Dr. Jane J Wu

Unprofessional, did not listen to my concerns, and did not give a concrete diagnosis.

I was referred to Dr. Wu for a persistent cough. Waited two months to get in. Very disappointed. After three visits all I have got done is bloodwork, x-rays and CT scan. No diagnosis yet. Sending me now to a rumatologist and a lung hospital for further research. No facts but still suspects maybe lupus ….. also mentioned lung cancer, biopsy so casually. Unbelievable!

The doctor was unprofessional and did not give me a real diagnosis. Did not listen to my concerns and ignored my background information. Was not prepared to see me. Basically a waste of time and money.

Dr. Wu is a very caring and thorough doctor. She is very attentive, listens well and takes the time to discuss a plan to care for my issues. She doesn’t give up on me, tries to tackle multiple reasons for issues. I enjoy being her patient and feel I am in good hands with her.

Dr Wu is an excellent physician. She has cared for my father for many years and is one of the most engaged doctors that we have ever met. She listens closely and asks tons of questions. Absolutely avoid it. Reviews posted by others are all true, wish I had seen it before going. Not only the office visit wasn’t that great, but the office staff were even worse.

I would give 0 stars if I could, but Google insists that I give at least one star. Incredibly rude to patients, spends little time actually listening or discussing your issues, and will never look at your lab results. The front desk is just as terrible, if not worse.

Office staff, accounting and billing are completely inept. I was told that Dr. Wu and her practice accepted my insurance, United Healthcare. The claim was denied as out of network. I am stuck with the bill. I have seen Dr. Wu for more than 10 years with the same insurance. I am extremely disappointed. Dr. Wu, you are fired!

I cannot recommend Dr. Wu or her practice. The back office accounting and billing is inept. I confirmed on the phone with her staff prior to an appointment that Dr. Wu accepts United Healthcare. She an I discussed in my consult the challenges they were having with accounting and billing. They are not resolved. My claim was denied by UnitedHealth due to Dr Wu and her practice being out of network. I am out over $200 because of the inept, untruthful nature of Dr Wu and her staff. I recommend another Dr.

Staff and accounting are inept. Dr Wu is not terribly friendly. I confirmed with her office that they accepted my insurance. I was a 10 yr patient with the same insurance. Dr. Wu is the best! After coughing for 11 years, and going to so many Doctors, I was recommended to see Dr. Wu. I am so glad I did! She was able to treat me for my cough.....Three days later, I have not even coughed once! Dr. Wu is my hero!

Worst experience I've ever had with a doctor's office. It took 4 months and 9 messages before anyone in the office bothered to ever call me back. That same 4 months was me waiting to get a new cpap because mine had died 5 months earlier. I still ended up paying out of pocket for the machine. I love Dr. Wu!!!! She basically saved my life, after repeatedly being hospitalized year after year with pneumonia. She entered my hospital room the last time I was inpatient with pneumonia, and asked me, after introducing herself, how many times I'd had pneumonia. When I told her my history, she said, "Well, why don't we come up with a plan so that you don't keep getting pneumonia anymore?". I thought, 'yeah, right, that's not possible'. That was 3 years ago, and I haven't had pneumonia since then, nor have I had the symptoms I used to get that would eventually lead up to pneumonia and the ER, and then admittance. She's a wonderful, sharp pulmonologist, and when she walked into my life, I believe she saved me from dying of pneumonia. I would cough for so long, and feel so terrible that I could easily imagine passing away. Thank you Dr. Wu!! I love Dr. Wu!!!! Dr. Wu has managed my condition well. She makes herself available at all times and makes it a point to consult with my other doctors. I would recommend her to my friends without hesitation.

The office staff are not that friendly, and they don't smile much (or at least when I have been there). The wait will vary. This last time I went in right on time. If Dr. Wu gets stuck at the hospital, there may be a wait. Dr. Wu is a very caring, wonderful Dr. I have gone to her for 7 years now. She listens to every word, and focuses on you the whole time. She is detail oriented, gives you the time you need, very thorough in checking you out, and is pro-active with the care she gives you. Great
