Terrible wait time! If you can go elsewhere do it!

Dr. Goldthorn is a brilliant surgeon that will go the extra mile for her patients. She has been the surgeon for both of my son's emergency intestinal blockage surgeries. She got to the ER the minute she was called (at 3am), and she knew exactly what to do and quickly assigned the nurses their instructions which they were quick to do. Everything went effortlessly. She explained what was going to happen exactly the way it happened. So if the one star reviewers, that are complaining about how terrible it is to wait a couple hours in order to see the best surgeon in Lubbock..... Well that's not too much to endure. She is worth the wait. Five stars across the board for Dr Goldthorn. Dr. Goldthorn is a brilliant surgeon that will go the extra mile for her patients. Dr. Goldthorn is awesome. She is kind and caring. Sometimes it takes awhile to see her but it is worth it. She takes the time to make sure that her patients get wonderful care.

Dr. Goldthorn was recommended by our doctor and others said she was the best. She was the best and did surgery on our 16 month old son. It would take a special doctor to take care of children everyday. We appreciated her help and the care that we received.

IT was an HONOR to work with this amazing SURGEON, I would recommend her to my Family members, Friends, Very Professional, Caring, Great bedside manners, Worked 24/7 Great Teacher .I learned so much for being a young kid myself right out of school. TEF, NISSAN FUNDOPLICATION, INVERTED PECTUS,SEVIA PULL THROUGH, BEDSIDE PDA, ECMO'S.She even made sure to have a special-specfic OPERATING ROOM ,CHOR. Very specific oriented.

You have to prepare to wait 2 hours. She is so busy. We came 2:00pm and still we didn't see dr. Goldthorn. Kids gone crazy.

I would recommend Doctor Goldthorn..she is an amazing lady and by the book
