Dr. Jane Wey

She was very thorough in explaining everything and took all the time we needed to answer any questions

I had a very pleasant experience with Dr. Wey and simply can not understand the negative rhetoric about her. She listened, provided feedback, instructed me as to what to do, and what steps were next for me. She was kind but more importantly she was very knowledgeable. I do not expect a best friend, nor do I have any expectation that "bedside manner" is a class you take in medical school. There is a difference in rating someone because they are capable, knowledgeable, and good at what they do vs. rating someone based on personality. My rating reflects her medical knowledge as it applies to my medical situation and her aptitude to perform surgery in a manner that is through, complete, and with out error.

I loved Dr. Wey. She was honest and upfront and when you are diagnosed with cancer, especially with the rare type I have, I want the facts. She always explained things to me and was not offended by all my questions. I am sad that's she left Cleveland Clinic. I received the best care at Cleveland Clinic.

Doctor Wey is a surgeon, not your best friend. My husband had Acute Pancreatitis with a Necrotic Pancreas, she saved my husbands life in 2017. I highly recommend her.

Our family was totally appalled by her bedside manner! Finding out after surgery my husband was terminal, she was the most uncaring, cold hearted Doctor we have ever dealt with!!!! She needed to study bedside manner....isn't that part of being a doctor????!!!!! After surgery and room visits, it was no better! You would think when you tell family members our loved one is terminal....a little compassion would come from the heart!?? Her staff was amazing, Dr. Wey.....disgusted with her demeanor!

Do not see this doctor! Dr. Wey is the most rude and unprofessional doctor I have seen. She did not answer any of my questions and instead of giving me alternatives to my health issues, she criticized my weight and made me visibly upset! I unfortunately have health issues that cause weight gain as a side effect- which if she looked at my chart she would know. She said I was not worth her time and that I could get a second opinion if I wanted. I expected a lot more from the Cleveland Clinic.
