my top plate and didn't hurt me at all. I will recommend anyone to her. And the staff they were just GREAT. Thank you Dr Janet Harrison!

My children have been seeing Dr Harrison she could have killed my baby.....My 7 year old has had an abscess for over 2 weeks she told us 2 weeks ago there was nothing wrong with my baby although he has been in pain for weeks. Now he has to be IV sedated to fix several issues going on with his teeth if the infection would have made it to his blood stream he could have died, my 13 year old has been to her 4 times about the same cavity every time she filled it in it would fall out in a week or so. Not only does she not treat the problems correctly she is also very very rude to the parents as well as the children so is half of her staff. DR Harrison is a joke her license should be pulled don’t take your children to her

I wouldn't take my dog to her if she was the last dentist on Earth. This woman was very rude and rough. I had my tooth pulled on Thursday and it hurt worse than it did before I went to her. She numb me and it took her 45 min to come in and pull the tooth by the time she started the meds were wearing off. I felt everything. I asked was she going to be able to pull my tooth being it was broke down to the gym she said yes, once she started pulling the tooth broke once again and she had nothing to grip she send for a different instrument and it didn't work either so I'm sitting there like what the f$$$. Please take the time and find a good dentist because it is not the one. She really don't deserve one star I only clicked it because that's the only way I could rate her. Friendly environment, good people and great service. Highly recommended if u need dental work this is your woman.

Had an appointment at 3:30, arrived at 3:25, didn't get seen until 4:40. This happens consistently here...

Very unprofessional, I have never been to a a doctor or dentist where a bunch of people stand around cackling like a bunch of hens, so to speak, no time was spent explaining anything, and the front desk staff is RUDE and vague, changing dentist. I dont know how this place is still in business honestly. And they rush through EVERYTHING, the entire attitude is 'let's just get them out of here so we have some time to stand around and talk and play on our phones.' I wasn't even going to leave a review at all but I sent my husband to pick up my xrays so I can switch dentist, because my initial visit was just awful, I called and told her my husband was coming to get them, she said okay they're waiting on him, he gets there and apparently he needed written concent to get them, if she would have explained that he would have had that, but considering my initial paperwork stated that he was allowed to pick up copies of my files, I figured that would have been enough. If they weren't LAZY and would have looked back at that paperwork they would have seen it. I absoutley WOULD NOT reccomend this place to my worst enemy.... I had an appointment with Dr.Harrison I was having tooth pain she said it was infected , she gave me antibiotics that didn’t work ,she said my tooth was too far gone and was dead and that she wanted to pull it, while I got a second opinion bc I believed the tooth could be saved turns out was not an infected tooth but my wisdom teeth was pushing against the tooth causing the pain in the end needing my wisdom teeth cut out so my tooth turned out to be saved bc if the wisdom teeth being cut out that the teeth wasn’t dead or infected just a cavity in it . Her first reaction is to pull any bad tooth you have. I had an appointment scheduled as a new patient, anrd made it very clear on the phone that I was in pain. They got me in the next day, and I was very hopeful. I get there a few minutes early for my appointment since I know there will be paperwork, and I ended leaving after almost 45 minutes. NO ONE came to check us in, NO ONE acknowledge I was even there. They called me back after I had already returned to work, stating they had a "pop up" meeting and did not hear the front door open. They also wanted to see if they could get me back in that afternoon. NO. They knew what time I was scheduled, there is no reason someone could have not stepped out of their "meeting" to come to the front at the time they had appointments scheduled. Really disappointed and still do not have a dentist. Terrible first impression and a horrible way to run a business. Had an appointment scheduled for some dental work as a new patient, but never got to find out if the doctor was any good because half an hour before I was scheduled to be there the staff called to cancel my appointment. Not reschedule, but cancel. I was informed that because it was raining and stormy outside that they were closing the office. When I inquired about a work in or rescheduled appointment the lady laughed and said all their equipment was already shut down for the day. So you have the phone number of a brand new patient by looking me up in your system but not a way to change my appointment? That's just apathetic and unprofessional. If I had a new customer and had to break some bad news, even if it was that they are scared of a storm like a puppy, I would do everything in my power to make the new patient feel that they were top priority. BTW we got less than 1/2" of rain. At least I know a half an inch of water is enough to drowned in, so maybe that was the plan, to kill the business in half an inch. Not reschedule, but cancel. I was informed that because it was raining and stormy outside that they were closing the office. I took my son to have his annual dental visit with Janet Harrison. As we awaited her arrival , I witnessed her perform dental work on the gentleman across the hall from us. Once she was done, she walked out of his room into our room with those same gloves on, asked my son to open his mouth and proceeded to put her hands in his mouth with the same gloves that she used on the patient across the room from us. I was so focused on how she just walked in without greeting us that there was almost a delay in me quickly intervening/stopping her from putting her hands in my son's mouth. I jumped up and said "Don't put your hands in his mouth with those nasty gloves on." She asked me to step out and I did just that with my son along my side. This elder dentist is just mean, nasty, bitter, unsanitary and unprofessional with no bedside manners. I didn't want to give her a star at all but had to in order to submit this review. I've never been comfortable going to the dentist my bad teeth are proof of that but every part of my visit was done in a quick and professional manner and I felt that the doctor and staff cared for their customers

I have been with them a number of years. I wait two weeks to get a painful tooth pulled and sit for 30 minutes. Then I have to update my info just because my address changed. Then they tell me they can see me because Medicare is my primary. I had to make special arrangements to get here and I have surgery next week. Now I gotta wait a month or longer to get this thing pulled!furious!

Dr. Harrison is TERRIBLE! I took my kids to have their teeth cleaned and she wouldn't let me go back with them because only one person could be in the room at a time and I couldn't leave one kid in the waiting room while another went back. It was the first time one of my sons had ever been to the dentist. Also, she pulled two of my son's teeth for NO REASON. She was not nice to my kids at all. I will never go there again. I was so upset with how my children were treated and that they had to go back SCARED by themselves. I should have walked out! Dr. Harrison is TERRIBLE! Personality I wouldn't even give this dentist one star. This is the most disgusting dentist I have ever encountered. Very poor service and the dentist herself was so rude and uneducated. I made an appointment for a cleaning and the receptionist was so screwed up she didn't put it down. She put down a visit for dental work. When we were discussing the misunderstanding Janet Harrison was so rude and unprofessional. She had a very nasty attitude. I would not recommend her to my worst enemy. DON"T TAKE YOUR CHILD HERE!
